Incredible Cabin

  • 5 of 5

The perfect location to visit Estes Park and RMNP. Everything you need for home away from home. Enjoyed cozy cabin after a busy day of sightseeing in the park or activities in town. In the evening we enjoyed cooking dinner on the gas grill and playing board games with our family. From the picture window, we saw several deer plus a mother elk with her young calf.

Great cabin

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is in a great location that is very close to the entrance to the park. The cabin has everything you will need to cook meals or grill outside.

The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are nice with plenty of towels.

We had four adults staying and all of us had plenty of room to move around. We couldn't have asked for a better home.

Clean and Cozy Cabin

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was clean, cozy and had everything you may need. The fireplace was great to relax after hiking or visiting shops in Estes Park, even in June! You can see wildlife through the large picture windows. The cabin was perfect for my husband and I and our 3 boys age 7,10 and 14. Each had their own bed. They were especially grateful for the toys/games they found. The location is perfect. You are right next to the entrance to RMNP and my kids especially love Fun City right down the road which had slide, putt putt, water bumper boats, bungee jumping etc. The shops were just right around the corner that could keep you busy all day. This cabin is very up to date and everything was decorated . The only thing to beware of was that in the hallway there is a step down and easy to forget and I can say I fell flat on my face a couple times walking through there in the dark.

Great location, well-maintained and comfy

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this property. Communication with the owner was very good and any questions were promptly answered.

It as only about 3 minutes from the park entrance and you really can't get much closer. Downtown was only about 8 minutes away but there are a few spots to eat closer and there's a general store across the intersection 2 minutes away but we went to Safeway since it had a much larger variety.

The road back on the east side of the property certainly needs a higher clearance vehicle, but if you take the west road in (Chickadee I think) it was fine for any type of vehicle.

In early October we had Elk in the backyard a couple times a day and even was awoken by one early morning strutting through the yard. :)

We'd stay here again for sure. Thanks!

Our week long get away was even more special by this delightful cabin. Special touches through out the cabin like dining table that seats six, updated kitchen, well-appointed bathrooms and comfortable beds made our week-long experience even more enjoyable. Not to mention the location ! ! Not even a mile from the entrance to RMNP!

After daily treks into the Park, returning to the cabin was comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed our special series on Netflix with the fireplace glowing and bowls of popcorn. We had guests for dinner one evening and grilled out steaks. What more could you ask for ? ?

Thank you Mike and Kristen and you will be hearing from us again. You made this "cabin" more than SPECIAL .

Awesome cabin. Fully updated and in the Perfect location!!

  • 5 of 5

The green cabin was one of the best rentals I have had. It is fully updated. Everything is so well maintained, We felt like the first guests. It is cozy, cutely decorated and the large dining table, full kitchen and grill made it perfect for meals as a family. The large family area was a great place to hang out between activities. The cabin also had a toy cabinet that kept my three kids fully engaged during any down time. Much more than we could bring with us.

The location of the cabin is 3-4 mins from quaint downtown Estes Park and 5 minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. We hiked at RMNP all day, had coffee and ice cream at places in town and we're back at the park to see the elk come to the meadows before dusk. Such a great location. Top that off with mule deer in the meadow behind the cabin most mornings and evenings, and lots of elk at the end of the road.

The owners of the green cabin are super nice and easy to work with. They provided some great insight into the area. As a family of 5, we generally like to rent homes for vacation. I think this is the best place we have stayed in many years of travel!
