Perfect place with a perfect view!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was the perfect little getaway. Amazing loft bedroom and an amazing view from the porch! When I pulled in, the people staying at the cabin next door asked if they could go up on the porch to take some pictures because it had a better view than theirs. Jealous! I think I spent most of my time out there!

It was very private without feeling like you were all alone in the woods somewhere. It's also only about 10 minutes from the park entrance without having to fight through a lot of tourist traffic. I was there the week of Labor Day so it wasn't quite as crowded. Perfect time to go!

I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent getaway!

What a great view! And a nice private, peaceful porch to view it from. The cabin was clean and well furnished. We enjoyed the hot tub overlooking that gorgeous view. And the convenience to Cades Cove was a real plus for us.

Alice was gracious and attentive and easy to work with, making for pleasant renting experience.

The only negatives are that the street is VERY steep and it's difficult to tell at times what is street and what is driveway. We took a couple of wrong turns into drives before finding the cabin. Once there, though, it was worth the effort!

Breathtaking view!

  • 5 of 5

Spacious cabin with gorgeous mountain views. It's located close to everything: Cades Cove, Piegon Forge, etc. The view overlooking the valley provided a beautiful firefly show and finished off with a star lit evening. The adventure getting up to the cabin is worth the gorgeous view. Thank u Alice for sharing your lovely cabin.

The view sold us and did not disappoint.

  • 5 of 5

All the vacation amenities you could ask for sitting on a hillside overlooking the valley. The large windows on the west facing side provide great views at dawn and dusk from the king size bed. Skip the cable box and flat screen, read a book on the deck's rocking chairs while the sun sets behind the mountains.

If you're a flatlander, be prepared for your vehicle to make noises you've likely never heard on the way up the private drive.

Thanks Alice!

Very quiet and relaxing and beautiful.

Everything went smoothly. It truly met our need for a

Restful retreat. I would recommend to others. One suggestion is a few more supplies in the kitchen. For example there was no dish soap, sponges, wash cloths etc. so we could not do dishes other than the dishwasher. Minor issue.
