Check in and out procedures are super easy. This particular little house was just right for our needs with a quaint little kitchen and grill for our use. The manager was very accommodating and quick on responding to any questions or concerns we had. Would love to stay here again! Love the location!

We loved it! I own Lily Setter so we were a vendor at Aquapalooza. It was maybe 50 steps from the event at Captain Ron’s. The bungalow is perfect especially when it’s so close to the lake and a restaurant that we love. Amazing host and would recommend.

My friend and I have not seen each other in about 15 years and we booked your place to meet up at and have a weekend of fun sun, beverages and a little softball. Everything was absolutely spectacular. I don’t think I’ll ever stay anywhere but Captain Ron’s anytime I go to the Ozarks from here on out

Bungalow Retreat

Overall a good place to stay for the cost. Our trip was off season so we had to contact the property manager when we checked in to have them turn the water on. Other than that no issues at all. As others have stated, it might be a good idea to bring an extra roll of toilet tissue with you.

Nice but need bath towels only had 3 washcloth 2 hand towels. Need more bedding for futon bed. Plus need to let you know about paper towels garbage bags ,soap. Had to use our bath soap and had to buy bath towels and paper towels. Nice area clean ac worked great.

Smokey

Not a bad stay but not a good one either. First, the whole unit smelled of cigarettes as if the previous user had disobeyed the “No Smoking” notice on the wall. Very stinky. Second, the carpets are in dire need of a good cleaning. Didn’t feel comfortable going barefoot. Third, the coffee pot was not functioning properly. It took 3 hours to brew a half pot of coffee. Fourth and lastly most of the mini blinds were in poor shape with broken or heat bent slats. Didn’t feel very safe with the gaps especially next to a busy restaurant.

Thank you for your review. We are aware of the previous renters disregard for the "no smoking" policy and tried our best to fumigate the cabin. The upgrades to the cabin, such as new blinds and carpets, are in the works. We look forward to you staying with us again, especially after these upgrades are completed.

This was a very clean updated cabin. We just used it for sleeping. The only thing missing is a new comfy mattress and new fluffy pillows. Over all happy with the cabin.

Condition of the unit

While the little house was very cute, it was in shabby condition. The shower was blistered, the cabinets were dirty, the refrig was rusted and loud, the mattress was old and the wood on the deck was rotted.
