Place was just as the photos, clean and cozy! Ski out is a short walk uphill (2min) and you'll find a gap on the left to get to sub dog trail. Ski in is even easier, just take bear cub and at the intersection with bear view you'll see a smaller path that goes behind the houses. Take that path and exit to the left to get to the parking lot of the house complex! Highly recommend!

Lovely Stay for Ski Vacation

The location and home were perfect for our family ski vacation. It was very cozy and spacious, and the place had all the amenities we needed for our stay. It was easy to access the slopes (after a very short uphill walk) and skiing back to the condo was not a problem (so long as there is snow cover). We had a wonderful time!

Great House for a Family

My family of 6 adults and one 1.5 yr old stayed here and it was the perfect spot for our ski vacation. A very short walk to the ski on location and the ski off will get you directly back. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and sauna, as well as the pool and hot tub(s) at the sports center. We would stay again as the condo was very spacious for the 6 of us.

Great location and house to stay in. Would definitely stay again if below could be corrected. Two notes for owner for future: 1. Dryer in laundry room smelled of vomit when we opened it so we only air dried what we washed (thankfully you had a nice large drying rack to use). 2. There was no hot water the entire stay, a tech arrived on Saturday, unannounced, but there was still no hot water after his work which was unfortunate. I would have reached out but our stay was short. Thank you.

Thank you for your kind words about the house and location, and I’m really sorry about the issues you ran into during your stay. The dryer smell and the lack of hot water are definitely not the experience we want for our guests, and I completely understand how frustrating that must have been. We’ve taken care of the dryer and had the hot water system properly repaired so this doesn’t happen again. We truly appreciate your patience and feedback, and we’d love the chance to host you again so you can enjoy the home the way it’s meant to be.

Best. Time. Ever.

First time at Killington, and OMG! An exhilarating and epic experience for me and my immediate family of 10! Just great vibes; the place was amazing, fit everyone, and did not want to leave. The owners were very accommodating and attentive to all of our needs. Overall, a 10 out of 10 experience.

Overall property was great

Place was great. Kitchen was well outfitted. Beds were comfy. To say this is ski in and ski out is a fallacy. It is a good walk to get to the lift. There could have been better directions to get to the actual Sunrise lift as well. The TV didn't work that well either and the WiFi is spotty. Fire was awesome - lots of firewood available too.

We are glad you had a great time. I will have our maintenance check out the TV, WiFi and I will read over the direction to see how we can make them better. Thank you for the feed back.

We appreciate your review. This is not a ski on/ ski off property. The description of the property states "To access the Sunrise Village Triple Chair lift using the Sundog trail, you will need to walk out of the Northstar parking area, turn right and walk up the road about 50 to 75 yards and the trail is on the left side of the road. You will be able to ski back to the Northstar building". We are aware of the leaky windows, some cold air does come in. The are scheduled to be replaced in the spring of 2019. So glad you felt that the condo was nice and that we are responsive. With all the snow we had we need to make sure that there is a path to get out of the condo. Thank you. GetAway Vacations

Disappointed

We rented this property for a family ski vacation and ended up very disappointed. The sauna does not work. The outdoor hot tub was closed. The twin beds pictured in the lower bedroom are no longer there. They have been replaced with flimsy bunk beds. The bottom bunks basically sit on the floor. The bunk beds are not suitable for adults. However, the worst surprise was the mouse droppings in the closet of the lower level queen bedroom. Yikes!

Dear Sherry, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet expectations — especially during a long-awaited family ski trip. To address some of the concerns you raised: • Sauna: The sauna is indeed functional. Instructions for use are included in the binder at the house, though it sounds like they may have been missed. That’s on us — we’ll be updating the binder and placing clearer signage to ensure future guests can easily locate and follow the instructions. • Outdoor Hot Tub: We completely understand the disappointment. The outdoor hot tub is managed by the HOA, and unfortunately its availability is out of our control. We’re working on improving communication around this to avoid surprises for guests. • Bunk Beds: The original twin beds in the lower bedroom were recently replaced with custom low-profile bunk beds. These were chosen specifically to accommodate the lower ceiling height in that room. While they are safe and sturdy, we understand they may not be ideal for all guests, and we appreciate your feedback. • Mouse Droppings: We sincerely apologize for this. It’s absolutely not the experience we aim to provide. We’ve since addressed the issue with professional pest control and have taken additional steps to ensure the home is clean and secure moving forward. We value your feedback and are always working to improve. Thank you again for bringing these items to our attention, and we hope you’ll consider staying with us again in the future.

Sunrise location a plus

We travel to Killington annually for a family ski vacation. We always stay in the Sunrise area and love the easy access to Sundog trail and lift and the access to the sports complex. This property is not a ski in nor a ski out property and should not be described and priced as one. We drove and parked to access Sundog. If you are coming with a group, the kitchen is tiny and you literally cannot open the dishwasher or refrigerator and enter the kitchen. Several dining chairs and the sitting bench had wobbly legs. The sofa bed in the office needs to be replaced, it is terrible. The main floor bedroom is tiny and the closet was crammed with stuff and not usable, as was several other closets. Same with dressers in bedrooms, drawers had junk in them as well. The sports center pool and hot tub was only open until 4:30 this year due to Covid? Making using the sports center impossible if you were skiing until the slopes closed. 0n a positive note, the kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of seating in the fairly small living room and a nice fireplace. Getaway vacation was very responsive and sent maintenance promptly to fix a few issues. And there is a sauna in the basement, which I didn’t recall being listed as an amenity.

Perfect stay at Killington

This property was the perfect place for my friends and I. The house was cozy and the beds were comfy. The wood burning fireplace was a highlight, as was the access to their outdoor hottub, sauna, and pool. I cannot say whether the ski in ski out was convenient because we ended up driving to the base so that people could get their equipment. The only concern we had was that the downstairs bedroom with twin beds often smelled like gas, coming from the utility closet in there. We assumed this was the hot water heater or something.

Perfect stay in killington

This property was the perfect place for my friends and I. It was easy to get into the house with the digital code, and we didn't need to much to check out except take out the trash and close the door behind us. Hopefully they can look into this. Still despite this, we really enjoyed our stay!
