Enjoy all that Breckenridge has to offer in this great condo with awesome views of Park Avenue.
EASILY ACCESSIBLE: We are located 50 yards from the intersection of Main Street and Park Avenue. Once you arrive, you can park your car in our free, heated parking garage.... and you don't need to drive again until you leave (unless you want to take a short drive to the Jack Nicklaus-designed Breckenridge Golf Club, the award-winning Breckenridge distillery, or perhaps a scenic mountain drive on a sunny day). The unit can be easily reached by elevator, as well as a corner stair case immediately adjoining our unit.
LOCATION: The location is perfect, especially if you want easy access to skiing, shopping, dining, nightlife, and people-watching. Enjoy the great mountain views, as well as the relaxing sounds of the running creek from the balcony while drinking a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail as the sun sets. You'll be 175 yards from the Quick Silver lift at the base of Peak 9. Start off your day with a 1-minute walk to grab some coffee or a delicious breakfast at a French bakery. If you feel like skiing, we have two ski shops in our building so you can be on the lift as soon as it opens. After a day of skiing, you can relax in the on-site hot tub, enjoy a margarita at Mi Casa restaurant downstairs, or take a short walk to enjoy happy hour at one of the numerous restaurants or bars. There are all kinds of options when it comes to dining, from casual to formal, from burgers and pizza to Italian, Mexican, Cajun, or Czech.
OUR CONDO: This is a studio loft corner unit located on the 2nd floor, and it is a two-level floorplan. The unit sleeps four (possibly five, but might be crowded) and is perfect for a family trip, a group trip, or a romantic getaway. The loft bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed, as well as a full closet. The downstairs living room has a comfortable full-sized futon, a 42' LED TV with cable, a fireplace, and access to our private balcony. The kitchen is fully-equipped with an oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, and a bar area with seating for three. The full bathroom is updated. A laundry facility is located on the same floor.

Our condo is within a short walk of numerous excellent restaurants, bars, shops, and outdoor activities. It is also a 2-minute walk to the ski lift at the base of Peak 9.

About the owner: I live in Denver with my wife and two daughters. We love living in Colorado, and we especially cherish our place in Breckenridge. I am an avid golfer and skier, and our family loves exploring Colorado.
Why the Owner Chose Historic District, Breckenridge, CO, USA:
I've loved Breckenridge since my first visit in the summer of 2007. The skiing, sledding, hiking, golf, and numerous other outdoor activities make it a perfect place to enjoy every season. We really love our condo at Der Steiermark because of the location and the warm, embracing atmosphere it provides.... it feels like home, yet we're surrounded by some amazing restaurants, local shops, bars/breweries, and amazing scenery. We can walk to the Peak 9 base ski lift (Quick Silver) in 1-2 minutes. At the end of the day, we can take a 1-2 minute walk to enjoy great food: Italian, Mexican, Cajun, burgers, and anything else we crave. More than anything, our condo is a welcoming place where memories are made. It's great to 'people-watch' on the balcony while enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail as the sun sets. Our place has a lot of character, in my opinion, and I hope you will agree.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
There are many things that jumped out to me when we first saw our condo (we made an offer that same night). When we walked in, I first noticed the view through the condo and out to Park Avenue. I immediately had a feeling of warmth and relaxation. As we walked in, we noticed the craftsmanship. We got a 'log cabin in the middle of the city' vibe. We then noticed the welcoming kitchen, bar, and fireplace as we walked toward the living room. As we looked upstairs, I thought to myself that it would be great to buy this condo and be able to enjoy it for years with my wife and daughters. It's hard to put into words, but life just feels right when I'm with my family in our Breckenridge condo. We were very blessed to be able to buy this place, and we are very happy to share it with others. We hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do!
