About this property
Walk to Lifts and Town
Der Steiermark is ideally located approximately 100 yards from the Peak 9 base area, and only half a block off Main Street on the mountain side. We are right on the Blue River and you access the Riverwalk right out our back door. Our location is very convenient to the Quicksilver ski lift and ice skating at the Village, and all restaurants and shops in Breckenridge. Our favorite Mexican restaurant, MiCasa, is located on our first floor; along with Blue River Sports for all your skiing, boarding and biking rentals.
We have internet access, outdoor hot tub, locked heated garage with elevator; and we completed an extensive facade remodel a few years ago. There are nice views from the balcony and we have woodburning fireplaces. My one bedroom loft with one bath has a queen in the downstairs bedroom, and a queen and two twins in the large loft. It is nicely decorated, comfortable and very affordable as you can tell from the rates.

The place was perfect for what we needed. Great location. Easy check in & out. Owner was very easy to communicate with and always had timely responses.
This was a great place for a solo ski trip to Breckenridge. The location is very close to Main Street and a short walk to the lift. The unit is very nice. The loft provided some extra room for family who stayed a couple nights.

Breck great as always!!!
Easy to get anywhere on foot if you choose...
Walking distance to lifts and town, location couldn't be more convienient. Very comfortable well appointed kitchen, lots of space with comfortable beds. Furniture and carpet quite worn but overall good value for money. Loft area was a bonus. Would definitely stay there again.
We love the location for the easy access to Main Street and the short walk to the Quick Silver Lift. The proximity to the restaurant MiCasa and to the ski rental at the family owned Blue River Sports is an added bonus.
The apartment is spacious with an authentic, cosy 1970s style.
We plan to come back!
Easy to town and walk to lifts. Space was clean and easy to access. Owner was responsive. Is it luxury living? No. But it is clean, plenty of space and location is truly spectacular for skiers.
Fantastic location, especially for skiing and access to down town. Property is a bit out dated and could use TLC/Updates.
Overall we were very happy considering location and price. Manager/Owner was very responsive to our needs/requests.
It may not be the newest, largest, or most updated condo in Breck, but I've never found a good condo in such a perfect location for such a great price as this. Unless you're planning on spending your entire vacation sitting around inside a condo, this place can't be beat for the price. Walking distance to all my favorite restaurants, private parking garage, great view from balcony, perfect for what I needed for my vacation.
The location of this property is perfect. Easy walking distance to the slopes. Amenities provided were very nice. Enough dishes, pots, pans, etc. The crock pot was a plus. Some spices were also on hand. Appliances are a little dated but everything worked. Enjoyed our stay!
Condo is perfect size for my extended stay 2+weeks. Its close to everything you need, or want to do. Owner was very responsive and great to interact with. Kitchen had everything I needed, the coffee grinder was great so coffee was always fresh. I will stay again for sure.
While not ski in/ski out, it is a short walk to the slopes. The unit was spotless upon arrival. The beds were very comfortable. For two of us it was more than adequate. I think any more than 4 people would be a bit tight especially with one bathroom. In terms of noise, being right in the heart of everything sometimes it was a noisy but never a problem. We would love to return.
This a fully stocked condo within walking distance of everything you could want to do in Breckenridge! My husband skied for six days while I shopped, read and looked at the view, and enjoyed every minute. We went to the hot tub in the evenings, and while it is small, it wasn't too crowded to find at least a little open time. If I ever had a question the host was very quick to respond. The kitchen has everything you need!
This is a perfect location if you want a smaller sized place to stay right in the south end of town. Restaurants, bars, shopping and coffee shops are right out the door.
There is a single bathroom, a bedroom downstairs and a large loft above with a double bed and two single beds. The living area is comfortable and the kitchen has most everything you will need. There is a small balcony with a couple of chairs for sitting outside overlooking the street and to the west Peaks 8, 9 and 10.
The unit is older but had everything we expected based on the written description and photos. I would stay here again.
