Silver Lake Chateau #83 - Spectacular Family Dream Home Overlooking Silver Lake!
One of a kind. Pure Luxury. This bespoke 2-bedroom, 2-bath high-bank family vacation home has it all! Architecturally designed, every room offers magnificent views of Silver Lake. The 1st floor features a living room with a gas fireplace, a gourmet kitchen including a dishwasher, and a spacious dining area that is all open to each other. The 1st floor also features one bedroom with 1-queen-sized bed and one full bath. Ascending the staircase to the second floor reveals the master bedroom with a 1-queen sized bed and a great soaker tub (yes...in the bedroom!) with a spectacular view of Silver Lake. A 3/4 bath is included as well. Outside is a full-length deck with a gas fire ring, a private hot tub, and a propane BBQ...all overlooking the lake! Without a doubt, this is one of the most relaxing getaways that you will ever experience! Now with WIFI!! This monitored family vacation property will sleep up to 4-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

*NEW* The chateau now has landscaped stairs leading down the embankment to an attached dock and swim ladder!

** This rural vacation home is located on an unimproved road not maintained by the county. While impassibility is infrequent, Winter Guests are strongly advised to prepare using 4-wheel/all-wheel drive vehicles accordingly. No guarantees are expressed nor implied regarding road conditions, and refunds are not provided for circumstances beyond our control. **

** Wi-Fi service is available at the cabin and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the satellite system fails to function correctly.

** This cabin is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. Guests who ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to be mindful of neighboring residences and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Lovely place to recharge and relax. Silver Lake in March is quiet and calm. The floor to ceiling windows made us feel like we were glamping in a tree house. The hot tub overlooking the lake was the icing n the cake.

The architectural design and furnishings of this cabin are incredible! It has an amazing view; the overall ambiance is very soothing. The Master Bedroom is unbelievably gorgeous! The cabin is very well equipped - we had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and everyone agreed we would put it on our list of places worth visiting again.

Beautiful Private Modern Cabin

We had a wonderful visit. The cabin is on a private road on a beautiful lake. The cabin was modern and cozy. Close to Mount Baker and lots of sites to see near by. It was so nice to get away from the busy city and relax and enjoy the forest and lake around us. There was no reception for us but could access the Internet from the wifi. There was two small grocery stores about 5 mins away that had a decent selection. Lots of games to keep us busy. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a great escape and time to relax and enjoy nature.

Outstanding architecture

We enjoyed our three nights on Silver Lake. The house is comfortable and roomy enough for two couples or a small family. The trail to the lake is a bit overgrown and quite steep, but we had no problems navigating it. The swim ladder is broken, but the water is shallow enough to jump onto the dock from the shore. We would have liked if the maintenance of the outside of the property was more of a priority. With such great architecture, to have immense cobwebs hanging from ledges and obstructing views out some of the windows was disappointing. Great hiking nearby, and so we liked the location very much.

Perfect getaway with great amenities..

My wife and I were extremely pleased with this property. The location is secluded and the environment on the lake was the peaceful retreat we were looking for. The outdoor deck was awesome and we found ourselves in the hot tub every night. We were also pleased to find out that the home came with more than enough of the cooking utensils we were looking for. This was a big plus for us since there are not many dining options close by. Although there is no cable or internet available, there was a nice selection of about 100 DVD's to choose from. It was also great to be right on the lake with direct water access and having the park nearby to rent canoes or pedal-boats. If you like to fish, don't forget to bring a pole because there seemed to be a good amount of fish activity in the lake. My wife will definitely be visiting this rental in the future.

Absolutely Stunning Views!

SUCH a cool home with an absolutely stunning view! The views really can’t be beat - with a wall of windows downstairs & in the upstairs bedroom, too. The only thing I missed when we reserved this home was that there is no cell service anywhere nearby or wi-fi, and you drive down a single lane gravel road for a bit to get there. (So it was a little more off the grid than expected). It would have been great to be with our teens and no phones/no wi-fi, except we had the bad timing of staying here during the crazy 105-110 degrees in June/July - so with no AC or ceiling fans, we spent most of our time in the car or in Bellingham looking for restaurants that were open! But any other time (with normal Washington temperatures) this place would be perfect! Silver Lake was serene & lovely - we had a great time renting canoes one afternoon (and go check out Nooksak Falks - pretty incredible 88 ft waterfall hidden off the road towards Mt. Baker). Beautiful home in a stunning location!

Relaxing Escape

We had a wonderful, relaxing time on Silver Lake. The views were beautiful and serene. We loved all the windows and natural light and enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The house was well supplied with everything we needed for our stay. We also enjoyed visiting Silver Lake park, which is just on the other side of the lake. We rented a boat and enjoyed swimming there. It was lovely. We look forward to returning.

Off the grid retreat

We enjoyed this lake cabin in the woods so much that we are already looking to come back this summer. We skied Mt. Baker and enjoyed the hot tub on the deck each night. Beautiful!
