The Somerset building is a luxury gated community and perfect for a beach vacation for families and couples. The property has 2 tennis courts, 2 outdoor pools, grilling areas and direct private beach access. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops.
Located at the south end of Crescent beach. this direct beachfront unit 607 with over 1800 sq ft of indoor and outdoor space has been completely remodeled in 2015. This is the largest two bedroom model in the building. New hurricane proof windows and doors installed in October 2017.
This unit (which sleeps a maximum of five people) features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a den. The kitchen is fully equipped, with all new custom wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a breakfast bar. The dining area and living room face the large gulf-front lanai, which is also accessible from the master bedroom. The entire unit features new wood-look tile flooring.
The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, and a large walk-in closet. The en-suite master bath has been completely redone with new tiling, large walk-in glass shower, double vanity and granite counter tops. The second bedroom has two extra long twin beds. The second bath has also been completely redone. Both bedrooms , the living area and den area are equipped with flat-screen TVs with HD cable. The den has a very comfortable queen pull out American Leather Sleeper Sofa and pocket doors which can be closed off for privacy/additional sleeping area, There is also an additional lanai off the second bedroom.
There is a washer and dryer in the unit, free High Speed WiFi and a telephone. A storage unit near the pool area with beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, beach cart and beach toys is also accessible.
Naples is just a 30-minute drive away with world class shopping and restaurants.

Why Michelle Fenimore chose Marco Island
We first visited Marco Island in mid 2014 and loved the relaxed environment and the beautiful beaches. We love that it never feels too crowded We had always wanted to own a beachfront getaway to escape the cold northeast winters and decided this was the perfect location. In late 2014 we returned to Marco and had the opportunity to purchase a unit in the Somerset. We loved the Somerset property and its location so we bought it. We come down a few times a year with our children when they are not in school to relax, and rent it out for others to enjoy the rest of the year.
What makes this Condo unique
We have rented condos and homes through VRBO ourselves many times, so I feel we know what renters are looking for in a property. We have updated everything and try to make it feel comfortable and like home to our guests.

Great Clean Updated Condo
We just returned from Marco Island and a stay at this property. The condo was perfect for us. We liked being in the 'end' unit. Condo had everything we needed and close proximity to shopping and restaurants. Very clean and updated. We did experience the 'black bug' invasion of Marco, but, nothing you can do about that! Michelle is very responsive and easy to work with. We liked the security of the condo. Beautiful sunsets from the deck, and easy access to beach.
Fully updated condo with spectacular view!
Our family had a wonderful stay in this fully updated condo. It was very spacious and had all the amenities as listed. It was very clean and well maintained. The layout was perfect! The owners were very accessible and a pleasure to deal with. The view was unbeatable! We loved having the beach and pool to enjoy. Some work was being done on the 2nd pool during our stay, so that was really the only thing that was slightly inconvenient. The Little Bar restaurant was exceptional and we also enjoyed Island Gypsy Cafe. Snook Inn is a must - great atmosphere on the water. We would love to stay here again!
Great Condo in Marco Island
We loved our stay in this unit. The condo is just as pictured. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The beach umbrella in the locker was great, and I liked that we could grab it on the ground level when we headed out to the beach. (no tracking sand into the unit!) We were pleasantly surprised that there was only minimal damage on most of the island from Hurricane Irma. Good job, Larry Honig and Marco Island City Council! The unit was great, and the building was in good condition. The pool looked inviting, but we prefer the beach and gulf, so we can't say if it was warm, etc. It would have been more convenient if we had 3 beach keys, but we managed to deal with lack of a beach key for each of us.
We chartered a morning fishing trip with Captain Scott and First Mate Jeff on the Carole Ann II based @ Rose Marina. Three of us caught over 25 keepers. Highly recommend. We also took Hemingway Water Shuttle to Keewaydin Island for a day. Loved the ride and personal touch Steve and Val have. Shelling on the island wasn't quite as good as previous trips. There was only one food boat. We were told that most floating businesses will be back in full come 2018 high season.
Eating outside @ CJ's on the Bay was refreshing for our first lunch. We had dinner by the water @ Snook's Inn and enjoyed the live music. Joey's Pizza is a must for any visit to Marco Island. Pinchers does a good "you catch, we cook" which we took advantage of following our day of fishing. Dinner @ Sunset Grille was just OK. We didn't make it to Lee Be Fish this trip which was too bad. It will be on the top of the list for the next visit.
Wake Up Marco was a new discovery for early morning coffee. LOVED it! It's in a strip near the corner of N Collier and Bald Eagle. If you're up before Doreen's opens and want to patronize local businesses, try this place.
We would definitely like to stay at Michelle's beach condo again!

This is our second year on Marco Island and we will definitely be back. Michelle's condo is simply the best. She has everything you need there. The condo is very up to date-clean-spacious-very well decorated. Some places have so much stuff everywhere as far as furniture/decor you just feel cramped, and when your on vacation you just want to get away from life's "clutter" . Michelle's condo is perfect! Large closets, walk in showers, full kitchen, washer/dryer etc... She has pretty much everything there you need including the cart to wheel you stuff to the beach in! The property is very well kept, gated, you have to have keys (fobs) to access the property. Everyone we encountered on the property was extremely nice (managers ,maintenance,tenants) Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
Michelle has already processed our return deposit and we've only been home a week.
I would definitely recommend Michelle's condo or if it wasn't available Somerset in general .....if you want a quite peaceful place to go to relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset and watch a few dolphins then this is your place...thank you again for sharing..
Perfect vacation spot!!
The condo was perfect for our family! The views are amazing, the beach is private and the condo itself is beautifully decorated with everything you might need! Booking was a cinch and Michelle was a pleasure to work with. We will be back!

A great condo in Marco Island. The view of the sunsets were becautiful and very peaceful. The condo is very well maintaned and equipped with everything you need including beach chairs and umbrellas. Quiet town and very relaxing!
