Charming apartment

This is the most charming hideaway to enjoy Paris. The location is wonderful with Metro stations close by and a plethora of cafes and shops. Daniel was wonderful to work with and excellent communicating with us.

We are a couple who stayed at this property for 10 days in November. Daniel is a great host. He met us upon our arrival, showed us the ropes, promptly left us to enjoy everything, and made the exit easy. The property is described accurately, quiet, has a lift, and is in a good location for exploring the Marais (near the Picasso Museum). Great apartment in the Marais

We very much enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The apartment is perfect for a couple visiting Paris. It is comfortable, and located within walking distance of many tourist attractions in central Paris, and a short walk to metro stops to reach other areas.

Annual return

Our second year in a row and just as good if not better than last year. As indicated in last years review, we have visited Paris annually for years. The location, comfort, cleanliness of the apartment and hospitality of the host outpaces any other place we have stayed. We will return once again next year.

Charming and beautiful apartment

We adored this apartment, so well located and appointed with the highest quality furnishings and linens. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen. It was a pleasure to meet the owners daughter, and correspond directly with the owner - a nice personal touch very different from dealing with a management company. We felt like guests in a friends home We look forward to coming back. Highly recommend.

We lived like locals

The apartment’s amenities made us feel at home. All we needed was in walking distance. We shopped at the markets and were able to enjoy their amazing products in her apartment. Perfect stay in Le Marais

We adored this apartment. The layout was perfect for the two of us. Daniel was a conscientious and welcoming host. As described, the apartment was located on an upper floor and filled with sunlight. This was a fabulous apartment in a fabulous neighborhood. Easy access to the Metro, to the museums, to restaurants and to food shops. We walked basically everywhere -- though most people might not want to do that but it was doable and enjoyable. Liked the vibe of the neighborhood and the brightness and organization of the apartment. Owner very gracious.

Compact and comfortable apartment in excellent location!

This affordable apartment had absolutely everything we needed for a wonderful 8 day visit to Paris. Although small, it is well designed, with plenty of storage and closet space, and the big windows let in plenty of light. We had to arrange for a late arrival, and Daniel’s daughter Maureen kindly met us there to orient us and provide the keys. Daniel has compiled a comprehensive resource binder with helpful info about the apartment and the neighborhood. We highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful Apartment in Le Marais

This apartment is perfect for a long stay. Daniel, the owner, is the most welcoming host. He's provided everything to make yourself at home and was excellent in communicating with us both before we arrived and checking to make sure we were settled. His recommendations on local eateries were spot on. Merci beaucoup Daniel. The location is wonderful, easy walk to the Franprix market, restaurants, boulangerie, Metro and bus lines. The apartment is half a block from the Picasso Museum as well as other great museums we had not yet seen. We will definitely stay here on future visits to Paris!

The Perfect Place to Stay in Paris!

The apartment was wonderful! The location was perfect for walking to all of our favorite sites. There are great restaurants, cafes, and lots of shopping nearby. The area felt very safe. The apartment had plenty of room and amenities so that all of my needs were met. The bed was so comfortable I slept great every night. Daniel was awesome with the communication and having me greeted upon my arrival. I appreciated the recommendations and tips he left for visitors. It made my 1st trip to Paris one that exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to come back and stay here again! Merci beaucoup!

Wonderful Paris Apartment

We have visited Paris almost annually for the past 20+ years, staying first in hotels and more recently apartments. This experience from meeting Daniel at the apartment, to the location and the apartment itself was first class. The apartment is perfect for 2 people. It is exceptionally clean and well laid out. There is a large shower and plenty of closet space. Overall it is probably the nicest of any of our past lodgings. We will return next year and hopefully many more years in the future. Appartement très beau, très complet, il ne manque ríen, très propre, avec un bon lit, et très calme. Dans un très beau quartier, prés de tout. Souvent on peut aller à pied, sans ça les moyens de transport sont tout à côté, si on ne veut pas marcher. Correspond exactement aux photos. L’anfitrion Daniel facilite beaucoup les choses, il est là quand vous arrivez, et pendant le séjour, vous explique tout et en plus il y a dans l’appartement un classeur avec les bonnes adresses et d’autres choses qu’on peut avoir besoin pendant notre séjour. A First Class Stay!

This property was ideal for so many reasons! First, the apartment itself was "first class" in every way, from the very comfortable and elegant accommodations, ample storage, linens, towels, shower to the stocked kitchen with every type of utensil, dishes and more. For a small apartment, Daniel made use of every nook and cranny and provided more than enough space for luggage and clothing for a week long stay. The location was perfect in the beautiful Marais district right near the Picasso Museum, galleries, patisseries, cafes and bistros. Daniel was incredibly attentive from the start, initiating contact via email to offer directions from the airport, asking how he could provide beverages for our comfort when we arrived and then meeting us outside the apartment to show us into the building. He was such a generous host to provide us with 2 bottles of French wine upon our arrival! He was also very thoughtful to check on us to see if we needed anything after we settled in. I would highly recommend this property to anyone coming to Paris for a vacation. Le Marais district is the place to be and Daniel is the impeccable host! Merci beaucoup Daniel for a truly wonderful stay!

Perfect Place to Stay in the Marais

The apartment is close the the Picasso Museum, thus central to the Marais. This apartment also has the owner’s personal signature, not like some of the apartments that are serviceable yet cold.

products in many places like the Galeries Lafayettes in Paris or Henry Bendel in New York. And before she was a buyer for a chain of department stores.
I managed my own restaurant in Paris for 30 years, called " Le Volant ", which is still working.

Why they chose this property

Since we are retired, we share out time between Paris and a nice village in the Pays Basque, South west of France, called Guéthary near Biarritz. And when we leave Paris, we rent our place and we are happy to share an apartment that we have decorated , first for us, but also with the desire to make it as elegant and confortable as possible for those who trust us and want to stay for a while in it.
