Extremely Rude unfriendly and disrespectful plus unit was very Dirty !!!!!!!

First, I asked to change the dates because my father was having back surgery and was not able to travel. They would not change the dates I can understand them not giving a refund but at least change the dates for me because it was unexpected. His surgeon had a baby and was not able to do the surgery on the date. When I got there, the room is Right by the checkout desk and the trash room, you could smell diapers through the hallway. It was a very strong smell gotten into the room. It was very dusty and dirty. The dishes were greasy. They had no cleaning supplies only one broom then the Wi-Fi did not work. They had spectrum come out the next day And fixed it which I was grateful for When I was down at the pool with the family, there was a group of people who left all their trash. I have pictures. I went upstairs and told them about it. There was burgers, hotdogs, towels, lotions, fruit bowls. It was very disgusting. I asked her for some type of cleaning spray so that I could clean the floors with a towel, and she did give me some spray so I was able to clean the floors so that our feet weren’t black on the bottom. We left all the towels And one bathroom in a pile all the sheets on the bed because I know they have to clean them anyway took out all the trash. There was nothing left for them To do but laundry, which they should do anyway after each guest stay. When I got home, I found a $30 charge. They said that I had trash the room which I have pictures to show that I did not

Location is perfect and there is a crosswalk right in front of the unit and the beach is easily accessible. Master bedroom is great size and the bed is super comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with most of what you will need if plan on cooking. There is a cooler on wheels, two beach umbrellas, a beach chair, a “boogie” board and a couple of small beach towels. There are also a few sand toys and life jackets for small children.The unit was not clean upon arrival, the stovetop had dried food on it, the fridge had standing water with mold and the bottom shelf each day had to be cleaned to soak up the water leaning from somewhere, there were dirty towels in the washer. I did contact management and they were quick to respond. The kitchen, while stocked well, needs upgraded pots and pans (one small frying pan had stuck and dried eggs), the toaster is old. There is a regular coffee pot and a Keurig along with coffee filters and a few pods. This unit truly needs to be deep cleaned. The walls are very dirty, the floors need deep cleaned, the ceiling fans are almost black and the area rug in the living room is disgusting. I truly hope that they update it as it has real potential. It just needs some TLC. I would not recommend this unit, in its current “state”.You absolutely cannot have more than one vehicle (even if you have a 3 bedroom unit). While there is a public parking lot just next door, it is 4.50 per hour to park there with a 24 hour cap.

We’ve stayed here before and love it. Pet friendly helps too. The traffic is noticeable but it’s quiet after 8/9 pm and before 9 am.

We stayed here this weekend for my daughter's birthday. If it was not for it being her birthday we would have left immediately. At check in the lady at the desk was extremely rude. She made a big deal about some how my middle name was my last name on my reservation. It wound up not being a big deal. Next they absolutely need to put on this listing that you are only aloud to park 1 car on property NO EXCEPTIONS. It say they provide 1 parking pass but we thought we would be able to pay for extras. That is not the case. If you extra cars you have to drive to city hall and pay $40 per vehicle for a beach parking pass. And city hall closes at 4:30 so if you don't make it in time your just screwed. Next, the room. The room is old and needs many repair. The whole front bathing has bad water damage, the closet doors don't open properly and on top of the many other repairs that need to be done the room was filthy. The walls doors and cabinets had dirt, hand prints, food and who knows what else on them. The baseboards had a thick layer of dirt and dust that looked like it had been there for quite some time. We had to wear our shoes the whole time bc if we didn't the bottom of our feet turn black from dirt on the floor. They tell you, you have to wash the dishes before you leave, which we were fine with. But they don't give you any dish soap and they also don't have any even if you request it. You have to go find a store (none are very close) to buy some. The furniture in the room is broken and chipped, the couch and chairs have all kind of different and questionable looking stains. The 2nd "bedroom" is more like a walking closet with a bed in it. The only things that I can say positive about this place are the bed sheets did seem to be clean. There is 1 nice guy that works the desk at night. And it is very close to the beach. I honestly am left wondering if the person who actually owns the condo knows how poor of condition their place is being kept. From what we were told when we tried to get our room switched was all the condos are privately owned and it's the owners responsibility for cleaning and maintenance. Overall getting home and taking a shower to get the gross feeling from that room off of me was the highlight of that little family trip. Don't waste ur money.

It was adequate for 3-4 people for a 4 day stay. I wouldn’t have wanted 6 people there. Nice that there were beach chairs to use. Nice kitchen. Bathrooms could use some work, particularly around the shower.

Some items should be addressed

The pool key did not open the gate had to go back to the front desk to be shown a trick for entrance into the pool area. The water faucet in the front bathroom only had hot water coming out and it leaks. It needs to be replaced.

Sadly, the photos do not depict an accurate state of the rooms.

Positives: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. Great restaurant, bars, and places to shop nearby. The room sizes were nice. The kitchen has been updated and stocked with daily kitchen appliances. The floors look to have been updated throughout the unit. The linens were clean and the pillows seem new. Working washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Use of the pool and hot tub, which seems to be nicely maintained. Negatives: The furniture is very worn and dirty. The living room couches are stained, dirty, and stink. The master bedroom chair is stained. All of the furniture is scratched, stained, broken, and very used. Both bathrooms need major repairs. The master suites bathroom faucet, shower, and toilet need to be replaced, all leak. The master bedroom bed was comfortable, however, the headboard is so old it is loose and squeaky and we rolled into the middle. The comforter was clean but old and stained. The decorative pillows were disgusting. The second bedroom is very tight. The bed again comfortable but worn down. The main bathroom faucets leak. The walk-in shower tiles are broken and coming up. Both showers have draining issues. There were only two rolls of toilet paper for a week's stay for four people. There was dirt, sand, and trash on the floors. We were unable to walk on the floors without socks or shoes because the floors were sticky and grimy. The sliding glass doors didn't work properly. The lawn chairs were not usable they are so old and dry rotted. The fire alarms are questionable. There is a lot of potential but several updates are needed as well as repairs.

When things go wrong

Upon checking in the staff was very friendly and professional. Could not get the cable on due to needed batteries which they replaced. Light bulbs also need to be replaced. The one bed was broken when lying down you roll to the center . Upon checking out before office opened we were not given instructions on where to leave keys. We called the number for 24 hour service and no one answered. There was couples fighting and arguing in the hallway at early morning hours.
