This large family-friendly and immaculate home boasts an inverted floor plan that includes a gourmet kitchen, large living room, two dining areas and two master bedrooms on the top floor. Both master bedrooms are spacious and have ocean and intracoastal waterway views and large en suite bathrooms. The kitchen has custom granite countertops, tile backsplash, new appliances, built-in commercial refrigerator double ovens, and is well-stocked with every gadget, small appliance, and utensil needed to prepare large meals or accommodate take-out from any of the many restaurants on the island. The living room includes new furniture with a large flat-screen tv, panoramic ocean views, bar area with a built-in ice maker and wine refrigerator that spills over to a large covered veranda.

The second floor includes 6 bedrooms each with their own attached bathroom. A second living room with a large TV and pull out sleeper sofa is a perfect hangout space for children or adults. The utility room on this floor includes a front-load washer and dryer, and laundry/utility sink. The ground floor includes a two-car garage and game room complete with pool table, ping pong table, and a secondary full-size refrigerator for additional cold food and beverage storage. The game room leads directly out to the expansive pool deck and is the perfect entertainment space.

The 3/4 acre grounds include lush landscaping, over 70 enormous palm trees, fenced yard, and a backyard oasis with a large deck perfect for lounging by the saltwater pool and hot tub, grilling dinner or enjoying the afternoon sun and warm night breeze. The pool house includes a full bath -- a great convenience for coming off the beach. The panoramic views from any of the 6 porches are unlike any views of the ocean and intracoastal waterways on the island. Walk along the lighted catwalk down to the beach which is very secluded; or enjoy the beachfront gazebo. The house is one of the last properties on the west end of the island and is extremely private and quiet.

There are no hotels or high-rise complexes, just family owned cottages. Holden Beach is part of the barrier island chain in southeastern NC and is also located approximately 35 miles from Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC -- making trips for shopping, eating and entertaining very convenient. Holden Beach is also well-situated for 30 area golf courses.
