Ancient Live Oaks draped with a profusion of Spanish moss serve to add both grandeur and privacy to your surroundings. The home has lots of windows making a bright interior but also make the forest canopy and wildlife a key element of the décor. One bedroom and BRAND NEW convertible queen sofa (sleeps 4) One Full Bath, Washer/Dryer, and Hi-Definition Cable TV with High Speed Wi-Fi Internet. One large wrap around porch to enjoy the beautiful surrounding landscape. This is a meticulously cared for home that has just undergone several major improvements. It’s a place where you can relax, put your feet and up, and enjoy. Your vacation will also come at a reasonable cost.
Like the Forest Preserve? You'll love Night Heron: Night Heron was one of the first communities to be developed at Sea Pines. Shortly after it was established the founders decided to set aside a vast portion of the resort as a forest preserve. The area they selected was adjacent to Night Heron and as a result the homes here are now virtually part of the 605-acre Sea Pines Forest Preserve. The density of trees and shrubbery also provide natural air conditioning on those hot summer days. You’ll feel as one with nature as you enjoy a beverage on the beautiful wrap around porch and watch the dappled sun fade into darkness, while listening to the teeming wildlife in your back yard lagoon. There is also a private, fresh-water, community swimming pool within a hundred yards of the front door.
Golf: Sea Pines Golf is Legendary: Hilton Head Island is ten miles long and boasts twenty-nine golf courses. Among this dazzling array of choices, The Sea Pines Resort is the most prestigious and well known. It is home to the world famous “Harbourtown Golf Links”, rated #1 in South Carolina, and among the nation’s top 100. Harbourtown, with its famous lighthouse towering over the eighteenth green, has hosted the Heritage Golf Tournament for the past 36 years. A challenge for the likes of Nicklaus, Palmer, and Norman it is but one of three exceptional courses within the resort. You can also experience the new “Heron Point” redesign by Pete Dye with its challenging greens, and emphasis on strategy. The Sea Pines “Ocean Course is also a favorite of residents and visitors alike. As a guest at “Just Imagine” you’ll be able to make advance reservations to play any, or all three, of the Sea Pines courses

Good space for us
This little bungalow was close to everything, especially the ocean. The deck was great for our 2 dogs to be out without the walk. The sofa needs to be replaced and a grill would be nice, but it was great for our 2 week stay
First visit to Hilton Head
The two of us and our dog spent the first week of 2018 at the Cottage. Great space, good location. Close to the beach, restaurants, shopping and churches. Comfortable facility with lots of space for our springer spaniel. Unfortunately we were there during the snow and freezing rain but the cottage held up well and was warm and cozy during the storm. The mattress on the bed and the couch are worn, and could be replaced and there wasn't a blow dryer provided. But we would consider returning to this cottage for a future vacation.
ok but no protected wifi.
it was ok
Perfect vacation getaway!
The accommodations at Night Heron Unit 13 were perfect for a long Labor Day weekend getaway. The unit was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The couch was not so comfortable to sit on but it would not keep me from returning. The location was a perfect 5 minute walk to the beach and the bike trail went right by the entrance to Night Heron. I loved the fact that it was pet friendly! The owner was easy to contact and responded promptly to any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this as a vacation rental.
Absolutely loved it! Perfect getaway!
The cute bungalow was a joy for our week in Hilton Head. It has more room than you think by having great use of space. It is a short walk to the beach down a path that you get to use, and once you are at the beach, you realize how much privacy you have there. (No hotels to the left or right). You are in Sea Pines, so you are surrounded by tall trees and wildlife. We saw alligators, deer, herons, etc. The washer and dryer in the unit were a big plus. We will definitely go back!
Great little place near the beach and amenities.
This was a perfect place for a long weekend at the beach for four of us. Easy bicycling/walking distance to the lovely beach used by families in the area.
Hilton Head offers over twelve miles of gorgeous beach. Our home is located in the middle of the most desirable mile. The nearest public access (Forest Beach at Coligney Circle) is over a mile to the north. The nearest hotel is a mile to the south. In between those two points the majority of homes are single-family units. The multi-story villas and apartments available for rent are adjacent to Forest Beach. What all of this means is that very few people have easy access to the long, wide and beautiful section of beach in front of Night Heron. You will appreciate the privacy and available space to put your beach chair and relax. And it is only a seven-minute walk (2/10 mile) on your private path to the dunes. “Just Imagine” at Night Heron is a free standing home shaded by towering Long Needle and Loblolly Pines. All landscaping is natural with fan-like Saw Palmettos, Cabbage Palms, and native grasses with ancient Live Oaks draped with a profusion of Spanish moss.
