Sweet space with a kind host
The space is clean and comfortable. Everything we wanted for a couple of nights. Barbara is kind, friendly and thoughtful. She even provided breakfast!
Perfect, peaceful and pretty.
More than I had hoped for a short sisters get away. Perfect, private and peaceful. Near downtown Ocean Springs. We chatted with Barbara, a sweet lady.
Quaint Loft, Great Location
Our first visit to Ocean Springs, and we thought a VRBO the way to go. Pineapple Palms was a great find. The walk the the heart of the downtown area is a couple of blocks, well lighted at night, and takes only minutes. The room is nicely furnished, although not a lot of extra space. Not a place where you'd want to hang out and watch TV. The morning we did not go out for breakfast, Barbara provide a very nice continental breakfast. The owners were very nice, very helpful. A really good experience.
Quiet and Comfortable
Pineapple Palms is a great little place! It’s quaint and the twin bed I slept in was very comfortable! The sheets are terrific! Downtown OS activities are all within walking distance from the apartment. Miss Barbara was very gracious and hospitable.
Perfect place for a family visit
Quiet and clean, lovely hospitality. I stayed for a few days over Christmas to visit with my son, at Keesler AFB. Barbara made us feel at home, recommending places for dinner and leaving us a delicious loaf of strawberry bread. Could not recommend more.
Studio oozes cuteness! Very thoughtful host!
The Pineapple Palms Studio was so cute. Breakfast each morning was picture-worthy. Though it wasn't super filling, it was made with warmth and love and was sometimes accompanied by a sweet note. It included a small baked item, like a muffin, which was so good that it was obviously homemade. And Barbara even gave us two small baggies of granola the night before we left because we had to be out before the crack of dawn the next day to catch a 6am flight. That's a level of thoughtfulness one doesn't expect. But it was so kind and I felt so touched.
As far as the specifics of the room are concerned: The water in the shower was nice and hot. The only drawback was that the studio didn't have a queen size bed, just two singles, and no sofa just two armchairs. But we were in town to visit family and on most days spent very little time in the studio. For the price, it was worth the adjustment for a few days. And having all that space to myself made for good sleep. Though the room doesn't include any dressers, there are several baskets, cubbyholes, and hooks for storing items, which worked fine for unpacking. A day into our stay we discovered that behind the moveable screen is a small closet with lots of hangers and hooks. That was very helpful. Also FYI, even though I don't think the property listing notes it, the unit does include a hairdryer. I took a risk with not packing my own and was happy to discover that was the right move.
