Villa Turquesa sijaitsee yksityisessä ympäristössä, joka sijaitsee syrjässä valkoisen hiekkarannan päässä. Täynnä avoimia ja ilmavia sisätiloja, tämä kaunis huvila on paljon tarjottavaa perheelle tai suurelle ryhmälle.

Kiinteistö sijaitsee Etelä Acumalin rauhallisella aidatulla alueella, joka sijaitsee vain yhden ja puolen kilometrin päässä Akumalin ravintoloista, putiikeista, sukellusliikkeistä ja muista palveluista etelään. Etelä-Akumal on tunnettu puolikuunmuotoisesta valkoisesta hiekkarannastaan ja hiekkarannasta, joka sopii erinomaisesti sekä uintiin että snorklaukseen.

Villa Turquesa -hotelli on duplex-tyylinen koti, jossa päärakennus vasemmalla puolella ja kaksi vierasta oikeanpuoleista taloa, toisiaan vastapäätä.

3500 m²: n päähuvila on avoin ja ilmava ja tarjoaa keskeytymättömän näköalan rannalle ja Karibianmerelle. Päätason avoin, suuret avoimet rakenteet korostavat valtavat merinäkymät, ja ne on suunniteltu helpottamaan helppoa ja saumatonta kulkua tärkeimmistä oleskelutiloista uima-altaan, patio- ja aurinkoterassin ja sitten hiekkarannalle ja hellävarainen turkoosi -vesille.

Main Villa on kaksi tasoa. Alemmalla tasolla on täydellinen keittiö, jossa on nykyaikaiset kodinkoneet, ruokailu- ja oleskelualueet, joissa on mukavat istuimet. Tästä tasosta askel ulos hyvin varustettu altaan reunalla. Myös alemmalla tasolla on suuri ja yksityinen vierashuone, kalustettu kahdella double / full beds. Vierashuoneessa on ihanat näkymät puutarhaan ja yksityiseen kylpyammeeseen.

Päärakennuksen yläkerroksessa on neljä ylimääräistä makuuhuonetta. Makuuhuoneessa on king-vuode ja oma kylpyhuone, pääsy ylemmälle terassille, josta on kauniit näkymät Karibialle. Kaksi ylimääräistä vierashuonetta sijaitsevat tässä ylätasossa: joista toinen on merinäköalalla ja joista toinen on näköala puutarhaan.

Yläkerran vierashuoneet ovat noin 3 000 neliömetriä ja niissä on 3 makuuhuonetta. Tämä guesthouse pääsee päävaunun ylimmän tason ovesta tai oman ulkoisen portaikon kautta. Alemman tason guesthousessa on 2 muuta makuuhuonetta ja oma sisäänkäynti.

Englantia puhuva omistaja, joka on myös kiinteistöpäällikkö, sijaitsee usein alemmassa guesthousessa, jolloin hän on helposti tavoitettavissa, kun sinulla on kysymys tai pyyntö. Hän on ystävällinen ja mielellään auttaa mitä tarvitset, samalla kunnioittaen yksityisyyttäsi loman aikana.

Wonderful family vacation!

Our family of 15–ages 14 to 80–had a fabulous time at the Villa Turquesa. The home was perfect for a big family. It is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The staff is delightful and kept the place sparkling clean and in perfect working order. There is snorkel equipment and plenty of kayaks to make exploring the reef a pleasure. Our kids and grands said out of 27 years of family trips, this one rates up in the top 3!

Great for multi-age families

Perfect for a family reunion with 7 adults, 2 teens and 4 kids ages 5-10. Private pool and beach at front door kept the kids entertained and busy. Lots of restaurant and shopping options close by. Also, many activities and Mayan archeological sites within a short drive.

Best family vacation spot ever!

Villa Turquesa is absolutely lovely. The beach is beautiful, serene and private. The villa staff are kind, helpful, and extremely diligent. The villa was perfect for our growing family and friends. Relaxation at its best!

We stayed for 4 night. It was a nice relaxing place, away from the city and only a short 25 minutes drive to the next town. Aracely and her cleaning crew were amazing! They do get there around 9AM so be ready to wake up early in order for them to clean your room. The view was amazing and relaxing.

Amazing stay for a family of 16

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. The kitchen, table, and living room were spacious and accommodating. The morning sun and the beautiful sunrises were refreshing, including the splash in the pool. The cleaning crew was amazing, always smiling and flexible. We were so lucky to see three turtles laying eggs - unforgettable for sure! We hired a chef one night and were very, very happy with the food they prepared for us. All 16 of us had a great time. We will definitely come back.

What an amazing property!

We had a group of 12 and this place was perfect for us! Having the pool and ocean and kayaks gave everyone something to do. Our host referred us to a concierge where we hired a driver to take us around in a passenger van. Best money we ever spent! Mario was so knowledgeable about the area and it added so much to our experience. We also hired the private chef on our last day. They were amazing as well! I highly recommend this property and all it has to offer.

Absolutely amazing!

Looking at those pictures thinking “Could it be that good?” Yes, it is absolutely is. House is in a small, gated community (felt very safe) on a picturesque white sand beach. In the water, it is rocky and difficult to walk, but shallow, protected cove is perfect for snorkeling and kayaking (available at house). We saw conch, rays, squid, beautiful fish. Immaculate house was perfect for our group of 15. Each of 8 bedrooms has a bathroom (do not flush toilet paper) and air conditioning. Pool is clean and the perfect temperature. Kitchen has ample cooking supplies but not oil, spices, etc. Drinking water is supplied in 5-gal bottles. Running water is very hard. Bring moisturizing soap. Wonderful house staff come daily. Plan to tip them 2 each (or equiv. pesos), per person in the party, per day. We were delighted by their services. They will do laundry for 8 per load. Closest restaurant, Jungle Fish Beach Club, is 10 min walk on beach (excellent, reasonably priced, fantastic drinks; try the caipirinha and tamarindo mezcalita). 20 min more is the heart of the resorts, with restaurants, shops, and turtle snorkeling trips (well worth it). Akumal Concierge Services manages the property and books airport rides, private chefs, excursions. Safe, friendly drivers; wonderful food. Book van with driver for a day to see Tulum ruins, cenotes. If renting a car: parking is limited. Taxi service is in Akumal; public vans along the highway go to Akumal or Tulum for 50 pesos.

Amazing Family Holiday

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a wonderful stay. Guests ranged in age from 78-11. There was something for everyone to do. The House looked exactly like the photos with the exception of one room but it was nothing g detrimental. The largest issue we had was the water turning off. This happened at least 2, maybe 3 times while we were there. There also were not enough towels considering the amount of people we had. However, I would definitely rent this space again

Great Place to Stay!

There were issues but most could not be helped. June is not a good time to visit Mexico....just too hot and there is no air conditioning in the main area. The seaweed? Well, no one can control nature. They tried their best to clean it up; it was hopeless. Some of our group made it out to reef for some good snorkeling. The pool was WONDERFUL for the kids! The staff was friendly and did their best to make our stay enjoyable. We have stayed in houses before and it would have been nice to have stocked the kitchen with basic spices and cooking needs. We had to buy EVERYTHING and, of course, didn't use it up. Cookware was very adequate for our needs for 14 people. The toaster oven was hard to figure out....a toaster would be nice. Bedrooms and bathrooms were wonderful! The supply of snorkeling gear was more than I expected and the beach towels were a wonderful bonus! All in all I would recommend this house for a stay in south Akumal. There are plenty of restaurants if you like to eat out and the grocery stores weren't too far away. You can do Coba, Chitzen Itza, several cenaotes and relax around the house. I'm not sure this was the best choice for snorkeling because the reef was quite far out and only accessible to strong swimmers.

A stay in paradise

We really enjoyed our stay in Akumal at Villa Turquesa. The view from this house is exceptional and the amount of outdoor seating was wonderful. The housekeeping staff, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the well equipped kitchen all contributed to a memorable stay. The fact that turtles nest on the beach (during our stay) made for an even more memorable visit. Future visitors will want to be sure to understand that ONLY the bedrooms are air conditioned. We were not accustomed to the heat and humidity so that element made for a more challenging visit. The cieling fans were helpful but it was too hot indoors to want to cook on the stove top. They do have 2 refrigerators which was very helpful with one keeping food cold and the other drinks. There was plenty of bottled water and we used that same water for ice cubes - so that worked well. The water pressure was very low in the main house and difficult to get a truly hot shower - just a slightly warm shower. The guest house occupants said they had hot water - so who knows. The staff were helpful and not at all obtrusive. (They were very helpful!) The master bedroom door is warped and has to be slammed/muscled into close - especially to keep the AC inside. This made for a noisy opening and closing - which was less than ideal with small kids sleeping in the next room. However, the kids room had a bunch of great toys, books, etc. Highly recommend just be prepared for the heat & humidity! :)

Family vacation (12 adults and 4 kids)

I booked the whole place (8 rooms) for a group of 16. We were attracted by the location and the fact that each room has its own bathroom. The listing pictures are outdated and the place wasn’t well maintained but it was fairly clean. Most of the window frames are rusty and are in need of a coat of paint. Starting with the kitchen and living room, the furniture is old and many cabinet doors are falling apart. There is no A/C in the common areas, only the rooms have individual A/C units. There is a mosquito-screen to access the pool area and it is falling apart and doesn’t close properly. The pool is smaller than I expected (judging by the pictures in the listing) and the water was cloudy. The pool lighting didn’t work and one of the lamps inside the pool was broken and hanging from the cables. The lounge chairs are very old, low quality, and uncomfortable. There is a palm tree next to the pool where the kids were hanging out most of the time. A coconut fell from the palm tree and hit one of the guests (luckily not on the head). We told the owner and he cut the coconuts the next day. The beach was covered in sargazo (seaweed) and there was some trash (cups, plastic) stuck in it. It was sargazo season in the area and although there was a crew cleaning it, there was too much of it and it smelled like rotten eggs. This is not the owner’s fault. When we checked-in, there was no one there to greet us. Once we found their number in the welcome book, the owner came to greet us. The rooms were spacious and clean. For the price point, I was hoping better decor and storage space. Three closets were locked or full of stuff and we couldn’t put our clothes in them. The room doors in the villa next to the main house are in bad shape and need oil in the hinges. There are cracks in some of the walls and the whole place could use a good coat of paint. One of the water handles in the shower of the master bedroom in the second Villa was broken and fell apart. The shower drain was clogged when we arrived but the owner took care of it as soon as we told him. There was a cleaning crew that arrived every day early to clean the house. For what we paid for the place I had higher expectations. With a small investment this place could be much better. It would be great to have some outdoor speakers we could connect via Bluetooth, for example. As it is now, I would not come back to this place.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation at Villa Turquesa was mixed feelings. We overall liked the location. However, there are few points needs to be addressed. Good:1-View from the backyard.2-Excellent service by cleaning crews. Always smiling.3-Proximity to the restaurants and shops.4-Owner Claudia was nice and stopped by to introduce herself.Not so Good/Bad:1- We couldn't use the ocean at all because of sea grass, and it smelled very bad at times. If I knew in detail I would have not rented this house.2- There was no AC in the living room area (common area). This is the biggest complain all the family members had because we couldn't sit down in the common area to cheat chat. To us it was a big deal. House was spacious and had plenty of rooms. Pool was small but it is what it is. Overall, for us it wasn't a good fit. But it could be for other people.

Unbelievable location and incredibly nice property. Was there with my bachelor party. Claudia the concierge took extremely good care of us, booking rides to all of our excursions and to and from the airport, setting up a private chefs who shopped, cooked and cleaned for us, and over all being ready to help with whatever we needed. Would highly recommend this place to any large groups looking for a relaxing vacation and to have things taken care of for them.

Hola, nosotros somos una familia de varios hermanos y sus hijos que rentamos la propiedad por 7 días y 6 noches.Las características de la propiedad nos atrajo y fue por ello que nos decidimos rentarla, solo que tuvimos diferentes sorpresas que afectaron nuestra satisfacción y que aquí enlistó.Las habitaciones tienen muebles viejos, las puertas caídas y algunas de ellas no puedes ni cerrarlas, las sábanas ya tienen un desgaste de uso considerable y están manchadas a pesar de que las lavan a diario.El personal de limpieza es ESPECTACULAR Solo 2 de las 8 habitaciones contaron con agua tibia o caliente, las demás nunca funcionaron dejándonos solo con agua fría.Las televisiones tanto de la recámara principal como de la estancia son muy viejas y pequeñas, el servicio de Sky estaba indisponible y se tuvo que reportar para que lo reactivaran.En cuanto a la cocina, las sartenes, las palas para guisar, cucharas etc sumamente desgastados y viejos, toda la comida se quedaba pegada. El refrigerador prácticamente no enfriaba, se reportó y nos dijeron que era porque teníamos muchos alimentos en el, nos dijeron que las latas de cerveza, refresco y demás debían ponerse en una hielera de plástico que dejan ahí y que uno tiene que hacerse responsable de comprar y re abastecer el hielo. Originalmente nos dijeron que habían 2 refrigeradores y no fue así.La casa no refleja lo que las fotografías hacen creer.Nuestra experiencia fue por debajo de lo esperado.

Wonderful Ocean View with Constant Breeze

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really loved this large house (sleeps 20) in a secluded spot just South of Akumal. Beautiful views, clear water but a little rocky. Seaweed cleaned up most every day. Cleaning crew was Fantastic! Both refrigerators struggle to keep food and beverages cold as their is no AC in the main living area. All bedrooms except large Master stayed very cool! Had most needed amenities except spices and condiments. Beach was nice and the place is close to restaurants and a gas station.

Our group has been traveling together for 10 years and we love Akumal. Villa Turquesa is a great place to stay to get away from cold and snow. While you’re there, get a massage on the patio. They were great and Claudia can make the recommendation.

AMAZING!!!

I cannot begin to explain how amazing our stay here was. Communication was top notch and the hosts were incredible. This home is perfect for families a had everything we could have possibly needed. Life jackets, water shoes, high chair, crib, playpen, toys! We will be back!

Wonderful house right on the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Turquesa. The house is so open and airy, and right on the beach. The layout is well thought out. There are lots of fun extras like playing cards, books, dvds, yoga mats, and kayaks. We really enjoyed taking the snorkels out. You can see some cool fish and other sea life snorkeling right in front of the house. The lounge chairs by the pool were perfect for nighttime stargazing while listening to the waves. The kitchen is supplied with all the non-food items you could think of. There is even a highchair, which came in very handy for us. The internet is also great! We had no problems connecting and it’s fast enough for multiple people to stream movies at the same time if you want. The location is perfect! You can walk about 25 minutes along the beach to akumal restaurants, or about a 4 minute drive. Tulum is about a 20 minute drive. We cooked some meals at the house and went to akumal or tulum for others. The house is a short drive from many cenotes. The staff were great! They are so friendly and did a wonderful job keeping the house clean. The 24 hour security is nice plus. We had our baby with us and we always felt safe. I highly recommend this place!The only thought I have would be to switch out some of the bright white light bulbs for warmer ones for a more chill vibe in the evenings.

Perfect for the whole family

We stayed at Villa Turquesa with our entire family including babies, kids, teens, spouses and partners and it offered something for everyone. The location right on the beach made it simple to watch the sunrise in the morning and enjoy the sound of the waves. The pool was big enough for us to float around in and the kids loved it. With direct sunlight in the morning and early afternoon, it offered a nice shaded place in the hot afternoon, with some areas shaded at all times which were nice for the babies. The sargassum seaweed didn't bother us, maybe due to the wind and the groundskeepers carting away large amounts in the morning. Entering the sea is a bit rocky, but not difficult and there was decent snorkeling with quite a bit of different fish species and little holes/caves to explore. The kayaks were also a nice activity. The rooms were comfortable and had AC, with some of the larger rooms taking a bit longer to cool. Each room having its own bathroom was a nice luxury with so many families sharing one house. The housecleaners were friendly and there every day from after breakfast to early afternoon and kept the place very clean. Sometimes we had to plan around that with our babies nap times or cooking lunch but it wasn't a big deal. The groundskeepers also did a great job cleaning up the pool every day and responded quickly to our request to cut down some of the coconuts that were hanging over the pool after one had fallen down. Overall a great experience!

A Great Rental Property

We stayed at Villa Turquesa the last part of May 2023 for 7 nights. Our group consisted of 13 adults - 5 couples and three singles. Each couple or single was able to enjoy their own room and bathroom. The property is in a very safe, quiet neighborhood, just steps from the beach. The staff did a great job cleaning up the seaweed each day and it was never a problem. We hired a chef named Martina Jeising who fixed all of our lunches and dinners while we were in the house. Highly recommend her. She and her assistant prepared, served and cleaned up after each meal. It was so nice to eat great food and not have to leave the house. We had a couple of small maintenance issues that were both resolved quickly when we informed the owners. The home is in good shape. It shows normal wear for a beach house. The dining table was huge and we were able to get 13 adults around it comfortably. All bedrooms have AC but there is no AC in the family/dining/kitchen area. It got pretty warm there at times but having the pool right there was a great place to cool off. We walked to Akumal Beach which took about 25 minutes each way. There is not a lot of sand area on the beach but enough to enjoy it. Lots of rocks and coral so make sure you wear water shoes. We snorkeled and kayaked a lot and had a great time. There are two fridges, plenty of bottled water and plenty of dishes and cookware. House had towels and beach towels which we loved having. Would stay here again for sure.

Small Wedding Party

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Villa Turquesa for five days for our small wedding, 13 adults stayed on the property and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was a great setting for our laid back group! The pool was the perfect size and was utilized quite a bit since the sargassum seaweed was so bad. We enjoyed our time there immensely, but were unaware that the cleaning staff would be there from 9:30am until 3:30pm everyday of our stay, they were pleasant and quiet but the amount of cleaning was something I have never experienced in a vacation rental and it didn't seem necessary. The owner left us a note saying we needed to tip $2 per person per day per cleaning staff (three people). A $26 tip per day seems a bit steep for a cleaning tip. I hope that the cleaning staff are being paid through the rental fees we paid, not just the tip. Other than that, great secluded spot away from the hustle and bustle of Cancun/Tulum, nice beach, and good snorkeling!

Wonderful vacation spot

This house was even better than we could have imagined. It was very spacious, very clean, and the view was amazing. The staff was very friendly, they cleaned the sargassum almost every day so it never got too bad in front of the house and we were still able to enjoy the beach. They provided kayaks and snorkeling gear as well which my family all used several times. The concierge was great with giving us advice on places to go as well as helping us with transportation. It was such a beautiful and fun vacation at this house! Highly recommend.
