Disney Family Vacation

The property was really nice, management was wonderful and quick to answer questions. The drive to Disney and Universal wasn't too bad, except for Florida traffic. The pool and spa were a giant hit with the family. If we ever come this way again we would definitely stay here again.

Great family getaway

The neighborhood was quiet, a reasonable 25 minutes to Disney and the pool and hot tub were the real highlight of the house. Plenty of space for everyone with rooms leftover. Had a some slow plumbing issues that were resolved with their local property manager. Would recommend.

Family trip to Disney

We had a lovely stay.The house and pool are great. Jason was excellent at comms. Although the place was tidy he had warned us that the place had been left in a bad state by previous renters who left the day we arrived hence the low score for cleanliness.The AC had a fault which was fixed really quickly.I think it would be helpful if there were cleaning products left as I like to keep the place as I find it.Would definitely stay again.

Florida vacation

Our child is in a wheelchair. Jason and Lori purchased ramps for us after we booked to ensure our child could easily access the home. We paid for the heat in the pool and we got it! The pool and hot tub were warm and we built memories hanging out in the water chatting away at the end of each day. The home was spacious and had everything we could need to ensure a great trip! Jason and Lori were easy and friendly to communicate with. We highly recommend them. We would definetly come back again!

Beautiful Home

We had a wonderful week stay! The home was perfect! Well stocked with everything you needed in the kitchen. The home also supplied toilet paper, little shampoos and soaps, trash bags, dishwasher pods, and even laundry pods to start you off on your stay which was really nice. We spent a lot of our time outside by the pool which had plenty of seating to lounge and tan in the sun or sit in the shaded area at the table with a nice overhead fan to keep you cool. We came to do a few Disney days along with some relaxing days at home by the pool. It was in a perfect location. 30 minutes to Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs. Easy drive and sooo much in between. You have everything. Restaurant’s galore whether it’s sit down or fast food, grocery stores, pharmacy’s, shopping, ice cream! We would 100% come back to this home again! Jason was always quick to respond with any questions I had! He truly cares about you enjoying your time in his home.

A nice villa in a great location

The villa and pool were nice, a little tired and slightly dirty in places, but a lovely place to spend a few weeks. Jason was great - he communicated promptly, arranged for extra sunbeds for us, and was courteous and responsive. Highlands Reserve is a wonderful location (this is our second time staying there), it's quiet and convenient. The only other comment (and this isn't so much a criticism as a tip for future visitors) is not to expect many 'essentials'. We stayed in many villas over the years and usually (though not always) they've left tea, coffee, pasta, tinned tomatoes, dishwasher tablets, maybe some milk and occasionally even a welcome basket - really handy when you arrive late with kids. However, there was almost nothing like this when we arrived - other than washing up liquid, four washing machine 'pods' and one toilet roll in each bathroom, the villa was completely empty. This is fine, there was no obligation to provide these things and we just went to the local supermarket the following day; however, we were surprised at just how little there was (it was almost as if the previous guests had stripped the place clean). Despite this (and again, it was just a comment and not really a criticism), I would recommend both Jason and this villa if you're staying in Orlando.

We are super glad we had Paul and family stay at our home. They were great guests and would recommend them to any host. If there were any issues with how clean the area was we would have responded right away if it was reported to us. We have proven to all guests we are not perfect but we will do anything we can for our guests when they reach out to us. My home is a self service home as advertised in the listing and in the documentation. This means we provide the basics and the guests get the rest. This is very similar to most homes around Disney. If Paul had reached out to us about needing things ahead of time we would have been very happy to accomodate just like we did by purchasing two extra lounge chairs for the pool area. I feel like we went above and beyond for Paul and family. Hopefully next time he reaches out to me to let me know about any requests or concerns before writing a review of 4 out of 5 stars on a 5 start home.

The Best Stay Ever- A home away from home

I would like to start by saying that this is and was the best vacation rental that I have ever rented. The description of the property was exactly what the owner said it was. It was clean, spacious, packed with amenities, and exactly as advertised.The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The convenience of having a local supermarket, pizza place ,restaurants, and being off of a major highway was a definite plus. What impressed me most about this property is the owners responsiveness to my questions.From the time we booked the reservation to the time we left the property, the owner kept in contact with us, answered every question and made us feel welcome, and that means a lot to me and my family. I was able to cook full meals because this family had a variety of pots and pans available. The full size washing machine allowed us to wash clothes before flying home. Three full size bathrooms and showers with EXCELLENT water pressure accommodated our family of 8. The beds and linens were comfortable. The family had games and books stored throughout the house. As a family who loves their screen time - the internet connections were strong and we were able to connect several devices. When I say it felt like home- It felt like home. Thank you Clark family for a wonderful stay. We are hoping to com back next year! Naomi (my youngest granddaughter) wanted me to relay a message: “Mr. Clark I really like your house”.

Highland reserve relaxation

A lovely spacious villa with very good facilities including a heated pool in a great neighbourhood, we found it to be a a perfect place to wind down in after a hectic time at the theme parks. The owner was a delight to deal with and was extremely accommodating throughout the booking process.

Great place - even better than the photos

This villa is lovely. Looks so much better than the photos. We felt so comfortable here and was home from home. Plenty of utensils and pots to cook a full meal. Pool was great and probably the cleanest pool we have had in Orlando! Perfect location for Disney parks and ideal you can walk to a bar which is unusual for Orlando. Can’t wait to return .

Schönes Haus, aber….

Das ist Haus ist sehr schön in der Nähe von Disneyworld in einer ruhigen Gegend gelegen. Es ist sehr geräumig. Der Pool ist sehr schön. Leider gab es zu wenig Geschirr (Gläser und kleine Löffel) bzw. das Geschirr war zum Teil veraltet (Töpfe) und zum Teil auch schmutzig. Der Vermieter war zum Teil anstrengend mit seiner Kommunikation („you have now our wonderful house“) bzw. Mit seinen Anforderungen, wie wir das Haus zu verlassen haben (z.B. bei der Abfahrt sämtliche Handtücher bereits gewaschen in den Trockner zu legen).

This villa has been the best we have stayed in. The location feels safe yet near enough to Disney and other attractions. The nearby Publix made life very easy. The villa was well equipped, the pool was lovely and used every day. Jason was so easy to communicate with and the management team introduced themselves the day after we arrived. Would highly recommend a stay in this villa.

Very nice place

Loved staying here! It was my first VRBO rental and for the most part it was a good experience ! There were a few quirks but owners were easy to communicate with and rectify the problems!

We loved having Samar and family stay at our home. They followed the rules and left the home in order. The spa jets are on a timer knob in the pool area. We had an issue where the pool heater circuit tripped and the property manager fixed it right away. We had another issue where a bath room sink was not draining and the property manager fixed it right away. My property manager was very responsive in both issues and was at the home within minutes when we learned of the issues. You can't ask for a better experience or service. These things will happen with any home or hotel and it is up to us to resolve them quickly. For this reason my rating should have been 5 stars. We would rent to Samar and family again.

We will be back!

We will be back. The house was perfect. The kids loved it and the pool was nice and warm-we spent many hours in there! But the reason we will be back is Jason -the owner. We unfortunately had to cut our vacation short thanks to COVID19 and Jason was nothing but helpful and understanding. He worked with VRBO and us to make a refund for the 8 days we didn’t stay. His willingness to go above and beyond to help save what was left of our vacation was exceptional We will be booking this house for many years to come.

We purchased this property in 2018. We purchased the home as a second home that we can share with our loved ones for years. Our goal is when we are not there to share it with other families so they can enjoy Florida as much as we do.
We purchased this home because of its location, in a great community, its close proximity to Disney and attractions. We really enjoy the space this home provides. It is cozy and homey when you are there. When we are there, this is truly a second home for us. We hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do.

Florida has some many things to offer and we have stayed in resorts, hotels and homes around Disney and we enjoyed them. This home will give you an opportunity to be close to your family. To have your own kitchen, living room, bedrooms, bathrooms, pool and spa is a great experience with your family. You can really feel like you are at home.
