Racquet Club Garden Villas holiday lettings

The photos are accurate, but just to not do the condo justice. It is airy, clean, spacious, well decorated and comes complete with absolutely everything you could think of that you might need for a vacation.... we tried to come up with something that was missing, and couldn't :o) Communications with Jim and later with Todd were faultless, with both responding immediately to queries. It was nice knowing that Todd was close by if there were any problems and I'm sure he thought I was going to be the bane of his life as the first couple of days I had to call a few times, but every query was resolved without fuss and without delay (I will add, most were my problem, not the condo's!). We were forewarned by Jim about resurfacing to the parking area, Todd reminded us of this when we checked in and a resident popped out to check that we were aware too... A really friendly environment. The pool was ours alone for most of the time, as were the grapefruit (which thankfully had had time to grow back since a previous reviewer ate them all). And the permanent residents we met were very friendly even though they weren't initially keen on the idea of short term lets, they admitted that to date they've had no problems with noisy or reckless let-ees so are growing fonder of the idea particularly as they appear keen to chat.. if you want to. Easy to find and with great road links to whatever direction you're headed. Despite driving on the wrong side of the road (we're British) we found our way around both Palm Springs and many places within a 2hr radius with relative ease. Do make sure you go up the Aerial Tramway, the difference at 8500ft from the desert floor so close by is amazing, as too is the Joshua Tree national park which is less than an hour away by car. If art is your thing, there is some in Palm Springs, but head to El Passeo in Palm Desert for some amazing art galleries. Oh, and don't forget Thursday evenings, and VillageFest where they close off part of Palm Canyon Drive for stalls, entertainers and all sorts, many of the shops remain open late too - great vibe. We wholeheartedly recommend Jim's condo to anyone and everyone and I know if we're back in Palm Springs we'll be looking to book up again. You can't go wrong with this place.
