THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE! 4 ADULTS CAPACITY, AGE OF BOOKING 30 YEARS AND ABOVE PLEASE. It is pet friendly as a pet fee for dogs is $65- per night per pet. Example if you have 2 dogs it's $130- per each night. Please add the fee when booking.
This Cozy Two Bedroom, With Parking, Is a doorstep away from vibrant downtown shopping, restaurants/bars, harbors and minutes from the beaches. The neighborhood is very safe, and the streets are beautiful to walk along to arrive to your destination. The rental is fully accessorized with linens, towels, comforters, Keurig coffee maker & pillows to name few. Plus 3 Flat Screens LED for your viewing pleasure and free wireless internet. Also, equipped with fenced in yard, NEW PAVERS/PATIO, picnic table/chairs and Weber Grill (summer months). You can't beat the fresh air outside for drinks before you hit the town! Please turn off all the air conditioners upon departure.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Excellent Stay

Property is super clean and comfortable and the location is perfect. Just a walk away from King Park and downtown but in a very quiet neighborhood. The fenced in yard was ideal for the grandson and dogs to play and the owner is the most gracious host I've ever come across.

Great house in a quiet area

We had a great trip! Such a cute house in a quiet neighborhood, but easy to get to all of the restaurants and bars downtown. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed.

Great stay

House is well kept, clean, and cozy. Kitchen was stocked with snacks and drinks as well as K cup coffees. Plenty of clean towels in bathroom as well as toiletries. Fenced in yard was a plus for our dog. Great location. We would stay again!

Peaceful oasis close to the action!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and had everything we needed including snacks! Comfortable beds with clean crisp linens and plenty of towels. We all enjoyed the fenced in yard, especially the dog. Scott even provided dog toys! Fifteen minute walk to town. It was nice to get away from the hubbub in this quiet neighborhood and enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio. We will stay there again!

Quiet neighborhood

Cool first floor of house and a short drive to downtown, Ft. Adams, Castle Hill, mansions. All the amenities, fully furnshed. Host provided basket of snacks. Chill on the patio after a busy day sightseeing.

I took my wife abs our 2 dogs to Newport for my wife’s birthday. The house was perfect! 2 bedrooms and a fenced in yard for the dogs. The house was extremely clean. Scott was super nice. I highly recommend this place for a family or couple with dogs looking to get away.

Wonderful family vacation (with the pup!)

We had a wonderful vacation in Newport with our 2 young daughters and our dog! Scott is an exceptional host, going above and beyond to provide snacks and drinks for our stay, and even a highchair for our littlest one. The location of the house is perfect to walk into town, with easy access to restaurants and activities (we especially loved the Morton Park playground, only a 5 minute walk from the house, where our toddler played multiple times a day). The fenced in yard was also a huge perk to allow our pup to run around. We hope to return!

Great Newport Gem

Our family (2 adults & 2 teens) had a great time at Scott’s Newport property. A cozy house in a fantastic location - we walked nearly everywhere (up to 8miles/day). Grabbed some great meals at Mother Pizza, O’Brien’s Pub, Cru Cafe, La Vecina, & Brick Alley Pub. We caught great views off the cliff walk & Ocean Drive & walked the trails of Sachuest Point Wildlife Refuge too. We loved being able to get a few food staples & a quick breakfast down the street at the Harvest Market. The house’s Direct TV allowed us to watch the Celtics & Scott also welcomed us with many snacks & Keurig coffee. We had a great stay and would return in a heart beat!

Great Newport apartment with yard!

Very nice and clean property with a responsive and attentive owner. Great central location to everything to drive to. Easy 10 min walk to Thames street shopping and restaurants. 10-15 min drive to the very large and nice Second Beach. 5 min drive to Gooseberry beach and the gorgeous Ocean Drive park. Our dog loved the yard and 2 spacious parks nearby (5-7 min walk) and swimming at Kings park. The host provided snacks, coffee, candy, cold drinks, dog bowl (and treats). The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook and a full size gas grill and picnic table. A nice touch is that all rooms have ceiling fans, which is much nicer for sleeping than running AC (unless its hot and they AC works fine). Highly recommend this house and owner!

Newport Fun

Newport, RI is one of our most favorite places to spend a couple of weeks in the summer! This time was special. In fact, I’m sure we will be back, thanks to our great host - Scott. This location was everything as advertised and more because of Scott. We had easy check in, above and beyond attention to detail before and during our stay, responsiveness and generosity with items and provisions we would need during our stay! Scott - you should run a “host” clinic! People could learn from your property mgmt style. You are a “rock star”. Oh! And “Thank You” for planting the hydrangeas - my favorite flower! We thank you! Loved our week long stay!

We had such a great stay at the Atlantic Street guesthouse! Scott was very responsive pre-arrival and for the few questions we had during our stay. The place was clean, quiet and in a friendly neighborhood, so easy to walk to Thames or a quick drive to the beaches. We also brought our dogs and they loved going on walks. The house was fully stocked with anything you might need, including snacks and dog treats. Loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again!

Stupid Covid

Covid derailed our plans but Scott was gracious about the last minute situation. He allowed us to reschedule our trip to September. I am rating all categories 5 stars because of Scott's willingness to work with my and my group. I have no doubt the property is going to be amazing.
