We have been overjoyed with the positive response from our guests, so we took the plunge and decided to purchase unit 101 in early 2017. Shores of Maui is a special place, where only about 50 condominium units share amenities typical of a much larger complex. Watch surfers and paddle boarders or scan the horizon for whales (in season) while sipping a Mai Tai by the solar heated pool and hot tub. Gather with friends and family as Maui’s most stunning sunsets melt into the ocean. Can you spot the green flash?
Unit 203 is on the top floor of this two-story building, accessible from a short stairway leading directly to your front door. The walkway to the unit displays a variety of lush, tropical palms and flowers. From your lanai enjoy a panoramic view of the south side of Haleakala to the Maui coastline. The master bedroom boasts a cal king bed with flat screen HDTV. The second bedroom has 2 queen beds and a flat screen HDTV. With also having a pull-out sofa in the living room (that is queen size) , the condo comfortably sleeps six. The unit is fully furnished including a well-equipped kitchen with brand new stainless refrigerator & dishwasher. New washer and dryer for guests to use. Enjoy the convenient location minutes from Maui’s top rated beaches, South Maui’s best dining, delightful local cafes, shopping and attractions. Always wanted to learn to surf? Simply head across the street to the adored “Cove” where numerous surf instructors provide daily lessons to all age groups and skill levels. Or walk one block to Charlie Young beach/Kamaole I and enjoy one of the best swimming beaches on Maui.
As the most consistently sunny place on Maui, Kihei receives less than 13 inches of precipitation annually. There is no better area on the island to ensure a sunny vacation! Kihei is also known for its relaxed, local feel, however The Shores of Maui is only a short drive from upscale Wailea shops and resorts. You can go from beach casual to opulence in minutes!
On-site amenities include a solar heated pool, heated spa with jets, tennis court, covered outdoor dining area and modern barbeque grills. One parking stall is included in the rental.

Great stay at this condo with lovely ocean & pool view!
Our stay in this condo was just perfect for my family! Great space for my husband and I in one room and for my sisters family with two kids in the second room. We enjoyed the view of the ocean and pool from the lanai every day! The condo was well stocked with starter supplies enough to last us couple weeks and It was great to have enough towels for our families and even some for all of us for the beach. The kids got to enjoy using the beach stuff provided in the closet. The AC was quick in cooling the condo on really hot days. We had some difficulty with the tv but the owner was quick in emailing us back on our concerns and made an effort in helping us fix the issue. Any questions we had for the owner was always answered promptly. The location of the condo was perfect for quick access to the beaches, restaurants and grocery store! We had a lovely stay in Kehei and would love to come back again!

Condo is a great 2nd floor, 2BR, 2BA choice for easy ocean access as well as walk -to shopping in Kihei. Lanai offers great view of the pool as well as Cove Beach and the ocean. We had our morning coffee on the ample lanai & loved to watch all the paddle boarders off Cove Beach.
Unit is very secure & we appreciated a keypad entry with our own code given to us by the owner.
Kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils etc as well as starter paper products. Modern glass stove-top & oven, side-by-side refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave & disposal. Tub showers in both baths, hairdryers & starter paper goods. Stacked washer & dryer was a definite plus as was the drying rack for our swimsuits & towels. Even has a beach closet off the kitchen filled with chairs, coolers, sand toys & swim noodles. We got a lot of use out of these with our 3 yr old granddaughter!
Furnishings are newer and clean. TVs in living room & bedrooms as
well as DVD player, paperbacks, puzzles, etc.
The condo is pleasantly furnished, clean & very secure. We all had wonderful comfortable nights' sleep.
The grounds & pool are immaculately groomed. The pool area has plenty of deck chairs, permanently fixed picnic tables & grills under a covered area.
Guests & the permanent residents alike were all very friendly, making us feel welcome.
My husband, myself, our adult daughter and young granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
Prefect for 3 generations
We stayed for 7 nights in Maui with our 2 kids (9 months and 3 years) and their grandparents. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the location was great. We rented a car, but hardly needed it because everything is walking distance. Foodland for groceries is close by. Our favorite place to eat was Joys cafe, which was a 3 minute walk. My 3 year old son loved charley young beach, which was a 5 minute walk, and right across the street is a small beach that was perfect for a quick dip in the ocean. Downsides to this condo include: lots of traffic noise during the day, a rooster crowing all night long, and the pool is a little chilly for small children (I think the ocean was warmer!) Overall we had an amazing time!
Great location and perfect condo for our family!
We stayed at unit 203 for 2 weeks in February 2018 and the condo met our needs in every way. After doing all inclusive vacations in previous years, we were a bit concerned about whether we would have what we needed for our holiday. There are a lot of kitchen tools, including an amazing blender that we used quite a bit. It is spacious, has two full bathrooms and a great spot for seeing the ocean (and whales!). The Shores of Maui is honestly a great little community - everyone knew each other. Very kind people, mostly from the US and Canada.
Coolers, beach chairs, towels, beach umbrellas and other supplies were also included. Parking was also very easy.
Thanks for the great experience! We look forward to coming back in the future.
Great location for a family getaway
We very much enjoyed our time at this condo. Spacious 2 bedrooms - everyone had room to spread out. The condo was very clean and comfortable. There is a well stocked kitchen - didn't lack for anything. Beach items (chairs etc) were awesome! Spent several mornings and sunset evenings on the balcony and at the pool - just awesome. Would definitely stay here again.
Great location and prepped well.
Spent a week here with my daughters. The condo is in a great central location, has good views of the beach and was clean and well prepared. Everything was clean and a lot of the typical beach accessories were there. Bags, umbrellas, chairs, towels, etc. Everything for cooking and sleeping were there too. No late night trips to the store for basic necessities like coffee filters, trash bags, toilet paper, etc..

MONTHLY RATES are given a discount, please contact owner for details. Payment options: check, credit / debit card via PayPal or Square Cash. CANCELLATIONS – Cancellations made prior to 60 days in advance, full deposit will be refunded. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the damage/reservation deposit of $250.00.
