Der Steiermark is ideally located approximately 100 yards from the Peak 9 base area, and only half a block off Main Street on the mountain side. We are right on the Blue River and you access the Riverwalk right out our back door. Our location is very convenient to the Quicksilver ski lift and ice skating at the Village, and all restaurants and shops in Breckenridge. Our favorite Mexican restaurant, MiCasa, is located on our first floor; along with Blue River Sports for all your skiing, boarding and biking rentals.

We have internet access, outdoor hot tub, locked heated garage with elevator; and we completed an extensive facade remodel a few years ago. There are nice views from the balcony and we have woodburning fireplaces. My one bedroom loft with one bath has a queen in the downstairs bedroom, and a queen and two twins in the large loft. It is nicely decorated, comfortable and very affordable as you can tell from the rates.

Roomy bonus loft close to slopes

This unit was excellent for our family of 4. Our two teenagers enjoyed having a loft with real beds - usually we rent a one bedroom with a sleeper sofa. The bathroom had 4 fulll towel racks instead of just few hooks and the kitchen was fully stocked - even included coffee and spices. The lockbox outside the apartment meant we didn't lose any keys on the slopes.

This unit is as close to the slopes as you can get and right next to the Main St. shops and restaurants also.

As for the skiing, we were very disappointed with the 45 minute wait lines for the lift for peak 9 - even first thing in the morning. However, we did come on Christmas week. We'll be trying a different mountain next year.

Too bad, because the housing was excellent.

Location is the best

I have stayed in this unit back in February 2015 as well as December 2015. The location is second to none. Just a short walk across the street and through the Maggie and your at the lifts. The condo is comfy and cozy, has a fire place, fully equipped kitchen and almost anything you might need. Nona, is very easy to deal with, and I look forward to many more stays. Thanks again Nona!

Yearly Breckenridge Ski Vacation

For the past three years my wife and I have rented this unit and my brother and his wife have joined us for the week. The location is perfect as we walk one block to the lifts and there is a great restaurent and ski rental in the building. The entire town of Breckenridge is ten steps from our door as the free bus service picks us up at our door. We enjoy a cozy fire each night as free firewood is provided. Covered parking is also a plus with a heated garage with remote access for security. We have enjoyed the well stocked and furnished condo for the past three years and will come back each year for January/February skiing, shoping , and dining. Well worth the price we pay.
