This unique 3 story beach house has all the comforts of home with close proximity to the beach. It boasts a reverse floorplan with the living areas on the middle floor. The house has a wonderful porch with ocean views off the middle floor living area. The living room is an open concept into the dining area and kitchen. There is also a library connected to the living room. The first floor holds 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The third floor penthouse has its own kitchenette and bathroom.

Please note linens (and towels) are not included due to short timeframe in rental turnover but can be rented through a third party.

The house was great for our family. 6 adults and three children ages, 1,3 and 4 Easy access to the beach and the children were able to walk with no problem. The downstairs queen bed could use a new mattress. Not related to the house: we brought our own golf cart and found out no non- resident carts are permitted.

Wonderful house (lots of stairs though), big and roomy and well appointed. Easy beach access. We had a couple issues but owner was quick to answer and resolve. We had a great vacation.

The house was wonderful! There was lots of room for the family to spread out. The large screened in back porch was our favorite hangout spot and we enjoyed being able to see a bit of the ocean and listen to the waves. The proximity to the beach was great; just a short walk. Communication with the host was very timely and helpful. Overall it was a wonderful week in a wonderful house and we would gladly stay there again!

We didn’t have an address. We ended up going to a local realtor and they help us. They found the house and gave us the address and how to get in touch with the owner to get the entry code. After that, all was fine! Vicki Zissette

I can't think of a better place to stay for new years at the beach! The house has a great layout and porch, plus the house is very close to the ocean. I would definitely book again!

Some light bulbs out - including over stairs. Also, the top floor bathroom vanity lights have an issue - we could not get them on. The AC unit in top floor remote. control needs batterie.

Edisto FUN

We had a wonderful family vacation! The house was perfect for the (6) of us. The house is fabulously decorated, SO spacious and stocked with everything you will need and more! The house is (1) block from the ocean…less than a 5 min.walk. The owner is kind and quick to respond to questions. We will be back:)

Steps from the beach

Lovely house a block from the beach in a quiet neighbourhood. Lovely screen porch with ceiling fans, outdoor shower. Kitchen is a bit on the small side and needs a new toaster and a cheese grater. Lot’s of stairs obviously, it is a beach house, but would be difficult for small kids or folks with mobility issues. There is only covered parking for one car. Lots of games and puzzles provided and we really enjoyed our stay!

Our go to place

This was our 2nd stay and we’ve decided we don’t want to stay anywhere else! Location is perfect with the beach right across the street. House has plenty of space and feels homey and cozy. We love the porch to relax and have dinner on breezy evenings. Owner is easy to get in touch with and very responsive. It does have a lot of stairs but we didn’t find that to be a deterrent, just something to be aware of. We will absolutely stay again!

Grady's Retreat is a fabulous home. The back porch with plenty of seating, three fans and string lights was an afternoon retreat, even on the rainy day. The bookshelves were full of fascinating selections, from Time/Life to contemporary novels and older classics. We had games, music, and a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Two inside eating areas and a porch table, too. One became the puzzle and game gathering spot. A dog kennel tucked under the stairs - we loved the heart pine, mahogany, cork and slate materials, and the decor was inviting, too. We had a great time!

This family beach home has never been on the rental market, until now. Edisto is a magical place that we love to visit. This house is great for entertaining and being close to the beach.

The house has a great porch with ocean breezes. You also have a great view of the ocean from many rooms in the house. It is a very short walk to the beach.
