Amazing Vacation Experience!

We had an amazing 5 day stay at this property, Bill the property manager was there when we arrived & lived close by to the home and responded immediately to any questions or issues we had. The "pond" was the biggest hit with the kids, they loved swimming, fishing, kayaking, etc., & the home itself was large enough to accommodate our family. We would absolutely stay at this property again! So much to do in the Door County area is another bonus to this location!!

William was very helpful! He came over quickly to help with issues such as the air conditioning and broken door handle. He even delivered fire wood for the fire pit! We would love to stay again and try William's half of the duplex! He was great to work with!

July 4th Week

This was the perfect stay for our family. Bill was amazing! He was friendly and available. He was also really helpful in terms of activities for the kids. He took us out for the fireworks on his boat, and it was absolutely amazing. The house and property are in perfect location with plenty to do and plenty of space. We recommend this house for a fantastic summer getaway.

Sturgeon Bay duplex

This is not a good area for fishing and not ideal for tubing or skiing due to large boats going through the channel to Lake Michigan. To get to the best fishing you need to go through about 2 miles of no wake area through the town. Also the swimming pond had blue die in it which was a little concerning. There were some repairs and replacements needed which in my opinion should not be the case for a rental charging as much per night as this one did. All that being said, we did enjoy the property and had a good time as a family.

Port Haven North

Beautiful well placed on water. Swimming pond with fish to catch and release. Lots of amenities. We had 4 individuals that were on a work vacation. The internet was practically non existent making it difficult to work remotely.

Door County wedding

This was an amazing weekend for my wife, family, friends and I. We had a 60 guest wedding in the property backyard. The location and property are perfect for a small wedding venue. The property owner/manager Bill was amazing. I can't say enough!

Beautiful TownHouse, clean and family friendly

you are a family of six adults and four children. The whole family enjoyed the entire property. A pond was great to swim in and all four children caught fish.

Great location, kid friendly

Very spacious with many places to gather indoors and outdoors. Also little extras including kids toys and water toys. Host was responsive and on property frequently to assist as needed. The property itself is a town home so you do share a wall and some outdoor space with your neighbors.

Family Fun

Great location and secure private getaway. Kids & all enjoyed the fishing, boating and swimming in the private pond. The fire pit was a great gathering place. Cool sunsets over the bay.

Paradise

We absolutely loved our visit. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. The properties location was so beautiful with the bay behind the house, and the pond in front. The pond provided a perfect place to swim/ float. The homes owner was so kind and helpful. He even took us out for a pontoon afternoon. Excellent!!

Epic Stay at PortHaven North

This is a perfect location for a large family get together. The pond on the property was wonderful for swimming and fishing which was enjoyed by both children and adults. Bill is an outstanding host, all you had to do was ask and he would accommodate your request. He was available if you needed something but not intrusive in anyway. This is the perfect spot and the gateway to Door County!

Great property!

We had a lovely stay - great location and amenities...especially for our kids (age range 4-10). They especially enjoyed the swimming pond and playing football and frisbee on the giant lawn! The lakefront was very peaceful - we loved paddle boarding and kayaking and watching the big boats pass by! Special thanks to Bill for being a very responsive host!

Getaway for the 4th

We had an AWESOME time!!! The property was beautiful and VERY clean!!!! Bill was AMAZING, he suggested great places to eat in town and was always there if we had questions or needed anything!!!! We’re probably going to book again next year! It was our first time as extended family booking a trip together and because of this experience…..it definitely won’t be our last! Thanks Bill and the Port Haven Team!!

Could not have been better! Wonderful host!

I can't begin to describe the wonderful time we had. The home is impeccably clean inside and out. The living space is huge, there was room to play board games, watch soccer and dance! The kitchen area was well stocked and the dining room seated all eight of us comfortably with room for more at the island. The patio was a delight it was wildly entertaining to see the variety of boats passing by on the water. The pond in the back was a complete bonus, we sat in the sun, enjoyed the kayaks and little boat. Seriously something for each of us. There is a grill, readily available and a fire pit where we closed a few of our nights, there is wood for purchase from the property manager. It was awesome to have Bill nearby, it has saddened me with the popularity of VRBO that the home manager sends you a code to your stay and then you don't meet them at all. So it was a nice surprise to meet Bill and get his feedback about the wonderful uniqueness of Door county. All of the people we encountered were super hospitable at the restaurants, the shops and pubs. We had a great time in Door county and returning to the property after our adventures was like a dream.

We are natives to Door County who are good friends of the former owner of this property, when his cottage was damaged in a fire we joined up together and started construction of the two units on this 3 acre plot.

For 10 years we've been coming to sturgeon bay for anything from snowmobiling to fishing or just relaxing by the fire on the beach; its on the end od a road in a private setting with three other homes ; there' water in front and back, the bay out front and a beach on the pond in back; swimming or boating all around you.
