About Drorit Gelbard

My husband and I were born in a big crowded city where most people live in apartment complexes. We dreamed to live on the water, and luckily found this gorgeous home on Spring Lake. We hope to live there in our retirement

Drorit Gelbard purchased this house in 2013

Why Drorit Gelbard chose West Central

This spot has the nicest view of the Lake. You have close to 180 degrees of water view

What makes this house unique

The location of the house is great because it is so close to downtown Spring Lake and Grand Haven

The Perfect Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

I would sincerely like to thank you for your hospitality. The home, lake front view, the enormous amounts of entertainment were perfect for our first entire family vacation. This trip was in honor of my parents 50th wedding anniversary and couldn't have been a better stay. The home was immaculate, the service if we needed anything was so quick, and there wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't stocked in the home. You have thought of everything!! I will definitely be returning to Spring Lake and would love to stay at this same house. Thank you again for making our vacation so special!!

Awesome Deck and Lake Access

  • 5 of 5

Owner is an excellent host, upon arrival the house was exceptionally clean. She was very helpful explaining everything about the house and giving us information about the local area. A small negative is that many of the beds upstairs are singles, expected a few more full size, but we still had no problem sleeping 11. The living room and deck area are great, plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the lake and the view. It was very helpful to have access to the garage and second fridge. We had one maintenance issue while on site, those things happen, and owner responded immediately. All in all a very good experience, thanks Drorit!

Beautifully relaxing property!

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful lake house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay this past week. We had a Father's Day gathering of about 18 people which this property accommodated well for the day. The family easily spread out between the lawn and the deck, and after dark, the large living room was appreciated to escape from mosquitoes!

Those that stayed that night (12) had plenty of room and hot water. With 3 bathrooms, there was never a problem.

Later in the week, the few of us remaining, explored sights in Muskegon (an exceptional Edward Curtis exhibit at the Art Museum this summer), Grand Haven (a free walking tour and free historical museum), walked the beach dunes at Rosy Mound, visited the towns of Holland and Saugatuck. There was plenty to do in addition to watching the boats on Spring Lake and the fishermen on the Town Pier!

The house was well equipped with kitchen appliances of all types, a nice gas grill and plenty of chairs for outdoor and indoor seating. The house was very clean, and the beds were comfortable!

Thank you Drorit for the lovely house and beautiful gardens and view of the lake! We had an awesome time!

Beautiful home, awesome location!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time on our multi-generational family trip. Ages ranged from 2-78 and everyone absolutely loved the home. Loved having the private boat dock and the beautiful deck and fire pit to enjoy the evenings outside. Lovely, serene lake views and comfortable living spaces make this house a wonderful choice for a relaxing getaway. Even the beds were comfortable, and I'm picky! Spring lake is a nice little town and Grand Haven is just a few minutes drive for more dining/shopping options. Larger cities like Holland and Grand Rapids are close enough for a visit as well. Absolutely perfect trip and hope to return again in the future! Thanks Drorit!

Beautiful, restful location. Excellent Hosts! Well stocked and convenient!

  • 5 of 5

My family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this beautiful property. It was perfect for us! We are an active family ranging from late teens to late 80's, and this location perfectly accommodated both our hectic and not-hectic schedules. Our family is from the Grand Rapids area, so it was perfect for us to zip in and out as needed. Plenty of parking was available, and Drorit helped us figure out just where we could park to not be in the way of any neighbors. There was also a delightful welcoming gift on the kitchen counter when we arrived - we arm wrestled over the chocolate - just sayin...

The home was well stocked with a wide range of amenities - from kitchen needs to outdoor games to barbecue equipment. Also an extra refrigerator in the garage (which we took full advantage of - very helpful when preparing large family meals!)

We took our dogs on daily adventure walks around the neighborhood and thoroughly enjoyed a nearby walking/biking path as well as beautiful homes and gardens on surrounding blocks. Many boat trips were taken, and many sunsets enjoyed on the peaceful deck by the water (even a few coho were caught!). We also shared delightful sunny breakfasts around the spacious dining table in the bright sunroom. As an unexpected bonus, the local yacht club was either holding sailing classes, or conducting sailboat races right in front of the property on quite a few days while we were there. What fun to watch! (the SLYC (Spring Lake Yacht Club) is just across the water).

Plenty of towels and linens and laundry supplies... we lacked for nothing. The Wi-Fi was very convenient - I often had to call in for meetings at work (and nieces/ nephews had their social lives to maintain...) Wonderful! If we had any questions, Drorit always quickly responded either by text, email or phone. In fact, because we were unable to check in the first night we had planned to stay, Drorit kindly offered to let us stay an additional evening (there was an opening following our stay.) What a gift! We threatened to never leave, but unfortunately we had to return to our regular lives NOT on the beautiful waters of Spring Lake. We will definitely be staying again, and I have already recommended this location to my friends at work (actually during one of the meetings I had to call in for... ha!) Thoroughly enjoyable stay. THANK YOU DRORIT!!! XOXOXOX
