Loved the location, very quiet.

  • 5 of 5

Although this cabin is a 35-40 minute drive from Yosemite Valley we were happy to be there. We have visited Yosemite many times and were happy to explore Wawona and that part of the Park. The cabin was clean and comfortable, the property managers were very, very helpful and overall I would recommend.

As expected

The cabin was fine. Only problem was a cheapy toaster that consistently burned the toast and set off the fire alarm. Otherwise fine.

Cabin in the woods

  • 5 of 5

This was a nice cabin - well situated above the river and an easy walk to a swimming hole. It was well shaded during the day so stayed relatively cool. It was clean and a good place to launch a trip.

Peaceful Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for sharing this little peace of heaven. We enjoyed 3 fabulous days exploring Wawona and the Valley of Yosemite. Hiking to the swinging bridge and then sliding down the rocks and swimming in the river were a big hit. Junior Ranger badges were earned and the accomplishment of hiking to the top of Vernal Falls were all made possible by our wonderful retreat we called home. We covered the patio table with butcher paper and had our own outdoor pleine art studio.---wonderful paintings occurred. It's worth the effort to get to this special cabin.

Cozy and well equipped

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay - found the cabin to be very clean and cozy, secluded. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment, pots, pans etc. It would have been nice to have one empty cabinet to store food in :) Our only complaint was the beds - the mattresses seemed broken down, soft, and not very comfortable. Otherwise, thumbs up!
