Welcome Home - Cozy Top Floor Unit With Divide and Ski Resort Views
Our mountain home is an updated two bedroom two bath condo that offers high speed Internet (a secure network for our condo only) and high definition TV as well as everything else you need for your vacation. This is a desirable end unit condo on the top floor which features vaulted ceilings and extra windows for lots of light and a spacious feel. It has spectacular views of the continental divide and the Winter Park ski area from the front. The back deck is surrounded by a forest of swaying log pole pines. Our condo is a short walk to town and in the winter the ski bus stops right in front of our building and goes straight to the ski area with no other stops. It is nestled in the back of the complex next to the national forest so there are trails for hiking, biking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing right out your front door.
Our mountain home has an updated and redesigned kitchen with new maple cabinets, custom slab granite countertops and high end tile flooring. It has all the cookware and appliances you will need to prepare a nice meal. The new design opens the entire living area up for a much more spacious feel. The dining table seats 6 and there is an island in the kitchen that seats 2. Our condo has a large living space with a gas fireplace and a new high definition 50 inch Samsung TV. We just upgraded to high definition cable in the living room as well as secure high speed internet for our home. This provides our guests a much faster, more reliable internet than the other condos which share internet with all the other units in the building. The master bedroom features a new euro top king bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds. Each bedroom is equipped with cable TV and DVD player. The living room has a blue ray player.
The Beaver Village clubhouse has a heated indoor pool, hot tubs, sauna, laundry facility, free movies, meeting room and catering kitchen. The pool, hot tubs and sauna are subject to reservation system or closure due to Covid restrictions.
Our mountain home is on free shuttle route to Winter Park Resort and town of Winter Park (winter only). Shuttle goes through the Beaver Village Condos complex every hour. There are no stops from our complex to the Winter Park resort so it's a very quick ride. You can walk to town including parks, shops, concerts in the park, restaurants and bars. Our condo is a 5 minute drive to the Winter Park ski area and a 30 minute drive to Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Forest.

We purchased our mountain home in January 2015 so we could enjoy Winter Park with our family. We enjoy skiing, hiking, biking and just relaxing in the mountains. We live in Denver so it just a quick drive for a weekend away.
Why they chose this property
This condo is special because as a top floor unit it has vaulted ceilings and extra windows to let all the wonderful light in. It also has the best view of the Continental Divide and the Winter Park Ski area since it is in the back of the complex and on the top floor. Beaver Village is also convenient to the town of Winter Park as well as the ski area. We can walk to dinner, shops, concerts and sledding in the town park. It's great! The drive or bus ride from Fraser may only be 10-15 minutes, but it can feel a lot longer when you are ready to get on the slopes.
What makes this property unique
We recently upgraded the internet and the cable in our mountain home. This means you don't have to share a slow network with the entire building. It also means after a long day skiing you and your family/friends can enjoy high definition TV or movies in the living room.
As I mentioned, our mountain home is unique because of its views, extra windows and wonderful light. The lower floor units have really low ceilings and are super dark. I'm a person who likes the Colorado sunshine!
We also upgraded and redesigned the kitchen last summer. It now has new maple cabinets, custom granite slab countertops and high end tile flooring. The new design really opens up the main living area so it feels spacious.
Last, but not least, our mountain home has one of the best views in Beaver Village! You can sit on the front porch and enjoy a wonderful view of the continental divide and the ski area. Building 16 is situated just perfectly and being on the East end of the building our condo has an amazing unobstructed view. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
