About Don and Cindy DeLoach
The DeLoach family (Cindy, Don and Skilly) welcome you to Lake City. We are Colorado Springs residents (since 1998) and are third generation Lake City vacationers. We are avid travelers around the mountain towns of Colorado and honestly believe there's no better place than Lake City to spend your family vacation.

Why Don and Cindy DeLoach chose Lake City
The DeLoach Cabin is a step back in time with a firm foot in the present. Steeped in mountain lodge character that predates modern, cookie-cutter rental homes, our cabin combines the best of modern roominess and convenience with rustic features. We've stayed in many older cabins in Lake City and none have this combination of location, roominess and authentic character.
What makes this Cabin unique
Ideally located just 100 feet from Lake San Cristobal and 1/3 mile from the Alpine Loop Scenic byway, Lakeview Estates is covenanted community that is unusually quiet and peaceful. Its just a three-mile drive or bike on paved roads to shops and restaurants in the town of Lake City, an internationally famous Historic District. Our cabin epitomizes the idyllic family vacation in the most remote and beautiful county in the lower 48.

Cozy cabin..great location
This is an old school cabin with comfy living room and all the goodies you need for a vacation.
Nice area outside for enjoying the spectacular lake.
We unloaded our side x sides and rode Alpine Loop all week... no trailering.
Wi Fi was plenty fast and kitchen was functional.
Plenty of parking space for two trucks and trailers.
We will return!
Derek and his family were outstanding guests. Highly recommend them!
We enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed in the cabin.
Great place to relax with family. Saw bear and deer by the lake and rented OHRV' s. What an experience. Scenery was beautiful
This place is overpriced. The dishes were greasy and had not been cleaned well. So we washed the dishes before we used them. We were told that our $200.00 cleaning fee did not include washing dishes, very odd.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry we only earned 3 stars. We would happily have sent the housekeeper over to clean the dishes for you, but we didn't learn about this problem until after you had left. We are always available by cell or text to address such concerns.
This place is awesome!
The cabin is fantastic. It has everything you need and is very comfortable. The location is convenient to the Alpine Loop, which was our primary reason for visiting, and close enough to Lake City to grab a coffee or bite to eat. We used the firepit area each night with great views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
Thanks. What a great place to relax and spend some quiet time with family.
Nice house and so nice to have kayaks and canoes included.
The cabin is in a great location a couple miles south of Lake City. There is lots of parking for ATV's and it's right on the way to the Cinnamon Pass side of the Alpine Loop. Also, It's just a short walk to the lake.
The cabin is perfect for two couples or two couples and several kids. The kitchen has everything that you need, including coffee, paper towels and laundry detergent!
We visited in mid July and the evenings were perfect for sitting around the fire pit and watching the limitless starry sky! We were glad we had lawn chairs though as the log seating is only comfortable for a few minutes. Also, we longed for a hatchet or small axe to make kindling, but he wood was well seasoned and starting fires was easy.
Glad you were so happy with the cabin John. Thank you! Next time we hope to earn a 5-star review from you.
