Watermen's Hideout es una cabaña de 2 dormitorios y 1 baño frente al mar en el lado de sonido.

Watermen's Hideout es una cabaña clásica de playa original de Cape Hatteras, ubicada entre sinuosos robles, completamente restaurada con un interior modernizado con pisos de madera noble, baño con azulejos, ducha y cocina moderna. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king, mientras que el segundo dormitorio tiene una litera con gradas con una cama completa en la parte inferior y una doble en la parte superior. La cocina completa cuenta con una vista de sonido, una isla de preparación de alimentos, encimeras de granito y asientos de bar para 4. La sala de estar cuenta con muebles de cuero, TV de pantalla plana con cable y acceso a Amazon y Netflix. Hay asientos para 4 en una mesa elevada. El baño tiene una ducha estilo lluvia de azulejos y un tocador de granito con dos lavabos. La ducha privada al aire libre tiene una vista frente al mar. El dormitorio principal tiene acceso a una terraza con vista al sonido con una NUEVA mesa de picnic y NUEVAS sillas Adirondack. Una parrilla de carbón se encuentra fuera, a pocos pasos de la cocina. La cubierta de entrada en el lado este cuenta con cómodos muebles de cubierta acolchados colocados entre un bosque de robles vivos.

Watermen's Hideout tiene una ubicación privada y un muelle frente al mar con acceso exclusivo por sonido perfecto para la pesca, la pesca de cangrejos, la puesta de sol o el lanzamiento de un SUP.

Se admiten perros con una política de mascotas firmada y una tarifa no reembolsable pagada.

We loved our stay! Beautiful views and sunsets over the sound. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped, we stayed 8 nights and we wish it was longer! Our golden retriever gives it two paws up. :)

Blissful Stay in the Bungalow

The property was exactly as advertised and it was perfect for our family of 4 and our pup. The Hideout was beautiful and well maintained. The views from the back deck are stunning. And the location was just perfect. We had absolutely privacy even though we were right next to Real Sports. I wouldn’t change anything about our trip and stay. Oh, and the staff is amazing, helpful and so pleasant. Everyone was happy to help with anything we needed.

Perfect little secret in OBX

Perfect for one family looking to get away. Sound side is calm and good for swimming. Private yard leads right to dock where you can sit and watch kite surfers. Great way to start the morning! House is very modern and has everything you need. Ocean side beaches are minutes away... easy to bike to. Restaurant and shops right next door with live music and food that is delicious and reasonably priced. We WILL be back!

Birthday Getaway

I don't think the pictures do it justice. This secluded gem was exactly what we were looking for. The thick shrubs around the house gave a feeling of quiet seclusion even while being walking distance from a restaurant. This is a 10/10 place to stay. I'd recommend to the owners to extend the dog lot a few feet to include the deck steps. This would allow pets to be let out the back door and not need to go down with them to put them in the dog lot which has its own entrance. Still, we're already talking about out next trip.

Peaceful with Perks

Waterman’s hideout was exactly what we were looking for our family vacation. Our daughter spent a month away at sleep away camp, and we wanted family time for a week after picking her up before heading back to Boston. We also wanted to bring our family dog with us. The hideout was exactly as represented in the description and reviews. There was ample space for our kids and dog to run around, a great dock to hang out on and to paddle board from everyday, privacy and a well appointed bungalow. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we ended up using the amenities at REAL Watersports. Our kids took Kite Boarding lessons at the lesson center while we hung out with the dog at the outdoor seating at the restaurant. We were also able to rent our paddle boards there too. While Waterman’s and REAL were busy while there, we didn’t notice it at the hideout, we were able to have some great low-key family time too. The location made it ideal for getting North to Manteo, South to Ocracoke or to any of the beaches along the seashore. Everyone was super helpful, both with our stay and pointing out local places to check out, eat at and visit during our stay! It was a great break for us and the dog, and we will definitely be back!

Amazing view

We stayed at the Hideout for a week. The location is great and the place offers all amenities that one needs. We had an A/C issue when we arrived but that was taken care of pretty fast. The view from the back porch and the dock is amazing. Can't beat it!

Outdoor family getaway

Place as listed. Staff accessible and helpful. Peaceful and secluded location yet access to Waterman’s bar for some tasty eats. Enjoyed the live music at night coupled with 10 pm quiet time. Looking forward to returning when kids are old enough to fully utilize facilities.

Great house & location

We loved outvstay at Watermen’s Hideout from the beautiful sunsets to the deer peeking in at us from time to time. The house was great, modern furniture and came with everything we needed for our stay. We had our Thanksgiving meal in the house, did a lot of shopping at Real and did a lot of relaxing. The location was great and the staff at Real was amazing and hospitable. We will probably be doing it again next years.

Great cottage!

I took a last minute surf trip down to Cape Hatteras this fall. My wife was out of town and the forecast was looking good so I sent it. I had my dogs in tow and it is never easy finding a spot down there that they can stay with you that is half decent. I found Watermen's Hideout online and knew that Watermen's Retreat was a quality spot, so I gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled up to the find a really cool cottage tucked away on a huge lot and surrounded by live oak trees. The dogs went nuts and loved it. They could run around the yard off leash and there are no neighbors you can see, so they did not bother anyone. There is a long dock to the sound that I would walk out and have my coffee in the morning. The inside is really way nicer than anything on the island and what I expected. It has plush decor and all the amenities you need. Big flat screen, net, fully stocked kitchen, comfy seating and dining areas. My first though was that I could not wait to come back with my wife and kids. It is located right next to REAL Watersports, so I could walk over and grab food and a couple beers after sessions at Watemen's Bar and Grill. This place is truly a hidden gem in Hatteras and I will definitely be going back. Oh yeah my dogs loved their freedom too, so they can't wait to go back.

Amazing cottage!!

My wife, son, two dogs, and I stayed here for a long five day weekend. The updated modern beach cottage was fantastic for all of our needs to include animals. Since it has a great kitchen we spent some nights in cooking dinner, and walked the 15 feet to watermans grill at real water sports other nights. The staff at real are always amazing and helped us line up a spa day for the wife and a fishing trip on the sound for my son and I. Their local knowledge is irreplaceable. This place is very easy to access any water activities you may be into on the sound and ocean side. We spent most mornings and nights watching the beautiful sunrise and sunset. This cottage is a secret hidden gem that I hope we can come back to for years to come!! It is hidden away from the road and real watersports with a dense amount of trees giving you the feeling you are as secluded as you would ever want to be.
