Lower Queenstown Hill. Apartment is located 500 metres from Queenstown town centre with breathtaking mountain and lake views walking distance from Queenstown town centre which makes this location popular for locals and visitors to the city. The apartment is located on a steep hill. It is a quick downhill walk to the city and a steep walk back or a quick, cheap taxi fare. (Queenstown is located in the mountains, this hill is why the views are so incredible) During the winter months the street can very occasionally get icy. I recommend a 4 wheel drive in winter. 2 wheel drive car access may be affected in occasional winter storms or freezing cold snaps. Located a quick downhill walk to town There is one carspace in front of the apartment. It is a steep walk back. Once you are settled in you may not need a car. Most Queenstown activities run complimentary shuttles from Queenstown centre. If you are not the active type and do not wish to walk back up the steep hill a taxi will cost around $10. There are 2 sets of stairs in apartment. We have 2 x baby gates available for guests use. The apartment is located on a steep hill. It is a quick downhill walk to the city and a VERY steep walk back. (Queenstown is located in the mountains) The one carpark is in front of apartment and is not suited to oversized vehicles or campervans. During the winter months the street can very occasionally get icy. If your departure date falls on a public holiday we will have to charge additional cleaning fees to cover cleaning companies holiday staffing costs a $75 request will be sent out after booking confirmation. The hot water is supplied from a hot water cylinder. which is the standard water heating system for most NZ homes. If everyone is showering at the same time of day, care needs to be taken to be mindful of showering times.
