About Autumn Ridge Vacation Rentals

Autumn Ridge Vacation Cabin Rentals delivers on the decades-old Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, TN promise of a warm, cozy, and genuine, Smoky Mountain cabin experience for our guests. Our cabins are all about…. well, we will let you discover that shortly…. just keep reading.

Autumn Ridge Vacation Cabin Rentals is unique in the sense that is has 5 cabins situated on 7.8 acres, so that you as a visitor can experience the mountains in a tranquil private setting as the first visitors had.

Our as-advertised hand crafted cabins are exactly that! Each 1950′s inspired cabin was built by family members for the purpose of preserving our Appalachian Smoky Mountain culture and to provide a legacy for their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to come. In fact, three of our cabins bear the names of grandchildren! Grandpa Bill not only made the front doors for each cabin but all of the kitchen cabinets, too! Each board was hand-picked, each joint expertly crafted, and each nail or screw strategically placed, just so you, our guest, would feel special each time you visited.

In each cabin you will find a vintage photograph of our original family members, Sallie and Obie Greene, who settled here in the Great Smoky Mountains in the 1880′s. We hope you will take the time to notice their expression of joy and true love as they stare at each other, oblivious to the camera and the outside world. We are proud to say this legacy of love has certainly been passed down through the last four (so far!) generations.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a "Great" time here once again. This was our 7th time staying at Autumn Ridge. We enjoyed grilling, the hot tub and relaxing on the back porch. We spend all day Saturday in Pigeon Forge at the "Grand Fall Rod Run". Walked from one end of town to the other looking at all the cars. We love coming here this time of year. Once again thanks for making us feel at home!

nice cabin but

  • 3 of 5

overall cabin was what a cabin should be. for older guest cushions on rear deck with awesome view would be more enjoyable. the last night no power from 9:00 until I checked out in the dark in the am of sunday. no flashlights to be found made the last night of vaction a bust I understand bad weather we deal with hurricanes. just disappointed about the power issue and no call from rental agency to see if they could help. also no mention of no Wi-Fi available in cabin.

Awesome Cabin Deal

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed in Nite Vue cabin, one of five cabins owned by Autum Ridge Rentals. What a great price. Just as they advertise, no hidden fees. We stayed two nights for what it would have cost fir one night in other rentals. The owner, Sarah was very friendly and prompt at taking care of any concerns we may have had. We will definitely stay there again in any of the five cabins. Great place for family to be together and privately secluded area. Thank you Sarah and we look forward to our next stay. CJ's cabin is wonderful

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the CJ cabin over the holiday weekend--It was great! It was close enough to the fun-but far enough out so we didnt have to hear anything. My husband and I have been talking about downsizing and this cabin helped us realize what size we wanted. I posted pics on my fb and have had several friends ask for link. Great place will come back.

Maggie house

  • 4 of 5

We stayed in maggie house.

For the most part this was a good place to stay. There are pros and cons....

Its in an ok location. (I wouldn't say great but ok. Its 28 minutes from Dixie Stampede. It took us at least 20 minutes to get to pigeon forge. Not really close to downtown gatlinburg) Its secluded. Very romantic.

Just the right amount of space. Quite. It was clean. And the hot tub was an excellent feature.

There are no fees with this company which is 1 of the reasons we chose it. The fees these companies charge are highway robbery!

We did not like the way we got the key it did not feel safe.

Its on a crazy 1 way gravel road on the side of a mountain. Literally! I was scared to death every time we went down it. Do not try to come here in the winter without a 4x4 and even then there's no way I would do it!

There is barely a view in the summer. Which was disappointing. The trees hide it.

Overall it was a good cabin.

I would probably stay here again but bring the 4x4 next time.

Owner's Response: Thank you for staying with us! Maggie House is one of our guests’ favorite cabins! Not only are our cabins centrally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but they are away from lots of the hustle and bustle each town offers. However, even in secluded areas like ours, during County vacation peak times (which the summertime is), it is possible that travel times will increase between towns. Our County is blessed to have so many wonderful guests that chose to stay in such a beautiful area of the country. Our cabins are nestled along a mountain slope that does have a gravel driveway entrance. But there are only 5 single bedroom cabins that use this private entrance. Being a cabin, mountain venue, this type of entrance is typical. We have a lot of repeat guests during the winter months because of our seclusion and romantic get-away theme. Guests love to bring their groceries, let us supply the wood for the fires, and then “snuggle-in” for their stay. Each year, we cut back any vegetation that blocks the breathtaking mountain views. During some years, more growth takes place between tree trimmings than others. Again, this is a mountainous Cabin setting so some things are harder to control then what you would see at an in town rental. We are sorry that your experience was not what you expected. We always appreciate our guest’s feedback.

Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed at the Kelci Cabin, and it was perfect. The seclusion was exactly what we wanted. However, it was close enough to where we could get into the Smokies, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville, quickly, and far enough out of the madness and noise, that is Gatlinburg. Plus, there are some cool shops really close to the cabins.

Time away with kids

  • 3 of 5

It was very cozy and quite.. my husband and I chose the cabin for our romantic getaway for the hot tub and the scenery. When we arrived we notice that there was a lot of cobwebs and it was covered with more than acceptable amount of pollen like it had not been cleaned in days. Spring is the season for pollen but you would think that the cabin would be touched up before the guests arrived and the guess should not take spare time to clean before sitting on the front porch or getting in the hot tub which we did not get to enjoy. There were bugs in the cabin so I did call the number that's listed on my reservations and they did say something about the bugs but were told that they could not do anything about the cleanliness of the property basically I would have to get over that that is part of the reason that we chose the property was the view and the hot tub and we didn't get to enjoy it.. I did wipe down the rockers myself so I could have coffee outside ..... If the cleanliness would not have been a problem I would have given it a 5...
