In one word, FANTASTIC! Condo was clean, tastefully decorated, with modern appliances. Bathrooms were nice and spacious, beds comfortable. Views of the gulf from the balcony were stunning, We enjoyed eating breakfast each morning overlooking the water. Pool area is very nice and private. Also liked that the beach was private and only for guests of Beachside One. We also enjoyed using the golf cart. The Sandestin complex and surrounding shopping areas are golf cart friendly. We definitely look forward to returning again next year.

Spring Break family trip

This condo was perfect for our family. Our kids really enjoyed riding the golf cart to breakfast and Baytown Warf. The private beach access was really nice, considering how crowded it was just a few doors down.

Summer vacation

This was by far the cleanest place I have ever stayed at. It was a great property, check in was a breeze, quiet at night. The resort was also well kept. We enjoyed having the golf cart to use while on vacation. View of the beach from the condo were amazing!

Perfect Vacation

We have been coming to the Destin area every year for some time now. This was by far the nicest, most convenient place we have rented. Awesome views and beach access. Golf cart was an added bonus, that we used everyday. Condo was very nice, clean, user friendly. Great area! Can’t say enough about this place!

Great condo!

We have visited Sandestin almost every year over the last ten years and this condo has been our favorite! The golf cart was our reason for booking this specific room and it held its charge great and had no issues! A golf cart is a must for us in the resort. The condo was clean, everything we used worked and had a great view! We will be renting again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about the visit was great. Condo was perfect....only thing that did not work properly was the was imediately replaced by staff. The owner leaves 4 beach chairs and an umbrella to be used by guests...great little extra. Golf cart was perfect. Overall excellent stay.

The refrigerator handle was broken.

Overall very nice. The refrigerator handle was broken and I called your management office immediately to notify them. I did tell them it was not an emergency... but I thought they would at least repair in a day or two. It was NEVER fixed and it frustrating at best.

Response from VrboOwner on Jul 27, 2020
We are glad you enjoyed your stay and as always, appreciate the feedback. We apologize for the miscommunication with the maintenance issue - it was logged that you preferred to wait on having the handle fixed since it wasn't an emergency situation (with Covid-19 many guests prefer no contact with employees unless absolutely necessary and we do our best to honor that). We hope to welcome you back in the future!

4111 Beachside One

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely condo, comfortable beds, golf cart, beach chairs, umbrella, keurig coffee maker and regular, everything we needed. Community amenities at Beachside One are improving as well, so many renovations from last year. We used the grill and grill area as well, very nice. The huge ice machine on first floor is a great plus! The beach area in front of Beach Side One was not crowded at all, even with all the renovations at Beachside Two was very crowded (maybe because it’s closer to the Sandestin beach access). Only complaint I have is the bedroom alarm clocks, housekeeping should make sure they are off, one went off at 6:00 am on the Tuesday morning then the other 6:00 am on the Wednesday morning.

Beachside 1

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience. The unit was clean, beds were comfy, and the view was incredible. We really enjoyed the use of the golf cart. The only issues we had were small. We were told there would be patio furniture delivered during our stay so we had someone stay in the unit since all of our belongings were there. They were 4 hours late. So the day was kinda a bust. The master bedroom gets really warm compared to the rest of the unit. We had difficulty regulating that without freezing out everyone else. Overall though we had a great stay.
Response from VrboOwner on Aug 6, 2022
Thank you for the feedback Amanda! We apologize for the delay on the delivery of the new patio furniture. We did not intend for anyone's day to be inconvenienced. We will have our maintenance team take a look at the AC vents to see if this can be resolved. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We look forward to welcoming you and your family back to the Emerald Coast! Platinum Vacations of Destin

Great stay in Sandestin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed out stay at Beachside One. The location was perfect. The private beach access was wonderful and wasn't crowded even in peak season. The unit itself was clean and updated and perfect for our family of 4. The golf cart was an added bonus and helped us easily access tennis courts, restaurants etc...plus a fun ride for the kids. Would stay again. My only issue was with the washer/ dryer. It's an older appliance with an agitator. Wasn't the easiest on our clothes, the dryer left stains on some of our clothing so I stopped using it and started hang drying mid week. It needs to be replaced but otherwise great unit.
Response from VrboOwner on Aug 9, 2026
Thank you for staying with Platinum Vacations! Your feedback is appreciated and we're so happy you enjoyed your stay! We will address your issue with the washer/dryer as we were unaware there was a problem. We can't wait to welcome you back again, hopefully in the near future!
