The hued logs and interior walls were all done by hand as well as all the chinking between the logs. Conveniently and centrally located to Dollywood (15 minutes), Tanger Five Oaks Mall and the Parkway in Pigeon Forge (8-10 minutes), Gatlinburg (25 minutes), Wears Valley (15 minutes), The great Smoky Mountains National Park (30 minutes) and Sevierville is about 8 minutes. This home is very special to us and we hope it will be special to you and your family as well. It was built on our faith in GOD, love and a lot of hard work. May God Bless each and everyone who stays in our cabin.

About Randall Mitchell
I had a vision several years ago to build a cabin and leave something for my children. I built this cabin from the ground up with my friend and family and fully relying on GOD this was the outcome. This is for my children's education and future and I pray for blessing to come to all who stay as guests.
Randall Mitchell purchased this Cabin in 2008
Why Randall Mitchell chose Sevierville
This is the true log cabin you have been looking for with warmth and feel of the 1800's. It is all authentic and built by hand one piece of wood at a time. You will enjoy the craftsmanship and time put into this beautiful home. It was built on faith and our trust in God in the summer of 2007. This home was built from the ground up by a family of 4 and a dear friend. It is the foundation of my children's future and education and I pray that God blesses all that stay in our cabin.

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay at this cabin. You can look at the woodwork and see the beauty and also feel the love that is in it.
Then, I lay down the first night and could hear the crickets outside. SO peaceful!!
We were just 8-9 mins away from the Pkwy in Pigeon Forge so we were still able to enjoy shopping but had everything we needed to enjoy the comforts of a home away from home. I didn't realize when I booked it that it was "Rodrun" weekend so we were cozied up in the cabin away from the crowds.
Thank you for choosing our cabin and we are glad you enjoyed your peaceful getaway. We certainly look forward to having you back in the near future for your Mountain vacation.
We spent a couple of days of peace and quiet here.
We appreciated the neatness, cleanliness, and freedom from clutter, and thank our hosts for a couple of extra considerations they extended to us. The spa in the twilight was a special golden moment for us. The house will work for for a three-generation family group, with grandkids in sleeping bags; practically, having the washing machine in a bathroom interferes. After a day of hectic Gatlinburg, this peaceful retreat was so nice!
The cabin was perfect and peaceful we really enjoyed our stay. It was also very clean. The pictures just don't do it justice,we can't wait to come back and stay again.
Our family enjoyed our long weekend staying in the Little House on the Prairie. It's a charming and clean cabin with many unique touches. This location is perfect for the travelers that want to stay close enough to all the area has to offer (we were in Gatlinburg in not much more than a half hour), but still have the option to not go into the busier areas if they don't wish to. The owner was very helpful with any questions that we had as well. We would definitely stay there again!
BEAUTIFUL & SERENE...
The cabin was BEAUTIFUL & SERENE to say the least! This was my first time to rent a cabin, so I was a little skeptical as to what it would really look like in person. I was pleasantly surprised how pretty it was, the pictures DON'T do it justice. It had everything anybody could want or need and I can't wait to go back for another visit!!! My only regret is that we were so busy with my son's wedding that we didn't get to sit around and ENJOY it more. By the way, Randall and his wife are lovely people and made us feel welcome immediately!!!!!!!
Adorable cabin with a great yard for children and pets!
I booked this cabin specifically for the large yard - we are normally on a cliff and the children can't go outside. It was amazing to let the kids 3 and 5 run in the yard and do gymnastics and create things with sticks and twigs. And our puppy loved having some space to actually run. The cabin itself was wonderful as well. It has so much character and is very well built. I was very impressed with the effectiveness of the central air conditioner and the great insulation. The size was perfect for our family and we enjoyed drinking our tea on the porch every morning - with a great mountain view. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who wanted a little space to relax in without the congestion of a little mountainside rental community. We will most likely be returning for a future visit :)
Only minutes away from beautiful downtown Pigeon Forge with great shopping, Theater Shows, The Island, Tanger Five Oaks Mall, Horseback riding. 25 minutes away from historic Cades Cove and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Great private setting with large front and back yard. Far enough out to enjoy the peace and serenity of the country but close enough to enjoy all that Sevier County has to offer including Dollywood and Splash Country that is a 14 minute drive from your cabin.
