Pelican Beach resort is a family friendly complex! Voted the #2 best beach in Florida! by southern Living Magazine. Not surprisingly, the water is an awesome blue green color that the gulf is famous for. My condo, 'BABS BEACH' Condo, is a premium condo on the 18th floor. What a fabulous view!. Tile floors throughout. you can have your morning coffee on the balcony and look at the sugar white sandy beach and the brilliant aquamarine water. See the sunrise, watch the dolphin play, see pelicans dive, and the manatee swim. At night, look left and see the colored lights of the city of Destin. This condo has the best views in Destin.
AND OF COURSE......WIFI!!
Two bedrooms, both with private baths. Master has a king bed and guest bedroom has a queen. Both bedrooms have private baths. Master bedroom has a tub/shower. Guest bedroom has a walk in shower. Both bedrooms have flat screen tvs. As well as a flat screen tv in the living area. Master bedroom has sliding screen doors to the balcony. Sleep to the sounds of the ocean! The updated kitchen is fully equipped. Just bring the chef! The dining area seats 6 and the two bar stools add two more quests. The loving area is quite spacious with floor length mirrors to enhance the view! the pull out couch has a queen mattress. All the comforts of home!

Arrival is easy! No waiting to check in. Go right to the elevator to the 18th floor. There is an electronic lock with a numeric code. I will provide the code as your dates approaches. Don't worry about loosing your keys at the beach. For security ...no one has the code but you! The code changes with each guest and will change when you leave. So take everything when you leave. You won't be able to get back in!

This unit was exactly as advertised. It did not disappoint. We would definitely stay here again! The views from the front door and the balcony were both amazing. From the balcony you can see the sunrise and the front door you can see the sunset. Let’s not forget the tiki bar because we made lots of trips to it for great beach day food and frozen drinks!

The Pelican Beach has everything to offer. A heated pool that runs indoors and outdoors. A large outdoor pool, kiddie pool, sauna, hot tub, large tanning deck, tiki hut bar, seasonal restaurant and convenient store, work out room, game room, tennis courts, gas grills, and covered parking. Oh, and did I mention THE BEACH?? There is also a beach service with chairs and umbrellas for rent. and oh, I think I did mention the beach!! Voted the best beach in Florida.

What makes this property unique

The complex, Pelican Beach Resort, is right across the street from the Big Kuhuna Water Park. The area offers lots of treats! Harbor walk Village, Henderson State Park, museums, zoo, Gulf Aquarium and Living Sea, theater complex, Silver Sands Factory outlet mall, Destin commons outdoor shopping mall, Hard Rock Café, Bass Pro Shop, Johnny Rockets, and lots of designer upscale shopping and great golf courses. There is lots of great entertainment in the area!

The area offers water parks, water sports rentals, para sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, power boating, dolphin tour boats, fishing, tennis, golfing, and beautiful beaches with emerald colored water!.
