An authentic restored adobe compound located on historic Ledoux Street, Casa de Flores offers a peaceful quiet location within minutes of walking to the Taos plaza, John Dunn Plaza shops and famous Bent Street with all its' shops and eateries. The house is just steps away from the renowned Harwood Museum, the Blumenschein Museum, and the R.C. Gorman gallery.

Often painted by local artists, this charming adobe has all the conveniences of home! Decorated in tasteful New Mexican decor, the home has original wood vigas & ceilings, gas kiva fireplace, & beautiful talavera tiles.

Casa de Flores is a spacious one bedroom home, measuring 1,200 sf. The main bedroom features a king size bed. The light filled adjoining half bedroom can be used as a study or the day bed with trundle can sleep two additional people. The kitchen and bathroom are recently renovated and the home is also equipped with cable television, XM satelite radio and high speed DSL internet service.

Casa de Flores can be rented with the Casa de Flores Gallery Casitas #428403 next door to accomodate larger groups.

The entrance to Ledoux St is very small and narrow and will not accomodate RV's or campers. Parking on Ledoux St can be busy during the day but Casa de Flores has one dedicated parking space in front.

Please note: Casa de Flores is a 300 yr old adobe home with potential tripping hazards such as uneven floors, steps and transitions between rooms. The bathroom is located off the kitchen requiring guests to walk 20-25 steps from the bedroom.

What makes this house unique

Casa de Flores great location in Taos - close to everything but also on a cute and very historic side street.

Guestbook comments from the owner

David and Lisa-

For years we've come to Taos in August to take in the scenery and culture, and escape 100+ temps in Oklahoma. It never disappoints and neither did your lovely little house! What a wonderful week – never had the tv on! We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely perfect in every way.

This property is absolutely perfect in every way. Tucked away on a magical street in the center of town, it's walking distance to everything, yet feels quiet and removed. As an interior designer myself I really appreciated the tasteful decor, from the furniture to the original art to the gorgeous handwoven textiles. No detail was spared. I also loved having the possibility of renting the neighboring unit when traveling with a larger party. We will be returning and can highly recommend this lovely casita.

A cozy, beautiful retreat close to Taos Plaza

  • 5 of 5

My husband, children and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Taos in this charming Adobe house. The accommodations were lovely and one of our fondest memories will be relaxing in the beautiful gated courtyard filled with colorful flowers listening to music. Would highly recommend this house to any couple or family of 4 visiting the Taos area. You won't regret it!

Great house!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Case de Flores over spring break. It took us about 30 minutes to get to Taos Ski Valley. The house is very nice with everything we needed for our stay. We had plenty of room for our family of 4. The kitchen is well stocked and great for cooking your our meals. There is also lots to do within walking distance. We ate at a few restaurants that are less than a 5 minute walk away. My only complaint is that the house creaks very loudly at night, all night. Not sure why or if it happens all the time. I'm a light sleeper, but fortunately I had earplugs with me. It didn't seem to bother anyone else, just me. Take earplugs if you are a light sleeper. I would definitely stay here again!

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for taking the time to write. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay but also sorry that there was noise that bothered you. Unfortunately old adobes are a bit quirky and occasionally issues like that occur. I'm glad that your family enjoyed the house, its' close in location and all that Taos has to offer. Cordially, Lisa and David

Beautiful 300 year old Adoble home that has been beautifully updated and lovingly maintained. Tastefully decorated featuring comfy seating, large bedroom, fully stocked kitchen with all needed appliances. Bathroom is small, functional with beautiful handmade tiles. Great washer and dryer that made me jealous! Home has lovely covered porch and patio area. Special place to stay at a great price!
