This is a fantastic ski in/ski out Paradise Condo that is family and pet friendly and steps from the slopes. The complex is a well maintained property and hosts an outside hot tub with amazing views. This 4 bedroom condo has a separate bathroom for every bedroom.
The condo is on the 3rd floor and is 2 floors. The kitchen/living/dining area is on the main floor along with the master bedroom and Jr. master bedroom. The master has a king bed, a television, an en suite bathroom, as well as access to the deck. The Jr. Master has a king bed as well with a full bath accessed just outside the door of the bedroom from the hallway.
The living room has a comfortable sectional couch as well as a gas fireplace to warm up after a day on the slopes. Enjoy a bit of relaxation time by watching the large flatscreen tv which also has a dvd player. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need. Dining space is for 6 with additional bar seating. You can also access the deck from the living room and the gas grill. The deck views are exceptional of Whetstone Mtn and up Washington Gulch.
The 2nd floor of the condo has a loft area with a tv and a pullout couch. On this floor you will find 2 more bedrooms, each with 2 sets of twins and each with their own bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a television.
Enjoy a nice soak in the community hot tub after a day playing in the area.
You also have use of a 1 car garage. The garage cannot accomodate cars with rooftop boxes unfortunately. Parking is limited to 2 cars.
To access the slopes, you simply walk out the side door of your bldg, walk behind the San Moritz condo where there is an easement for you and ski down to the Westwall Lift.
The 6th night free promotion is available year round. N/A Xmas/New Years, President's Weekend, Spring Break, 4th of July week or Arts Fair.
A well behaved pet is welcome! This condo is on the free shuttle route which will take you to the base area.
The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, excepting children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian.
4 adults and 3 kids enjoyed the ski in and ski out access to a day of races at the Prater Cup. Shall return.
This was a lovely condo with amazing mountain views! For my first trip to Crested Butte, this home away from home made for a truly enjoyable stay. Tons of room to accommodate 7 adults very comfortably with private bathrooms and bedrooms for all of us. The deck/patio added even more space to enjoy the outdoors and fresh air. The kitchen was fully stocked which made for some enjoyable cooking and meals. GREAT location.
We loved our stay at this condo. It has the most amazing views of the mountains. It is clean, comfortable and has all of the amenities we needed to spend a great weekend. Eight of u went up there but because of the 4 bathrooms, we all had privacy and it didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The condo is very spacious and open with a wonderful patio where we grilled a couple of nights.
I can't wait to go again!
We really enjoyed our stay here! Unit was in great shape and had everything we needed... Kitchen had all the implements we needed and you can't argue with 4 bathrooms!!
This might be a great place for young adults, sharing a condo in the winter time. I don't believe we would request this unit again. The unit was rough and outdated. Example: Holes in the bathroom I door fixed with a square piece of wood. Door knobs about to fall off and the doors weren't level, so difficult to open and close. The unit is not very good for young children. The slate table top was dangerous for children and we removed it from the living room during our stay. The first night I was awoken by a 'drunk' man on the roof attempting to get into his friends condo without a key, and I had to talk him down off the roof; this is not the condo's fault, but it was our experience. Ventilation was not good, the family that had the inside rooms were extremely hot and uncomfortable at night, even with fans. Remember summer time in CB can be warm and their is no AC in most units. The washer/dryer set up was extremely difficult to use. They are located in the kitchen, stacked, unable to lift the washer lid up, and the dryer vent blows out in the kitchen area, so the dryer can only be run at night. The beds were so hard that we went to Walmart and purchased mattress covers that had some foam in them. The price of the condo is reflected in what I described above. Because it is upstairs, it might be difficult for 'flat land-ers' and the "over 55 years old", unless they are in shape and without physical limitations. All in all, it was a roof over our head and we enjoyed our family time together. The condo had decent views of mountains, just not of CB mountain. We loved having the bus stop below the condo, because they never started their car. They found it to be wonderful and loved the hiking trails in the area, and really enjoyed the hot tub. There are many nicer units on the mountain, but chances are we would have paid a lot more for those units.
stayed 4 nights Fri-Tues, late February. garage was convenient 2 flights of stairs up and you're home. nice storage locker and bench for skis/boots/poles. kitchen is ample, washer/dryer was convenient, nice big kitchen table with plenty of seating. big balcony with one room that is walkout onto. 4 rooms, 2 rooms downstairs have kings upstairs has loft space and 2 rooms with 2 beds each. 4 bathrooms was crazy convenient. don't have to walk all the way down to garage to ski in/out. just go down the hall and one set of small stairs at end of hallway. super convenient. had a blast, hot tub was community and wasn't really working/actually hot until last day. oh well. would highly recommend, hope to come back in summer would definitely stay again and was better than past 2 vrbo's we've stayed at.
Paradise Condos is considered a Ski in/out property. You are just a few steps away from the Westwall lift which is accessed by walking just behind the San Moritz Condos. A car is recommended although there is a bus stop about a 1/4 mile away.
