About Janet Ingram-Giffee
I moved to East Tennessee from Wisconsin Dells, Wisc. 8 years ago. I never get tired of the ever changing view of the mountains and the four mild seasons the area has to offer. I grew up working with tourists and loved the idea of living on vacation- which is what life feels like everyday when you live on the border of such a beautiful national park! I am currently a Realtor in the Great Smoky Mountains, so I get to enjoy the drive and views everyday.
Janet Ingram-Giffee purchased this Cabin in 2015
Why Janet Ingram-Giffee chose Pigeon Forge
This is one of the few cabins that has a beautiful mountain view without driving scary mountain roads. It is easily accessible in most any weather and 5-15 minutes to all of the attractions the area has to offer. The resort is gated and well maintained with a community pool at the end of the street. To get this amazing view is less than 100 feet up a slightly steep driveway with level parking at the top where you can turn around.
What makes this Cabin unique
Because of my job, I get to see many different cabins everyday. Goodnight Kisses is cozy the moment you walk in. You can enjoy the view of the mountains from the dining room table while eating, on the front of the wrap around deck while you are grilling steaks, from the living room while watching a movie and from the loft while playing a game of pool. When you decide to relax in the hot tub in the evening, it is tucked away on the back deck for privacy away from the other cabins. My favorite time is watching the sun come up over the mountains while enjoying my morning coffee. The mountains bring an unbelievable peaceful feeling that you never tire of!

Neighborhood location is convenient to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. Cabin was stocked well & clean. Nice hot tub & views. Bed sleeps well. Bathroom sink drained sloooow, neighbors are close, & the driveway is steeeeep.....we had wheels spinning when we drove up in wet conditions.....overall I would recommend but the drive way could be a deal breaker for a lot of people
We are always happy to know what our guest think. If there are ever any issues we live 10 minutes from the cabin and always ask our guests to call if there are any problems so we can address them before your vacation is over.
We fixed the drain immediately upon the departure since we were told the morning of check out.
As for the driveway, we have it in our write up that the driveway is steep, but worth the 100 feet of pavement to the top for the beautiful views. And still much better than maneuvering scary roads much worse to get this view in the dark elsewhere. I tell everyone in the directions to put your car in the LOWEST gear and you won't have any issues going up....and there is room to turn around at the top.
My family enjoyed our time in Tennessee and the cabin was very cozy and clean. Janet was extremely kind and helpful. We look forward to future vacations and will definetly use this cabin again!
Accommodations were great. Very convenient location.
My wife & I booked this cabin for a weekend getaway. The cabin is beautiful, very clean & had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom, the comfy king size bed & the views from the front deck. The cabin is in the perfect location off the parkway in Pigeon Forge & a short drive to Gatlinburg which was exactly what we wanted. The only issues we had was that the locks on the front & back doors are a little wiggly. I would say they either need to be replaced or something needs to be done to the door frames to make them more secure. Other than that, no complaints. We had a great time & would recommend this cabin.
It’s an awesome and beautiful cabin with excellent amenities! We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend!
Perfect location just a few short minutes from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, but it feels like you’re nestled away in a mountain hideaway miles away from the hustle and bustle of all the activities and shopping available in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Beautiful view of the mountains! Very easy access to cabin. The hot tub and pool table offer hours of enjoyment. We love the placement of the hot tub on the back porch, and the sparkling lights strung above the hot tub create a very romantic and relaxing ambiance that everyone will enjoy and find it hard to leave.
My wife and I had an awesome weekend and very much enjoyed our second stay at the cabin. We first stayed there two years ago. It’s a beautifully decorated cabin and provides everything that you will need to have a very restful, comfortable, relaxing and rejuvenating visit. We look forward to our next visit.
