About this property

See All of Seattle ~ Sleep Six in Lovely Magnolia/Discovery Park Home!

A short ride (via auto or local bus) into downtown Seattle and a leisurely walk to Discovery Park, our comfortable, bright home invites you and your guests into a living/dining/kitchen space that is made to share!

The fully equipped kitchen has lovely bamboo flooring and a large gas cook top. Microwave, blender, Keurig pot, coffee pot, toaster, electric tea kettle, full spice rack, coffee and tea round out the kitchen supplies. For added work space there is a bamboo island equipped with numerous cutting boards.

In addition to the kitchen table which seats 6, there are 3 stools at the kitchen bar. A separate dining room also seats 6 at a large and expandable wood table.

The primary bedroom has a queen bed and a large en suite bath with double sinks, a large bathtub and a separate tiled shower. The middle bedroom has a queen bed, and the front bedroom has two extra-long twin beds. All beds have quality linens. The two front bedrooms share a bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

There is a keyless entry for the front door. Relax on the backyard patio or curl up with a book or your favorite TV program in the living room. You will enjoy high speed internet for work or streaming as well as Xfinity TV channels.

The house is on one floor and handicapped accessible from the back entry. Parking is on the street in front of the house. Be sure to page through our visitor's library of Seattle books and magazines!

Each time we visited our daughter and her family in Magnolia we loved the area more and more! It is very close to all the fun that Seattle offers, and at the same time, so relaxed and friendly. When we found this beautifully remodeled home, we could not resist buying it. Each time we visit we discover an interesting shop or a great new restaurant. There is nothing more beautiful than Seattle and Puget Sound on a sunny day...or on a wet one for that matter! We hope you will come to enjoy it as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

The house lends itself to shared cooking and good meals with family and friends. Our entire family weighed in on which amenities they count as important for guests, and we've tried to be sure all those are available at the house! It's also lovely to step outside the door and know you can be walking in beautiful Discovery Park or downtown Magnolia within minutes. We love taking the bus (and skipping parking costs) to downtown Seattle where you can easily walk to so many sights.
