As you enter this custom-built home, you are greeted by a living room with a wall of windows and breathtaking views of Lumpy Ridge. The open-concept main floor provides a friendly and inviting living space with vaulted ceilings, beautiful wood beams, and rich hardwood floors. The living room has comfortable chairs, a small sectional sofa, and a cozy gas fireplace. Enjoy a movie on the smart TV or blu Blu-ray Disc player equipped with surround sound while guests can converse while cooking in the kitchen.
The dining area has a beautifully handmade, vintage table with chairs and benches for gathering and making memories. Sliding glass doors open to the deck with the most amazing views of the mountains and Lake Estes. Enjoy the deck as you find a gas grill, patio table/chairs, and deck furniture to relax in the afternoon or barbecue your favorite dinner.
The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops and lots of counter space for preparing meals. It has stainless steel appliances, and the rich Knotty Alder cabinets are fully equipped with every item for your cooking convenience. Behind the vintage screen door is a large walk-in pantry. Sit at the breakfast bar and enjoy the cook's company, or have additional seating for your family. The corner windows in the kitchen will provide beautiful views of the lake while doing dishes during your mountain stay.
The main level of this home is wheelchair-friendly. Enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine on the patio right outside the front door and enjoy the beautiful rock landscaping and the occasional wildlife passing through. Take a dip in the hot tub on the outdoor front patio. We have resident deer, elk, bears, coyotes, chipmunks, and mountain birds.
The mudroom and oversized two-car garage door are just off the kitchen. Built-in benches with storage big enough to hold all your hiking boots and gear line the wall. The mudroom also has a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience.
To the left of the living area is the Primary bedroom with its comfy, welcoming King bed, incredible walk-in closet, and private bathroom. It will make you feel like royalty. The primary bedroom has a TV and DVD player. The bathroom has a glass shower, a separate soaker tub, his and her sinks, and plenty of space for storing personal items. This bathroom has salon-brand shampoo/conditioner, body soap, and a professional-quality hairdryer.
Up the stairs, you will find the 2nd guest bedroom with a Queen bed and a cozy loft nook complete with a single bed and industrial pipe ladder. Beautiful mountain views can be seen from every window.
Just outside the bedroom door is the second full bathroom. This bathroom has granite counters and a combined tub/shower. You will also find salon-brand shampoo/conditioner, body soap, and a professional hair dryer.
As you continue down the hall, you can stop to enjoy the views out the wall of windows or look down into the living area below. There is also a work area with a desk, printer, and high-speed broadband to work while enjoying your stay.
At the end of the hall is the third guest bedroom. This bedroom has gorgeous views from every window but can sleep four people on two queen beds.
We are 1 mile from downtown Estes Park in a quiet neighborhood.

We are Jared and Jess Kingswood. Jared grew up in Estes Park and is a local builder. Jess is a hairstylist and mother to our two children.
We both love living in the mountains. In 2013, we decided to build our "forever home" in Estes Park. We did most of the building ourselves and finished our home in 2014, Just a few months before our son was born. A year and a half later, our daughter was born.
After having the kids, we moved to Canada in 2020 and Florida in 2022. We love living in the St. Augustine area, but our hearts still love the mountains and this home we've built.
For now, we will come back to visit and enjoy the beautiful views, and all that the mountains have to offer until it is the season when we can return to our "forever home."

This is a wonderful property for your family/group vacation. It is clean, close to town, and in a quiet neighborhood. Wildlife can often be viewed in the yard and on walks around the neighborhood. Enjoy magnificent mountain views from all the rooms of the house. It can sleep up to 8 and a full kitchen with everything, you need to prepare your meals and make family memories.

Spices, condiments, storage containers/bags, cooking oils, and baking essentials are stocked for your convenience. We provide all your paper goods, soaps, shampoo/conditioner, basic cosmetics, and cleaning supplies. Central Air Conditioning, Ceiling fans in all rooms, and portable fans are also available to make your stay more comfortable.
