Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this location for about two weeks. Overall the location and amenities were great, and the hosts were wonderful to interact with and make our stay a pleasant one. The location was also great for our three kids. The only knock would be no AC, although we were fine in June as it wasn't too hot.

Perfect Spot for the Family!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The gated community is perfectly planned with the pool close by and the beach a short walk away. The beach was beautiful and the condo was well equipped with comfy beds and big couch and TV. Only downside was loud neighbors late in the night as everyone is quite close together. We had to shut the windows every night around 11pm when they came home because it would wake up my children. I suspect other renters. We would happily rent any of the Stubbs rentals again as they were a pleasure to talk to and very accommodating.

Outdated

Unit is outdated. First impression was the unit had not been occupied for awhile. The entrance was in need of cleaning with weeds and dead leaves. The dining room chairs are uncomfortable. The lights are difficult to operate with outdated switches. Old shag carpet is everywhere. Old wire hangers in closets. Kitchen not very will stocked. Plates, utensils, pots and pans look like they were picked up from Goodwill. Had to buy a coffee maker for ground coffee. Never figured out the heating system. Will never return here. The only positives were the heated pool, jacuzzi and unit management.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is not as depicted in posted pictures. The table and chairs have been changed, the couch is now broken in the middle, and there is no longer carpet in the main living area/stairs/bedrooms. The kitchen chairs are so worn that they hurt my thighs as the padding has worn down so your leg rests on the wooden frame. The coffee table in the main room had a broken handle and a towel rack in the 1⁄2 bath was held up on one side by two haphazard nails (clearly not how it was designed). Upstairs in the one bedroom, both headboards on the beds had previously been nailed into the wall, but had completely pulled out. We ended up moving them into the closet during our stay to prevent a safety hazard. The kitchen has a mix-n-match type of pots/pans/cups/plates etc. reminiscent of a college house with various inhabitants contributing items. There was also a great lack of basic drinking glasses. There were more options for margarita or wine glasses than for water or juice. There were a few other smaller issues – soap only provided in 2 bathrooms, rust in upstairs bathroom, etc. Overall this property could be much improved by a few hours with a handyman and some new glassware. Understandably, new kitchen chairs and a new couch would be a bigger investment. But we would not recommend the unit in its current state. Pros: Stubbs did quickly work to remedy a problem with ants in the kitchen and with the remote for the parking garage not working. Unit management was easy to work with. The heated pool (across the street at the other part of the complex) and the hot tubs were well used by our family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved the location! We did have ants-LOTS OF ANTS! I let the office know and they said that was normal but both my sister and brother were staying in different condos and neither of them had the same experience with ants in their kitchens. We kept our food sealed tight but we were still constantly spraying.

Reviewer Comments: Location and access to beach is great.Toilets and sinks were clean but hard floors (kitchen and bathrooms) were not swept. Who knows if carpets are clean?Beds were semi-comfortable.Couches and dining chairs have seen better days.Kitchen pots, pans, and cooking utensils are in bad shape.Sub-flooring is bad so there are many soft spots/creaks upstairs.

Perfect San Diego Vacation
