A Very Comfortable Stay

A spacious, comfortable, condo in a secure well maintained complex. The pool area was very enjoyable, as was watching the golfers from the deck with our morning coffee.

Fabulous

Our home away from home. We love it here. Thank you Lourdes, Gerardo and Julia for making our stay wonderful. Beach and grocery stores are within walking distance. Condo is lovely, very well appointed and has everything you need for a terrific stay. Can hardly wait to return. Thanks again, Rick

Wonderful stay

March 2019. We love everything about this condo and feel very much at home here. The condo is in a great location, within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and grocery stores. Fantastic

We had a wonderful stay in San Jose and absolutely loved the condo. We felt very much at home there from the minute we walked through the door. Gerardo was very nice and accommodating and looked after everything we needed. The condo is very well appointed and provided us with almost everything we needed. A suggestion would be beach chairs for the beach as it is a very short walk from the condo and a great beach to spend the day on. The balcony offers excellent views of the golf course and sunsets.

gorgeous condo, great owner, perfect neighbourhood

The condo was beautiful. The people are amazing. The neighbourhood can't be beat. Our minor issues: one shower did not work for the duration of our stay which made it a bit chaotic for 4 people and the cleaners we were told we would have weekly didn't come(most likely because we stayed over Christmas so we understood).These truly didn't affect our stay. This condo is worth it, it is extensively renovated, full of everything you could need and in a safe area super close to shops and the beach. the owner is incredibly responsive to any questions and very accommodating. Definitely recommend!

Great experience!

We spent a delightful month in this condo, near the end of the summer low season. The unit is very well located on the top floor, with a great view of the golf course and sunset. We could even lay in the sun from about 3-5pm on our own, very private balcony. There are screened doors and windows on opposite sides of the condo, so it gets a very nice cross-breeze during the night. If anyone is worried about Zika, we never saw a mosquito here. There was pesticide fogging done occasionally in various locations around the neighborhood and golf course, but the very consistent breeze always carried it away from our condo. This particular unit really has an ideal location. The furniture and all appliances are very good quality and work well. The whole-house water purifier is an extremely nice feature. The place was very clean when we arrived, including all of the extensive sets of silverware, glasses, dishes, pots and pans, and so forth. The internet was very consistent (down only once, after a storm in the middle of the night for a few hours), and the speed is 3Mbps down, 0.3Mbps up. That's fast enough for IP calling services like Skype, and for two or three people to watch Netflix at the same time. The owner was quick to respond to all communications, even though they were traveling when I first made an inquiry. We did not have a car, and didn't miss one. The nearby supermarket has a good selection. The whole area is very safe day and night, and there's a public beach access a short walk away, right next to the Barceló. We had a great time here. It's obvious the owners and manager have put a lot of thought, time, and care into making their guests feel welcome and comfortable. We sure did!

Fabulous accommodation

The condo is spotless and is equipped with every amenity you would want. The view of the golf course from the 3rd floor unit is beautiful and I enjoyed sitting on the big deck reading or just watching the sun come up with a cup of coffee. The condo is VERY spacious and within walking distance to many great restaurants. It is a 20 minute walk to Centro (downtown San Jose) and about 15 minutes to Mega (supermarket). No need for a car and Uber is very cheep, about $2.50 US anywhere in San Jose. A wonderful amenity was the option for the property manager to stock the condo with food and beer, etc so you don’t have to run off right away to get groceries. Oh and Gerardo the Manager was very responsive to questuins. We loved this condo and would definitely return. This is a 3rd floor condo with no elevator so you will get your excercise when you carry up groceries. Lastly, the owner is always available for questions and there is a cleaning lady that comes once a week. We love it here. Thank you Lourdes

Clean, newly decorated with art, well equipped, spacious!

This is our third time to Peninsula, as usual, we enjoyed our stay. The unit is great. Any issues are handled quickly!! Property manager is accessible and is extremely helpful for any info required. I broke my screen on my phone and he supplied the person that could fix it! We love staying at Peninsula because its walking distance to the beach, groceries, downtown, shopping and restaurants. Just an excellent 2 bedroom as described.

Very impressive 2 bedroom w/ all the amenities very close to downtown San Jose del Cabo bordering a golf course. Would definitely stay there again.

Very clean, modern, and well equipped.

From the moment we walked through the front door I was amazed at the attention to detail and small touches that made this property feel like home. The filtered water throughout the unit was very nice, enjoyed the fact the fridge had an ice machine as well!! If I had any troubles they were rectified immediately by Lourdes and her property manager Gerardo! (Battery died in the lock keypad and we were locked out temporarily but the property manager was there asap to let us in and change the battery). Location is perfect and is within walking distance to the downtown square, grocery store and several small restaurants and shops. As a golfer i enjoyed the view we had of the 8th hole. We befriended many of the ladies that own and live there most of the year they are very friendly and welcoming. One thing I would recommend is renting a car from the airport best prices you will get. We rented a compact car from fox rental for 29$/day including all insurance and could have gotten it cheaper If we would have booked online. Overall very happy with our stay and our experience. Will definitely stay again!!

Loved our time in San Jose del Cabo!

We spent a wonderful 8 weeks at the Pensinsula condo apartment and loved every single day! We were sad to leave! The apartment is a 10-15 minute walk to Mega (a great supermarket where we did all of our shopping) and 20-25 min walk to downtown San Jose. There is a lovely pool which had wifi. The surrounding grounds are well maintained and the security guard (& all staff) are ver friendly. The apartment is fully stocked with everything you would need. Cooked most days in the kitchen, very high quality pots, pans & utensils. The master bedroom is huge, very comfy bed, great quality bedding, towels and nice shower. Fast wifi was great. We didn't use the bbq but there was a nice new one on the big balcony overlooking the golf course. Great a/c. Washer & dryer were really good as well. We felt very safe and at home on our stay- wish it was longer! We joined the gym near by (5 min walk at Plaza Pescado). Couldn't recommend this apartment more. Gerardo the property manager was always very quick to help when we needed anything! Thanks again we loved our stay and would definitely come back and stay again!!

Loved this condo

We really enjoyed our stay so much that we booked already for the fall. Everything was clean and new. Peninsula is very central for walking to the beach, Mega and Walmart. As well close to little boutique shops and great restaurants. We highly recommend this condo Terry and Igor

Peninsula condo review

We found the condo to be clean, well appointment with an obvious pride of ownership. It was within walking distance to restaurants and shopping as stated. It is a 5 minute drive to the art district in San Jose del Cabo, attractions, dining etc. and about a 20-25 minute drive to the Cabo Marina area. I would recommend this condo.

Clean and Modern

My son and I enjoyed our stay over the holidays. The condo looks like it was recently updated and most appliances and kitchen ware appears new. The property looks over the golf course and is just a short walk from the beach. Several restaurants and a grocery store are nearby. The pool area is especially nice and we enjoyed lounging there when we weren't at the beach. We definitely would return!
