One of the best things about this complex and location is its central location to everything. You can literally walk to almost anything in Breckenridge. There is a grocery store located right across the street, a dog park about 3 1/2 blocks up, a liquor store right across the street as well as restaurants, bars and shopping right out your front door. All of Tannhauser units are stocked nicely with most of what you will need during your vacation in Breckenridge, and if there is something lacking, just inform the friendly staff, they are always willing to help. The Views from almost all of our units are spectacular. You are able to see the 10 mile range from most of our units. Enjoy this affordable downtown lodging location now

About Karla Ascher

We have been living in and around the mountains of Summit County for almost 20 years having moved here in 1996. We started a family 8 years later and still love all that the mountains have to offer. Having started our own cleaning business in 1996, we have now evolved into property management are loving every second of it. We are a family owned and operated business with close ties to the community. As a family we enjoy the outdoors, both winter and summer mountain activities and live life to the fullest at this high altitude. Downtown Lodging is the most convenient location to have when staying in Breckenridge. You have the most amount of flexibility staying in the downtown area, as you can walk to the slopes as well as the restaurants, shopping and activities. Catching a free shuttle is also an easy more relaxing way of getting around. With a grocery store right across the street you are able to take full advantage of the fully stocked kitchen but can also access all of the wonderful restaurants right out your front door.

Location was great, write indicates sleeps 5 but don’t know where the 5th person was suppose to slep

Owner's Response: I'm sorry Shawn, I see that the listing says it sleeps 4, not sure where you saw the 5 person maximum? If you could let me know where you saw that, I would greatly appreciate it. I am sorry for that inconvenience. We will often times leave some dry goods, such as sugar, spices oil etc... behind as people like to use them instead of purchasing new stuff. If that isn't your preference, then they are just there for your convenience. Glad the location made up for it.

Close to everything and comfortable

My two sons and I really enjoyed staying at Tanhauser #113 for four days during our spring break. We did not get in the car other than go to and from the airport. We had a 5 minute walk to the lift every morning and it was actually less than that to go out to eat. We might have used the car to start at a different place on the mountain, since it is so big.

I reccomend if for convenience, but also found it well stocked with towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc. We brought food up and made breakfast and lunch everyday in the well-stocked kitchen.

Fantastic holiday made possible with great accommodation

The apartment was practical. Everything we needed was available. Kitchen well equipped (including a dishwasher). Bedrooms had enough storage space and beds comfortable. Walking distance from the “beginner’s ski lift” which is what we needed. Staff very accommodating with advice and help.

Historic downtown great view of the mountains.

Great little place to stay. We loved the town of Breckenridge! It's a full house with 4 people, but it was perfect. We walked to Quicksilver lift everyday. We would not rent a car next time. We walked everywhere, shopping, dinner, groceries ect. Everything is within walking distance. We really liked that. Laundry facility was Really helpful. Fireplace was cozy. Wifi was good. We will definitely visit again. Thank you!

My family and I have been staying at Tannhauser I&II each year for at least 10 years and longer sometimes renting multiple units. Your team is at least the third one we have had has hosts. Last name not spelled correctly. Ho room keys on the wall as requested after paying in full. No one in the office most of the time during normal hours. your penny wise pound foolish policy when considering the thousands of dollars a guest family may spend on their vacation for normal host provided items.Imagine, after arriving by air, having to walk to the store for a bar of soap.

Owner's Response: Such a bummer to hear this review David. I would like to address each of your issues, however; it would have been better if you'd given us a chance to address them while you were here. First of all, I want to apologize for misspelling your name. It's not personal, but sometimes there are typos or we don't hear exactly the correct spelling when taking reservations over the phone. As far as the room keys not being left out, that was because you hadn't signed our rental agreement yet and we require that to be done before check in. We make this process very easy for all of our renters. Lastly, we provide 2 bars of soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion for all of our guests, so we are not penny pinchers and if you have stayed here in the past, you would realize that this is a lot more than they have every provided in the past. We inspect each unit before check in so I know for a fact that amenities were left. If they weren't then a simple phone call to the office is all that is needed. Lastly, we are in the office as much as possible, but often we need to do things on the property and we always leave a phone number on the office door if you have an emergency or something that needs attending to. Our property manager lives on-site, so we respond quickly when called upon. I don't believe we ever got a phone message from you. Kind of hard to address your needs, or complaints when we don't know what they are. I would hope you would see that a little communication could have resolved most of your problems in this situation.

Shorter stays may be accommodated if there is a gap to be filled in between reservations. Give us a call if you would like to inquire about this. All reservations are non-refundable unless the unit can be rented out for the same amount of time, in which case, we will refund 100% minus a $100 cancellation fee. If you cancel outside of 30 days you lose your deposit.
