Newly upgraded Bemus Point home just steps away from everything! Leave your car at home and enjoy all that Bemus has to offer on foot. This includes great restaurants with waterfront dining, shopping, boat and kayak rentals, a coffee shop, a market with an outdoor ice cream shop, a local park with tables and grills, and a golf course. Minutes away from Chautauqua Institution. A short drive away are many other quaint towns along Chautauqua to explore, such as Jamestown, Lakewood, and Mayville. Lake Erie wineries are about 20-30 minutes away. Large back yard for games and gas grilling enjoyment. At night relax and roast marshmallows by the wood-burning fire pit. Many winter activities to choose from including skiing, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, ice fishing, cross country skiing, sledding and much more.

Enjoying Chautauqua Lake!

Very pleasant well maintained home with all the amenities of home. Tastefully decorated. Huge back yard that you can relax in and watch all the activity on the lake. Centrally located so that you can easily walk to all the highlights of Bemus Point.

Wonderful house

7 friends stayed for a girls getaway weekend. The location was excellent and the house was fully equipped. We would definitely rent it again!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in Bemus! Many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Cozy and clean house that included everything we needed to feel at home, including many thoughtful extras!

Amazing Location, Great House

You can see Lake Chautauqua from the backyard of this great house. We walked to restaurants each night; we didn't have to deal with any traffic due to the prime location.

Blue lake house

Great night at the Blue Lake House. Beautiful updated home. Everything we needed was right there. Owner responded quickly to my questions. A very short walk to restaurants and shops. Loved our dinner at Splash.

Older, but nice house for a family

It was a nice place to stay and relax. The kitchen could use things like potholders and dish rags. Otherwise it is a great place to stay, clean, but definitely an older house.

Second stay at the Blue House

We love Lake Chautauqua and this property is PERFECT for the way we like to play in the area. Bemus Point is amazing. The location of this house in town is so convenient. The property is clean, well cared for and very very comfortable. We visited as adults with friends for a landmark birthday trip last year and brought our teen children and a couple of friends this year to visit the same spot. It's a win for us! - While you ae there, rent a boat from Bemus Bay Water Toys too great service!

Amazing cottage

This was hands down the best equipped Vrbo I’ve ever stayed in. The owners thought of everything. The place was cozy and comfortable. The location was amazing. The beds were great. Off street parking was convenient. The backyard and fire pit were awesome. The kitchen had everything. Zero complaints from the family!!!!

Perfect family long weekend getaway

The location of The Blue House cannot be matched - literally steps away from the downtown area of the village. We took our parents and our kids for a family trip and the ease of the location made it possible for our elderly parents to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The home is very tastefully decorated with a lakeside theme. Everything we needed was there, including a shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser in the shower! We enjoyed dinners and game nights around the large dining room table and one evening by the fire pit our back - where we could see the lake at sunset. Lori was easy to contact and helpful with area info and even left a whole display of local guides at the house. We are already planning to return for a birthday celebration!

Not as promised.

This property was not refurbished as promised. Kitchen was very old, no dishwasher, old sink, limited counter use due to ants. Only one full bath, shower was so old it was permanently gray. Beds were very soft I think because they were old. Automatic locking device on door which we had never encountered before, and so we got locked out. Humiliating to be treated this way. Very steep steps going upstairs. Not for elders or people with knee issues. Probably ok if you have a lot of kids. Best thing was location in the center of town

Wonderful Property and Very Kind Host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay on this property. The house is absolutely adorable, clean and very spacious! We had a group of 6 ladies and we could couldn’t believe how convenient the location was to the waterfront and everything Bemus has to offer! Kitchen was perfect for preparing food and the fire pit was great for a fall evening. A special thank you to Lori for her excellent communication and thoughtfulness☺️

Clean and convienient

House was clean and well appointed. Very comfortable, and local to the main downtown areas for walking. Due to age of the house, the bath and bedroom arrangement was a little different - had to walk through the bathroom to get to one of the bedrooms. Backyard with firepit was super nice for hanging out.
