I've lived in Breckenridge since 1976, and I'm a realtor/investor. River Mountain Lodge was my complete renovation project worthy to be seen on HGTV! Everything was removed from the property to the drywall, and all new deluxe finishes installed. Good Value!

Property is very well located for downtown Breckenridge. Apparently recent remodel is first class. Unit is small but great for a couple. Appreciated detailed instructions from owner. Only downside is that unit is on second of three floors and building walls and ceilings have no soundproofing. It was a downer to experience the annoyance of hammering, power sanding, heavy vacuuming and pounding of footsteps from surrounding units, even into the late night on one occasion, although the Owner would obviously not have any control of these activities. We particularly enjoyed discovering the fishing trails along the Blue River south of downtown. We would stay there again and take our chances on the noises.

Nice condo for 2. Great location for enjoying the town of Breckenridge.

We enjoyed our weekend in this condo. We aren't skiers, so can't speak if this is a great location for skiers, but for a get away to the town of Breckenridge, this location is awesome. Easy and close walk to downtown and Main Street. We didn't need to use the free public shuttle, but it appeared it would easily take you anywhere you needed to go. The condo is very nice and in excellent condition. It is very clean, well appointed with a comfortable bed. It is the perfect size for a two people.

We really enjoyed staying at this condo. Perfect location & so convenient to leave your car parked & walk out the door to shops, restaurants, & everything else in downtown Breck. It is updated with all new finishes & is so nice! Loved it! We will definitely stay at this property again.

Great stay!

Loved the condo, not only has it been totally updated ( they made great use out of the space they have), but the owner supplied everything needed. Extra toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, body wash, etc. And the location could not have been better. You walked downstairs and outside, crossed the River and walked 1/2 block to historic Main St. We loved it and would stay there again!

Sweet little condo in a "quirky" building.

We enjoyed this condo. It was just right for our 3 day stay, nicely appointed, and the location couldn't be beat. We parked our car in the underground garage and didn't drive again until we left. Situated right on the Blue River we had the soothing sounds of the rushing water and convenience of being just a block off Main St. and steps away from the river walk.

The building itself, however, has some drawbacks. There is minimal sound insulation, and we had what sounded like a herd of elephants on the floor above us from morning till night for most of the weekend. There were also certain times it took at least 5 minutes to get hot water. Not a big deal, but a sad waste of this precious resource. Hopefully the new (we were told) management of the complex will address those issues.

Owner's Response: I have reported to the building manager the hot water problem. I have never had this complaint before, so I'm sure they will fix whatever the problem is. If the people upstairs sound like a herd of elephants, you can always call the front desk and ask them to speak to the tenants to tone it down as the desk is open 24 hours a day.
