This is the Lower Unit ,of our 2 unit condo on the Bay.

This is the downstairs unit. It has a fully enclosed private deck over looking the Bay. It is a 1 bedroom unit with a queen bed, full kitchen, bathroom and Living room and , stacked washer and dryer . French doors open up to the private deck. The view of the sunrises and sunsets are amazing. You can walk down to your own private beach. When the tide is out you can clam.

We stayed here for one night on our way down the coast. The condo was clean and had a great view. We had to drive down the road to a motel/RV park to get the electronic code for the door which was strange, but overall we had a good time.

Nice getaway

Great little place right on the water…loved having the window cracked at night. Can be quite windy at times, but we lucked out with a couple sunny, calm days in the middle of our stay. Places like Walmart are very close too. We’d definitely come back.

The property was fine for a weekend. Wish the gas fireplace worked. Also more then 1 wine glass would have been nice. Very conveniently located for what we wanted to do. People upstairs were very noisy so if that bothers you reconsider.

Unfortunately we do not have a gas fireplace. We do have an Electric fireplace/heater that does work. Thank you for letting me know about the glasses- I will talk to the cleaners and get more over there. Also we do not allow seafood/fish to be cooked in unit and it was boiled all over the stove.

The condo wasn't very clean but sufficient. Check in was easy.Note that there is no dishwasher so the dishes and cutlery were a gamble. The view of the bay is nice but the glare of the afternoon sun on the water is blinding. Not as nice as it looks.

Nice and easy

Clean, great location. We were only there for one night but enjoyed it thoroughly. Sunset view was amazing ! Saw a mother and calf Orca swimming up the bay! Very nice!

Fantastic location!

We loved being 20' from the waters edge and being able to observe the tidal changes twice a day and watching the wildlife react and benefit to the tide changes. We loved all the windows in the doors, letting in so much light and giving an expansive view of the bay and peninsula across the bay. The only nit is the very narrow driveway, which is challenging after dark.

Very nice condo

This was a very well appointed and maintained property. It was close to all of the things we wanted to see and do. My only complaint is that the couch is very uncomfortable to sit on and there isn't a good reading light. Otherwise it was the perfect place to stay in Coos Bay.

The location was convenient and the view of the bay was enjoyable. The kitchen was under-supplied (e.g., not even a dishtowel), so if you wanted to cook, it would not be easy. We ate out and only stayed one night, so it was good enough for us this time

Cute but needs updating.

The property was very attractive and right on the water which was very pleasant to sit and listen to the waves and sit in the Sun. We booked it for two nights but only stayed one, unfortunately the bed was so uncomfortable we did not want to stay another night. Also which I agree with the house rules were no pets and no kids. But a couple came in on the floor above us and they definitely had a child that we listen to running back and forth well into the evening. We would definitely book this place and stay again if the furniture was more comfortable.

WARNING: Just say no. Do not stay here!

We did not stay. Left after we entered. The pictures do match the listing. However, the description does not. There is no “private” beach. You’re sharing with the person above (which I think is a permanent resident), so that’s not what I consider private. And it’s not a beach to make a sand castle at or lay out on. Secondly, there is no safe way to make it to the beach. The whole neighborhood is sketchy and the condo had an awful musty smell. The lady that checked us in was snotty at first because she didn’t have our reservation (she was nice when we drove to her, to pick up the keys). There was leftover food still in the fridge from the previous customer, from God knows when. It was disgusting. The whole town was gross, run down, closed and over populated with “RV parks” where the RVs never leave. We did not stay the night there, it felt very unsafe and sketchy. Do not go here unless you want to end up on the missing person list. Not safe. Not clean enough. Traces of dog hair on the couch. Just say no, unless you don’t mind these kind of things! We didn’t ask for a refund because we didn’t want to deal with them.

Quiet and Cozy

Very much enjoyed our short stay here. Was very peaceful with a comfy bed. For sunrise it was lovely strolling the beach and seeing all the shorebirds. All in all, a great little place!

Excellent place to stay

The property was in an excellent location and just beautiful. We ended up staying an extra night because we didn't want to leave. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. This place is a great time.

Bad bed

The bed at this property has a huge dip in the middle, and a plastic mattress cover that crinkled every time I turned over. While I understand the owner couldn’t control the people upstairs, perhaps a rules flyer with “no laundry allowed after 10 pm” would have helped the tennis shoes in the dryer at midnight.

One of the best

We (my wife and I ) was so pleased. It was wonderful. Had we known it was going to be so awesome we would have stayed to nights instead of a motel in Bandon. We definitely will be back.

Nice but doesn’t have all needed essentials.

The place is very conveniently located. Excellent river view. Description says it accommodates three adults, but there was no additional bedding and no extra blankets provided for the sleeper couch. Kitchen minimally stocks with cooking items. No dishwasher. No extra towels. The light switches do not work. There are stand along light fixtures that you have to walk to to turn on lights. Parking is limited. Tub needs to be resurfaced.

We could stay for a month!

Perfect place to see the bay come up to meet you. Kitchen stocked pretty good. No spices or condiments except coffee. Would definitely stay again.
