The BEST location in Maui. The sandy beach is just a few steps down a private walkway. Perfect for stand-up paddle boarding, boogie boarding, swimming, snorkeling or lounging. Frequent turtles and colorful fish, and the humpback whales in the winter season.

You can also enjoy long walks on the mile long pristine white sand beach to Wailea. Outdoor shower, lounge chairs and deep seated couch, and chairs to enjoy the ocean view and sunsets. Shaded outdoor area with table and chairs for your comfort.

Unit 103 is a private two bedroom, two full bath beach condo, tastefully appointed that sleeps 6 comfortably. Each room is individually air conditioned for comfort control. Bedrooms have a private door, NOT a loft or semi private slider as many 2 bedrooms in this area. Each bedroom has its own flat screen tv, smart tv in the master and windows that close with ceiling fans. There is a king bed in the master, 2 twin beds in second bedroom that can be converted to another king, and a comfortable queen size fold out sleeper sofa. It has a full kitchen with new stainless steel LG stove, side-by-side refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. There is a beautiful tropical private Lanai (patio) right outside and double sliders that open onto this garden area to bring the outdoors inside. There is free wireless internet, cable TV, Showtime and a DVD player. Total of 3 flat screen tv's and 2 are smart tv's with netflix capabilities. Phone service is provided with free calling to mainland USA, Hawaii and Canada.

Laundry is on site and there is free parking. You have a close walk to paddle board rentals, a deli / general store, activity desk and multiple restaurants.

If you want privacy, relaxation, fun in the sun and the ocean experience, this is the only place to consider.

About Kim

My parents have lived on Maui for over 25 years and have chosen the best oceanfront location to share with their guests. They now share time between Maui and Colorado. They love drinking their coffee in the morning and gazing out over the ocean while watching the whales and turtles frolicking nearby. They take long walks on the pristine white sand and go paddle boarding within a few steps from the condo. My name is Bo. Hale Hui Kai is one of the few beachfront condo's with pristine white sand and all amenities right at your fingertips. Nestled among multi million dollar homes and close to Wailea, there is no better location. Many visitors that return year after year to enjoy unit 103. This is one of the best locations in the complex with garden lanai area that offers much privacy and plenty of room for lounging or dining. Many ceiling fans and cool ocean breezes, walk to restaurants and enjoy beach toy rentals steps away.

Perfect family vacation!

My husband and I planned this vacation for us and our three, 20-something, adult kids, one of whom is married and has a baby. I wanted everyone to "like it" and I spent copious hours searching for a place that I 1. I could afford and that 2. I thought would please everyone. I found the place! We loved Hale Hui Kai. We've stayed on the beach in Kihei two other times and this was by far the best location. We love that it is a smaller complex with EASY access to a beautiful sand beach. It's also virtually next door to a resort that has rentals, little store, concierge for booking activities, and great restaurant/bar. We had easy access to the services, without the noise and distance from the beach of the larger complex. The Hale Hui Kai walkways and lanais have meticulously tended foliage, beautiful fountains, and old Hawaii feel. There's also a shaded common area with a beautiful view of the sunset (still close enough to use the baby monitor) play a family game (table seated six) or visit with other guests. #103 was a great unit for us. It's not fancy, but it had all the essentials and was clean and well maintained. The beds (including the sleeper sofa) were comfortable, and although a little small for six, it worked perfectly because of the nice lanai and the common area. We had a couple little glitches while we were there and Kim was responsive and helped us resolve things easily. Being in a unit that is at the back of the complex was quieter. Seldom did anyone walk by our lanai, and we felt comfortable letting the baby be out there playing. Speaking of the baby, Keawakapu Beach was a great beach for a little one. Long shallow stretch and waves were usually small enough that you could go beyond the crest and still be only waist/chest deep. The sand was pristine and the beach is long (1.5 miles?) and great for walking. In fact, you can catch the boardwalk after that and extend your walk around the Wailea resorts if you want to walk the shore even further. We've snorkeled all over Maui and the beautiful coral reef right here was on par with some of the nicest spots we've been to - so we stayed here most days. Why not? We saw turtles, eels and a great variety of fish and coral. Our boys walked to town (just about 1.5 mile north) and we walked to Wailea shops (about the same distance the other direction.) The location simply could not be beat. A perfect mix of quiet without feeling isolated. Everything we hoped for. Pleased everyone!

Close to the ocean with a smal reef, a perfect spot for snorkling. A pool at the property that we used every day.

Nice place on the beach

Location on the island is ideal. You are close to nice restaurants and grocery. Beach is perfect right where you are staying and do not have to go to any other beach on the island. You can also snorkel there as well. Accommodations are nice for 4 people but would be a tight squeeze for more and would have to sleep on pullout sofa. Only downside was the patio next to the trash cans at the facility next door. Every morning and afternoon the crashing bottles into the trash was quite noisy. Also, the laundry is not in your living quarters. The laundry is next door at a community laundry you pay for. Otherwise, the place was excellent.

Amazing Beach access

The condo was cozy and well kept with a nice, quiet location. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was such a plus!! The patio was quiet and private and provided excellent access to the beach. The beach itself was beautiful. The green sea turtles even swam around us one day! It was amazing! The pool was small, but very nice. And there is a shower/spray off area to wash off before heading back to the condo. Would definitely consider again! Love Maui!

Wonderful location

We had the pleasure of staying at this property over Memorial Day and it proved to be just perfect. The staff and the facility were very helpful if needed and the unit itself was clean and well maintained. We had our 2 kids along and the separate bedroom with twin beds was a hit. The beach is beautiful and we all loved it. Thank you and look forward to coming back later this year.

Absolutely Perfect!

We had the best time here! Everything we needed and more!! I will absolutely come stay here again! We snorkeled everyday! Saw amazing fish and huge sea turtles! Right in front of the condos. This place is a great location!
