Welcome to Hidden Creek Lodge! This spacious home offers many amenities, yet is nestled in seclusion against the San Juan National Forest. Located at Columbine Lake and less than 2 miles from Purgatory Ski Resort, you can enjoy a wide array of activities in minutes. The home features commercial-grade, high-speed Starlink satellite internet. Televisions in the living room and every bedroom offer Apple TV, allowing you to connect your favorite online entertainment account. The living room TV raises from a hide-away cabinet and can pivot towards the front deck hot tub. The loft has a PS4 gaming system to entertain the kids. The large downstairs living area has a furnace-fireplace and soaring picture windows to take in the views. Soak in the hot tub on the front deck while enjoying panoramic views of the famous red cliffs. The back deck has patio seating and overlooks a small private pond and creek with a backdrop of Aspen trees. The spacious open kitchen and dining area features a gas fireplace, a dining table with 4 chairs plus bench, and bar stools for 4. The kitchen is fully equipped and has views of the forested backyard. There is a full bath on this floor and all bathrooms in the home feature heated floors. The laundry room offers a high-efficiency, large-capacity washer and dryer. Upstairs the Master Suite has a King Bed and private bath with jetted tub, steam shower, and double vanity. Enjoy stunning views from the picture windows and there is a private balcony deck with hanging chair. Bedroom 2 features a Queen Bed and views of the cliffs. Bedroom 3 has a Queen bed and an open loft-style section of wall which overlooks the living room. There is an attached two car garage.

This home was a perfect place to land for our relaxing vacation in the Durango area! We hiked and fished during the day and enjoyed the evenings in the hot tub to relax! The views from the home where amazing! We can't wait to come back!

Gorgeous home!!

We have stayed in many Red Cliff Properties and loved them! This one was another wonderful beautiful place!We saw wildlife and enjoyed the peaceful relaxing setting! My bed was so comfortable! Winter Wonderland

We had an incredible ski trip! The house is absolutely beautiful and met all of our needs perfectly. The views were breathtaking, and it snowed as we drove and it made it feel like a true winter wonderland. Skiing was fantastic, and the resort being so close to the house was a huge bonus. We definitely needed 4WD to get to the house, but it was totally worth it! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay—it was an unforgettable experience!

This was a fantastic home and perfect for our family! Beautiful kitchen with all the amenities of not only kitchen items but also with stocked pantry items. Our only complaint would be the mosquitios as we couldn't enjoy the hot tub without getting eaten! Would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

Beautiful house just secluded enough to enjoy the outdoors with no city hustle. Great location for enjoying Durango, Purgatory, Silverton and Ouray! Easy to get to from 550 and situated where you could go north or south to explore the beauty of the San Juan Forest and colorful Colorado. House was well stocked and had everything. Very comfortable beds and fantastic views. Easy to communicate with rental company.

Great Neighborhood

The area is perfect if you are looking for a mountain getaway. The neighborhood has a lake which is accessible for fishing and kayaking. The surrounding forest is a mix of aspen and pine the lot sizes of houses are large and give you space to feel like you are in nature. Much better then Engineer Village where the homes are all crowded together like a cheap suburb. Everything in the house was as described, communication with the seller was excellent.

Some bothersome things

I should have looked closer but didn’t realize one bedroom had a half wall open to the living room. Kind of a loft. The dish washer and ice maker did not work so we had to do dishes by hand and buy ice. The dish had very intermittent reception but we didn’t watch much anyway. Overall the house was good and the location worked great for us.

Our stay at this property was great! House was bigger than the photos depicted which was awesome. Loved the proximity to Purgatory resort. Parking for our big truck was spacious. We weren’t prepared for the wood burning furnace maintenance but it wasn’t too bad.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend on the west slope. The home is beautiful and conveniently located between Durango and Silverton, allowing us to explore all of our favorite mountain communities. Each night we came home from a long day of exploring and enjoyed some relaxing time in the hot tub. I highly recommend this property!
