Beautiful Casita in the heart of Taos
We loved our stay here at this casita in Taos! Fabulous location, right in the heart of art galleries and only a few blocks to all the shops and restaurants. The property itself was updated and impeccably clean. The bed was super comfortable. It was the ideal size for two adults. It was decorated beautifully in a modern yet Southwestern fusion style, which I appreciated. I highly recommend it!
Top shelf place to stay.
This was perfect for us. Clean comfortable well maintained and convient. Everything you need for your stay. New apliances. Quiet and cozy with room to spread out. Handy to have such a short walk the resturants and shops. Highly recomended. I would stay again.
Authentic, Historical, Convenient, Well Done
I returned to Taos to visit a beautiful place I lived 40 years ago, and ended up staying in one of the historical RC Gorman buildings, on LeDoux St, 1 block from the plaza. The 2 story 1 bdrm space that we stayed in was well decorated with traditional NM-style furnishings, appliance are newish looking, the bdrm is upstairs and separate from the rest of the house, if you need privacy. The cost was reasonable too. I would stay here again.
Perfect location downtown, stylish house
The house was great for the three of us as a base to discover Taos and for the daily skiing trips at Taos Ski Valley. 2 min to the Plaza walking and few steps away from 2 restaurants, museum and galleries in the old part of town. Helen was very accommodating with quick and easy communication. She let us stay for a late checkout we requested for personal reasons - special thanks for that. A really cool thing: 3 individually controlled fireplaces heat the house; we loved it.
First class accommodations on a historic street ideally located .
Property had everything one could possibly want or need. Tastefully decorated with real folk art on the walls and shelves. Immaculate, adobe style, fairly priced . Town of of Taos is charming, restaurants, art galleries, and shopping abound, surrounding mountains and scenery are spectacular. Old
time big mountain skiing , as opposed to a glitzy corporate style resort, is 35 minutes away. This is a perfect place to spend a week or more.
We have stayed in a lot of VRBO properties and this is right up at the top of the list. It's a beautiful home - and you do feel as though you are "at home." It's extremely clean, quiet, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Its close proximity to the Plaza makes it possible to walk to restaurants, shopping, museums, coffee shops. We will definitely stay here again if it is available when we next visit Taos.
