About Rick Tiffin
Hello. My name is Rick Tiffin and my wife is Cloris Tiffin. We are retired educators from West Texas and moved to Llano five years and have loved living here ever since. Our home is atop one of the highest hills in the Llano area and offers a spectacular view to the south. We wanted to share this great view of the hill country to visitors who come to the area so we built our cabin in the summer of 2015 and started renting it out as a bed and breakfast. We love to meet new people and we would love to offer our hospitality to you. So come and stay with us and we promise to make it a great experience for you.
Why Rick Tiffin chose Llano
Great view. Quiet and secluded. Close to just about anything you want to do or see.
What makes this Cabin unique
Our cabin has a Texas and Western theme so if you are a native Texas or not, you will love the atmosphere. So come on down and kick your boots off and stay a spell.

Excellent all around
Rick and his wife have a very nice place, great view of the Hill Country.
The perfect getaway!
This is the perfect romantic, quiet, getaway from everything spot. The cabin is comfortable, well decorated and you can tell a lot of care was put into every detail. The Tiffin’s are wonderful hosts and will make your trip perfect. We enjoyed watching the deer come in while we relaxed with a glass of wine and again in the morning while we had our coffee. The only think that could have made our anniversary trip better, was if we could stay longer. We will absolutely be back!! Thank you for sharing this beautiful place!
We loved having Stefanie and Steve stay with us. They are a super nice young couple and were a pleasure to meet and visit with. I hope they can return and stay longer sometime.
What a great little place to kick back and relax.
We got in pretty late after driving in after work from Dallas and Rick was up waiting for us to show us around. Everything was clean and the fridge full of what you might need. We loved the place and will definately return .
We appreciate you staying with us and hope you can come back before next opening deer season. Nice to meet you both.
Nice view over the Llano hills
Rick was a great host and had more than set us up for a relaxing evening overlooking the Hill Country. The house had every thing we needed and more–towels, snacks, coffee, movies, etc.
Our favorite part of the stay was the friendly Tiffin cat that hung out with us on the porch as we watch mule deer graze on corn feed the Tiffin's placed out as we enjoyed coffee.
If you're in Llano, I'd certainly recommend the Tiffin's b&b!
Thank you for staying with us. I enjoyed meeting you both and hope you can return again sometime. Glad to know Pinkie was being a good host cat :)
Texas T B&B is fantastic
Loved this charming cabin cant say enough about Rick and the service he provided, cabin was amazing, got to see deer right outside while sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch, a great overall experience.
We are glad you were able to make it. Enjoyed meeting you both and having you stay with us. Hope you can come back to celebrate another anniversary.
Great cabin for a weekend getaway!
We really enjoyed the cabin. The view was amazing and the cabin decor was perfect. We had originally looked in Fredericksburg but were lucky enough to find this available. A little bit of a drive but well worth it. We will definitely go back.
Thanks again for staying with us. We really do appreciate it alot.
It was nice to meet you both and hope you will be able to come back again sometime.
Llano is in the heart of the Texas Hill Country and is known as the Deer Capital of Texas. There are numerous wineries in the area for wine tastings and if antique shopping is your thing, Llano and nearby Fredericksburg have plenty to offer. There is the world famous Cooper's BBQ just over a mile down the road and Enchanted Rock less than 25 miles away to work off that BBQ. Our lakes include LBJ, Inks, Buchanan, and Travis if fishing or boating is your thing. The nightlife of Sixth Street in Austin is only an hour away. And how about the beautiful Llano river which runs thru the city and has two parks along its banks. The city golf course is located on the south shores of the river and has four holes along its south shoreline. Our chamber of commerce lists all the numerous events that occur each month. So what are you waiting for? Come see us and enjoy our great hospitality and the great Texas Hill Country.
