Our two bedroom, two bath condo locate at Fairway Villas in Waikoloa Beach Resort (not Waikoloa Village) is beautifully decorated and furnished in an island style for your comfort and has been recently upgraded with new smart TV, carpeting, Fanimation ceiling fans, plantation shutters, crown molding, new washer/dryer, refrigerator and central air conditioning. The unit is located on the second floor and easily accessed by elevator or stairs. The condo is in the G building away from the road facing the golf course and mountains. With a fully equipped kitchen and upgraded stainless steel appliances, you can enjoy meals in the dining area, at the bar stools in the kitchen, or on the lanai overlooking the golf course with a view of the Kohala Mountains.

An infinity pool overlooking the King’s Lake, a BBQ with a picnic area, and a fitness center are nearby for your use.

Located within the world class Waikoloa Beach Resort, our condo is walking distance to both the Queen’s Marketplace and King’s Shops for dining out options and shopping. Also nearby, is the ancient petroglyph trail – a must see!

A new flat screen TV, DVD player, cable, board games and great summer reads can be found in the living room area for your enjoyment.

Additional amenities include central A/C, a washer and dryer, with complimentary laundry soap, designated covered parking, and free wi-fi. A folding futon (full size) is available for additional guests. Also included is a starter pack of soap, shampoo, cleaning supplies and paper products.

The well-appointed master bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen TV, and a walk-in closet. The master bathroom, with recently upgraded designer fixtures, has both a soaking tub and separate shower.

The guest bedroom has two twin beds and a large closet. The adjoining guest bathroom also has been upgraded with new fixtures.

Great snorkeling and swimming can be found nearby (10 minute walk from condo) at Anaeho'omalu Bay (A-Bay). Hapuna Beach, great for boogie boarding, is just 10 minutes by car, as well as several other amazing beaches. Beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, cooler, and an umbrella are in the unit for your use.

Two golf courses are available at the Waikoloa Beach Resort; the Beach Course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., and the King’s Course designed by Tom Weiskopf. Nearby (within 15 minutes), you will also find several other world-class courses including the Mauna Lani course, the Mauna Kea, and Hapuna Beach designed by Arnold Palmer.

Nearby you can enjoy the spas and restaurants at the Marriott. Be sure to visit the dolphins and take a tram to the shops and restaurants of the Hilton as well. Experience a luau and enjoy the sunset over the ocean. Play golf on world class courses. There are so many activities and there is something for everyone!

Beautiful accommodation

This is a fabulous apartment overlooking the golf course. It is beautifully decorated and furnished, and is well equipped with everything you could possibly need.

It is close to both Kings & Queens shops. There is nothing not to like about a stay here, we thoroughly recommend it.

Awesome stay!

The place was clean and had all amenities that we needed. Good location- walking distance to King’s shop and Queen’s market place. The unit has relax golf course view. You can see beautiful sunrise from the lanai as well. We’d love to be back!

Great central location, well appointed condo, 5 stars.

Our overall experience could not have been better.

This particular condo has everything and more to enjoy a week or two on the Big Island.

Well equipped as many have mentioned. Similar to many condos in the area but one difference we noted is that being privately owned and not part of resort rentals there were many extras that were unexpected. Four beach chairs, umbrella, 4 Boards, beach towels, cooler. Owners or previous guests had left shampoos, conditioners, sun tan lotions, fridge was stocked with condiments, kitchen had spices, food wraps and so much more. Saves a lot having these extras and great to have a variety. Bought many things ourselves and left more than we used for the next guests.

Used the pool almost every day. Some spring break kids but quiet enough not to be disturbed. Nice Weber grills down by the pool and enough that never had to wait to use. The Lanai as mentioned by others is so nice for relaxing meals, drinks, naps and watch the occasional golfer go by. The entire complex is very quiet by 9pm. Long days of fresh air, exercise and sun likely the cause for this. Many early risers which was fine for us.

The resort is situated in a great central location. Easy walk to Anaehoomalu Beach where you will find the Marriott and Hilton. Right next to two small malls which might sound terrible but far enough away you would never notice and convenient when you need them. Queens Market Place offers shops, many restaurants and a new movie theater. Stopped in Gourmet Grocer many times for smaller grocery items, souvenirs and they have a great deli. Kings Shops across the pond has finer shops and places to eat. Larger grocery stores like Foodland and KTA only 15 minute drive.

The weather during our stay April 8-19 was terrible for most of the Hawaiian Islands with record rainfall, power outages, wash outs. We were so pleased we chose this resort as the weather here on the Kohala Coast was beautiful. High 80's, sun every day and only rain was at night. Didn't dare venture to the West side or Volcano with all the rains and it was nice to spend more time at the local beaches. Short drive to Mauna Lani's two beaches for snorkeling in the mornings and Mauna Kea(our favorite beach but must get there by 8am with very limited parking) for swimming and snorkeling, Hapuna for swimming and body surfing. Bonus points for location and proximity to the finest beaches in Hawaii.

Memories made, happy kids, happy family :)

When we arrived, the lights were on and it was such a welcoming little spot, we immediately felt right at home. We stayed here with our 3 and 5 year old kids for one week, and it was perfect! The condo had all that we needed, including a pink snorkel set that fit our 5 year old perfectly! She wore the flippers in the pool, in the ocean, anywhere she could. There was also boogie boards, umbrellas for the beach and chairs - we felt like we were local and knew what we were doing!

The kitchen had all the tools we needed and then some. We loved coffee on the lanai overlooking the golf course and a few of the nights you could hear the luau music from the Marriott. Gorgeous greens to gaze at as well!

The beds were pretty comfy and there were extra pillows if we needed them. Plenty of towels for the condo and for the beach/pool too. The bathtub in the master bath is a deep one and perfect for soaking kids after a big day of playing. They loved it!

The Pool at the condo is great! Our kids were a little loud and I was worried we would bother people, but they seemed OK. There was a lot of other families throughout the week too. It was 200 steps away from the condo, we counted our steps :)

Having the washer/dryer and dishwasher is always nice too. We didn't have to pack as much stuff which is always nice too. The condo is in a very quiet space, we didn’t hear our neighbors or traffic or anything – very relaxing.

Being a 5-10 minute walk from the Queens Shops and Kings shops was huge! It was so nice to be able to grocery shop, go to a restaurant or shop around if we wanted to. We were also about 10-15 minute walk from the A-Bay Beach and the Lava Lava Beach Club (which has great music and a hula dancer most nights of the week, good food and drinks too!)

The condo is also about a 7-minute drive to the other grocery we found, Foodland, in Mauna Lani which has great Poke Bowls to go! Good fruit and a liquor store as well.

Our favorite spot is Hapuna Beach, 7 mile drive away. It has beautiful white sand, good waves for playing and bathrooms. Its gorgeous! Be sure to pack the umbrellas and your cooler though, it gets hot there. Beach 69 is another one that is close with more shade.

Would definitely stay again! Thank you for opening your condo to our family, great memories made!

Perfect!

Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us! We've been to the Big Island and Waikoloa a few times but I think we found our new 'home away from home' in your condo. The location, the price and the unit's layout were perfect for our family of four. It was also fully stocked with towels, cookware, plates/cups, and beach supplies. We loved eating our meals on the lanai and watching the golfers. Our only complaints would be that we weren't in love with the pool area or the fact that we didn't have a bbq on the deck, but that's not of a reflection on the condo in particular. Next time we're in Waikoloa, we're hoping we're able to rent from Barry and Susan again!

Great location

The condo is in a great location, very clean and stocked with everything that we needed for our 8 day stay. It is tastefully decorated with beach and Hawai'i themed items and pictures. The condos sleeping arrangements were not ideal for us (four adults), the main bedroom with the king bed was great! But, the second bedroom was very bright in the room at night, as the outside condo lights for the walkways are kept on all night. And, the beds are very small, not the best for adults. Other then those two things the condo was great. Barry and Susan were quick to response to emails and easy to deal with. The grounds around the condo are very well taken care of, with beautiful flowers and trees. The King's shops and the Queen's Market place are within walking distance and had a lot of stores, restaurants, a grocery store each. Lots of beaches along the Queen highway, getting to Kona is an easy drive, and Waikoloa Village is a close drive to a larger grocery store.
