About the property

House, 1 Bedroom + Other (See Description), 1 Baths (Sleeps 2-4)

An authentic restored two story adobe compound located on historic Ledoux Street, Casa de Flores Navajo Casita offers a peaceful quiet location within minutes of walking to the Taos plaza, John Dunn Plaza shops and famous Bent Street with all its' shops and eateries. The house is just steps away from the renowned Harwood Museum, the Blumenschein Museum, and the R.C. Gorman gallery.

The Navajo Casita was formerly the art storage building for RC Gorman. Restored in 2013-14, parts of this home date back 200-300 years. The home has been completely renovated with new windows, floors, kitchen and bathroom.

This unit is ideal for a couple or family as the bathroom is located immediately off the upstairs bedroom.

Often painted by local artists, this charming adobe has all the conveniences of home! Decorated in tasteful New Mexican decor, the home has original wood vigas & ceilings, gas kiva fireplace, & beautiful talavera tiles.

Casa de Flores Navajo Casita is a spacious one bedroom home, measuring 1,200 sf. The bright, cheerful upstairs bedroom features a king size bed and new bathroom. The kitchen and bathroom are new and the home is also equipped with satelite television and high speed DSL internet service.

Casa de Flores Navajo Casita can be rented with the Casa de Flores #61210 and Gallery Casitas #428403 next door to accomodate larger groups.

The entrance to Ledoux St is very small and narrow and will not accomodate RV's or campers. Casa de Flores Navajo Casita has one dedicated parking space in front.

This is a lovely condo. Loved the off street parking. Everything we needed and could walk all over town. Can't wait to go back.

Perfect Stay

Beautiful, updated casita a block away from the plaza. Great patio area and it was really nice having the driveway to park in. I would highly recommend this casita.

Darling and convenient

  • 5 of 5

This property is within walking distance to the Taos Plaza with many art galleries, shops, and restaurants. It is cute and authentic with a fully stocked kitchen and simple southwestern décor. The king bed was very comfortable and we didn't have an issue with the bathroom being upstairs as there was just the two of us. The front porch is perfectly shady in the afternoon and had the most fragrant roses blooming, it was a great place to come back and rest before going out to dinner. The host is very helpful and reachable. We would stay here again. I highly recommend the Farmers Market on Saturday morning in the plaza, not only beautiful produce but amazing food too.....empanadas!

We love good food and walking distance eateries we highly recommend are Bella's for dinner and Bent St Café for breakfast-both have outdoor seating and authentic New Mexican food.

Style + location + kitchen = FABULOUS

  • 5 of 5

Well maintained, tastefully decorated, very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen - we found everything we needed, from coffee grinder to hand-held citrus squeezer for margaritas. And literally steps from the Harwood Museum (a must-see). Owner wonderfully responsive throughout booking process and during our stay. If I go back to Taos, will definitely stay here again.

The three C's: Clean, cozy, comfortable, and a five star home away stay!

  • 5 of 5

Family of four would definitely stay here again! Helen was a true gem to work with. She is friendly, sweet, helpful, and was quick to return my calls with any questions I might have :) The casita was everything it advertised it would be. The home was tastefully decorated with New Mexico art, comfortable/clean furniture, super comfy bed with quality sheets and coverlet, fluffy white towels you would find in a five star hotel, cozy fireplaces, adorable...just adorable! Another reviewer had said the stairs were steep, but my whole family did not find them steep at all. Also, the driveway fit my Extended SUV with no problem. Yes, the road is a one way coming in, but we had no problem parking our family size SUV. Marjorie Salon is literally steps away for an excellent facial and Black Horse Winery next door was a treat to visit at the end of the day. We skied during the day and enjoyed the ability to stroll the plaza in the evening for authentic New Mexican food. Can't wait to stay here again!
