Chillin at Keys Retreat

Perfect for boating and fishing

Nice place, clean and perfectly suited our needs. The kitchen was extremely well equipped which was a pleasant surprise. The property owner was helpful and quickly responded when we reached out.

Perfect loction

Very quiet home on canal! Good fishing right off canal and we saw manatees multiple times.Home is spotless!! Extremely clean home and had everything we needed. It was perfect size for our family of 5. Roy was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had!! He is an amazing host!!

Great Apartment with Excellent Dock!

Dock and outdoor area are excellent, with good lighting, freezer and nice patio furniture. Apartment is very clean with comfortable king bed, nice sheets and towels. Communication with owner was excellent, quick and on point.

Very Nice Clean Duplex

This is a very well kept duplex on the water facing east (Nice in the afternoons when the sun is hot)Nicely equipped. Roy is a very responsive and conscientious owner. Have stayed here 3 years for 2 weeks each trip and will stay again.

Awesome property and location!

The property was immaculate when we arrived. High end finishes and decor and very clean. Everything looked brand new. The owner was responsive to any questions we had. We saw rays and manatees off the private dock as well as beautiful sunsets. We used the club a few times which gave us time on the beach. The location was perfect for our snorkel and fishing trips as well as day trips to Robbie’s and Key West. We highly recommend this property!

Neat and tidy with fun dock fishing.

This is a nice little property that fit our budget, it was clean and had great fishing from the dock at the back only steps away from the back door. Our kids have never been this far south and had a great time. Being right in the middle of the keys this property made a great base to get to all the amenities that the keys have to offer. You can even walk to the little golf course and hit Bahia Honda State Park just down the road. Best of all Roy the owner was very accommodating with having to move our dates around, always answered calls and emails promptly. Would definitely return again!

Family Vacation

This was the perfect get away for my family. We have 2 teenage boys and I don't think that the engine from the car had time to spool down before they had lines in the water! We spent 2 weeks and didn't want to leave! The owner was very helpful when we had boat issues. He gave us people to help us. Perfect for quiet. ...relaxing. ..fishing...family fun!

Excellent communication and cooperation

We stayed at this property the 1st week of May and planned a return trip for the 1st week of October for my wife's birthday. Although this area was not directly impacted by Hurricane Ian, our travel from NC to Marathon pulling a boat a few days after the disaster did not seem reason able. I spoke via telephone with the property contact and simply agreed to move our trip to the 1st week of November. Excellent customer service.

Week in the center of the FL Keys

Property was exactly as described and pictured. Very nice quality and fresh remodel. Very comfortable and all the things you need. Equipment kitchen, gas grill, outdoor deep freezer, laundry and very nice dock with power and water. House and canal location are perfect with immediate acces to Vaca Cut and easy fast access to Atlantic or Gulf.

Boys fishing trip

Brought down a 28ft boat that easily fit on the dock. Great filet table. Washdown on the dock. Easy run out to the ocean or bay side. Great yellow tail snapper spots nearby. Public ramp/bait stores nearby. Plenty of parking for the boat trailer. Bait freezer out back. 2 coffee makers. Quiet/friendly neighborhood, very comfortable.

This property has everything you need for a great vacation in the keys, very clean, full kitchen, excellent dock area for the boat, location is wonderful, you can go to the gulf side and see the sunset and fish, Publix and WinDixie very close if you need to buy food. good restaurants nearby. I recommend this property to anyone, you will have a blast.

Amazing place!

We really had a great time. The kids loved the manatee by the dock. It would show up everyday in the afternoon. The place is clean and renovated. Key Colony is the best place we have stayed at in the Keys.
