The house was built in 1920 and completely renovated in 2007. It's located in the heart of Bend's premiere historic district. Great for family vacations. One block to Drake Park, walk downtown in 5 minutes, and the Old Mill in 15 minutes. This 4000 square foot house is nicely equipped! High end kitchen appliances, home theater, large master bedroom with a gas fireplace on the main floor. The main level is a fairly open concept. The kitchen nook provides the perfect place for everyone to gather in the kitchen. Backyard dining, fire pit, hot tub and quiet sitting area in the garden. The front porch is the perfect place to have your morning coffee.
Please note that we do not accept booking for summer each year until the end of February of that year.

Perfectly located to downtown and nearby fun excursions. Beautiful decor and yard. Wi-Fi worked very well. Easy generous parking for two vehicles.

Great location, beautifully decorated home. Had some challenges with master shower (constant drip, some functions not working - owner had part on order), nonfunctional coffee maker (owner replaced quickly), slow draining sink in powder room. Highly recommend it if you're looking for something walkable to downtown and very near the river. It is the owner's primary residence, which isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Amazing location and home

Fabulous location for our family to enjoy spending time together. The home is so comfortable and clean. The outdoor spaces are perfect to enjoy the beautiful Bend weather. The kitchen has everything we could ever want. We enjoyed cooking at home and sitting outside.

Wonderful Stay in Bend!

Simply put, our stay in Bend was wonderful! We had a family group of 8 stay. The room in the house, location location location, and a superb outside living area made our stay be one of the best we've had. I'd recommend the home to anyone looking for plenty of room, quiet, and with all the amenities anyone would need. The owner provided great communication along the way - Nothing but a beautiful home and looking forward to returning!

Bend visits

This is a very nice property. - clean and well maintained - that has an excellent location for walking to shopping, entertainment and restaurants. It was big enough for a large family. Parking for one car is easy.

Perfect “Grooms Family” home!

My son had a destination wedding in Bend, and we found the perfect place to call home for the week. Hot Tub, Gas fire pit, and full theatre room in this spacious four bedroom home. It’s a seconds walk to the river and 5 min walk to downtown.

Dream house in Bend

What a wonderful home the owners have in a perfect location. The house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Walking distance to the river and to downtown. The owner is very responsive and helpful. What a great place to create memories with your loved ones! The kids loved the theater room and the s’mores we made in the fire pit out back. We hope to visit Bend again in the future, and we know the perfect place to stay!

Amazing house in an amazing location

This property exceeded our expectations. Our group was in town for a conference and chose to stay together in a house instead of separate hotel rooms for team building and camaraderie reasons. This was quite the successful experience staying here. Easy walking to restaurants in the downtown area for dinner, and easy access to the river trail to walk to the conference venue. With a tight conference schedule, we were unable to fully enjoy all of the amenities, such as the hot tub and theater room, but appreciated their availability.

Gorgeous home in perfect location!

Gorgeous, modern,and well-appointed home located in the most perfect neighborhood of Bend. The home exceeded our expectations. We absolutely loved the private outdoor space and the interior was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Our stay was a 5-star luxury experience. There was one minor issue where we were unable to use the hot tub due to an electrical issue. Although not resolved during our stay, Suzanne was super responsive and attempted to get it resolved quickly. I believe this was just a case of bad timing as it was working fine prior to our arrival. However, in the end, it was not an issue for us because it was a low priority given all of the time we spent using the other property amenities and enjoying activities in and around Bend. In the end, I would highly recommend this home and it would be our top choice if we return to Bend.

Best location in Bend. Absolutely stunning house with beautiful backyard and front yard.

Impressive historic home on one of the Best streets downtown, just off Drake park. Easy walking to everything. This house is in the Heart of Bend. The Owner has not left one detail out. Hope our family can stay here again.

Beautiful Home and Neighborhood

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of weeks with our two young children and it was fantastic! The home is a remodeled craftsman in a beautiful neighborhood. Just across the street is Drake Park and downtown is about two blocks away. You really can’t beat the location. The home itself was clean and comfortable with tons of craftsman charm. There is a lovely backyard, which we all enjoyed. It was really nice to have the yard so the kids could run around outside (they loved running through the sprinklers, of course). This property is such a gem. Highly recommend.

Perfection!

"Old Bend" was a perfect home in the perfect spot for our week in Bend. The home is warm and comfortable, but also tastefully decorated and well-equipped. We loved that we could walk into town for meals or shopping, or hop over to the park on the river to exercise or stroll. It was just what we had hoped it would be. Thank you!

Great home and location

Beautiful Craftsman style home, unusually expansive, lots of room for large family. Big screen TV room downstairs. The location is the BEST, walking distance to local museum, restaurants, pubs, and the river side parks and the fantastic outdoor entertainment complex at the Old Mill area. Host was right on with restaurant recommendations. Be sure to try the Lemon Tree, short walk, breakfast (9am) and lunch, great food any time we went there. Worthy brewing, right next door, has great beer selection and does burgers, etc. for dinner. Bend Brewing, only a little further, is a laidback outdoor pub, great. And Crux, a little further, is great too. Most restaurants are vegan friendly, just ask. An amazing area and this house is right in the middle of it all.

Great location

This home is lovely. It’s very close to downtown and Drake Park and is also very quiet. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning works very well. The kids enjoyed the movie theater. There is lots of space inside and out for people to gather.

Exceptional Bend Vacation Rental

This home is even better than the pictures. It is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. The backyard is a gorgeous oasis with several areas to relax. The front porch looks down to Drake Park, just far enough away so you aren’t bothered by traffic. You can easily walk to downtown, the Box Factory or Old Mill. The theater room was a perfect place for our family movie night. Suzanne is a perfect host, super responsive and helpful. Thank you for providing a wonderful place for our family vacation.
