Superb in every way. The location, ambiance and every detail was just perfect. Alessandro was incredibly helpful and made sure we had the best info for a stay in his treasured city. I booked many months in advance and I am so happy we did not miss out. We were here for a week. Walked everywhere we needed to experience. For being in the hub it was surprisingly peaceful. We enjoyed the church bells ringing, sipping coffee on the patio. Reward yourself and look no further. It was a privilege to stay here.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Florence. We loved it! It’s super clean and well kept, very spacious and so conveniently located. It’s also surprisingly quiet, especially for being so close to everything. The kitchen is well set up, the laundry facility is helpful and it has a nice outside terrace.Alessandro is a great host. He’s very communicative and genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay. We ran into a problem because the VRBO app did not show all of the details correctly – be aware that if you are only two people, but want to use the regular bed and the sofa bed, as my adult daughter and I did, it will cost more, as if there is a third guest. This was unclear, but Alessandro was very accommodating with the mixup and we worked it out. Overall we had a wonderful stay and I will 100% stay there the next time I’m in Florence… And you should also! It’s really just the best!

Perfect Florence Location, steps from the Duomo

Alessandro has thought of everything to make your stay in Florence comfortable. The apartment is beautiful with high end touches and is a wonderful place to return after a long day of exploring Florence. Easy walk to the Ufizzi, Ponte Vechio, and train station for day trips. We stayed for a week and enjoyed breakfast/coffee every morning before heading out. We reviewed our day on the outside patio area. I would love to return for a longer stay… still so much left to see and experience!

Excellent welcome by our host. 1’ to Duomo, 7’ Academia, well set up kitchen, dining room, sitting room, and porch in addition to a large bedroom with ample closet space. You can’t miss with this property.

Italian charm with all the amenities! Gracious host with wonderful recommendations. The only negative we experienced was that the oven pan and microwave were not cleaned from previous tennants.

Location Location Location

This was the perfect place for our four day adventure in Firenze! Alessandro was a great host and the communication was good from the beginning. He met us upon arrival and showed us how to work everything and also gave us detailed information for getting around Firenze. The apartment was very clean and furnished with all the amenities. The shower had good pressure and the bed was very comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. And, despite the apartment being a few steps from the busy Duomo, it was extremely quiet. The apartment is very close and within walking distance to popular attractions. My husband and I highly recommend this place for your time in Firenze. Thank you Alessandro for sharing your beautiful traditional florentine style apartment with us!

Italy Wine Not Again

We loved our stay at the “Terrace to the Cathedral”. I feared the location would be noisy, but the apartment is extremely quiet and comfortable. The location was perfect for all of our activities. Alessandro was extremely helpful, meeting us when we arrived early, giving us detailed information about the apartment and the neighborhood. His cleaning lady was there before him, but even though she didn’t speak English she was very welcoming and helpful. We needed to text him a few times and he always responded quickly. Alessandro arranged our taxi our departure day when we couldn’t get a service to respond. The apartment was beautiful, and comfortable with two air conditioners, which was important for the July heat.The terrace was pretty, but it was just too hot to go outside for longer than a few minutes. The kitchen was well stocked even though we chose not to cook. I would be happy to return, and very happy to recommend to anyone looking for a property on VRBO.

Amazing stay!

Alessandro was an incredible host. He met us with the key and gave us so many amazing recommendations around Florence since it was our first time visiting. The apartment was clean, in an incredible location (Cathedral literally outside the door), and just all around a cozy, cute place. I highly highly recommend this place for your trip. We hope to be back in the future!

Great place with an amazing host

This property has everything one needs to feel comfortable and create a temporary home. With an elevator that starts on the ground floor, the apartment is good for those with mobility issues. Alessandro provides everything you need for a great stay. He is amazing host. Love this place and will be back.

Fantastic Location-Wonderful Apartment-Outstanding Host

Fantastic location in the center of Florence next to the Duomo within easy walking distance to nearly everything. Wonderful apartment on first floor (with elevator if needed) well furnished and very comfortable with unique secluded outdoor terrace. Alessandro was an outstanding host in everyway coordinating taxis for our arrival/departure (we parked our car outside the city) providing advice/recommendations for tourist sites and always on call if we needed anything. We were there for 2-1/2 weeks and that was not enough time for Florence!

Perfetto!

My daughter and I stayed in Florence for a 7 days. The location of this apartment is great. Being so close to Duomo it allowed us to wander freely, explore other parts of Florence and always easily find our way back. Alessandro was great to work with. I had 2 instances where I needed help with some phone call and he was happy to help out. Those 2 instances resulted in being very easy for me. The first 4 days we were there the weather was perfect so we spent most of our time outside of the apartment. Days 5 and 6 were rainy. On these rainy days we did some morning museum things, then early afternoon we did the 2 minute walk to the grocery store bought some things for the apartment and watched some movies until the rain let up. Perfect location, very clean and comfortable and a host that is willing and capable helping in any situation.

Fantastic location and host

This apartment couldn't have been in a better location. You could walk to everything in the old town of Florence. Alessandro was very helpful and was able to accommodate us arriving a little earlier than normal check-in time. He helped us get a very early morning taxi since I was having difficulties getting my phone to work. This had plenty of room for the two of us. We had a great time and would rent this property again.

Wonderful stay in Florence

Stayed 4 days in July 2023. Alessandro was amazing and accommodating. We asked if it would be possible to drop our luggage off at the apartment as we arrived in Florence at noon. To our surprise he had expedited the cleaning and check in process for us so that we could have an early check in. It was clear that Alessandro wanted us to enjoy our time in Florence and in addition to orienting us to the apartment provided maps, recommendations, and general tips for navigating the area. The apartment was well appointed and as depicted. Though the weather was 40 degrees C the air con unit in the master bedroom kept us comfortable. We didn't have the need to contact Alessandro during our stay but we were confident that he would attend to any need that presented. Highly recommend the location (easily walkable from train station) and just far enough of the piazza that you are not overwhelmed by crowds. The gelateria across the street is highly recommended as it was a daily treat for our kids (ages 8 and 11).

Perfect stay in Florence!

We had a wonderful stay at Alessandro's apartment. He was considerate in every way and spent time helping us acclimate to the apartment and area as well as leaving notes detailing phone numbers, etc. for transportation, restaurants, and activities which was very helpful. He thoughtfully equipped the apartment with everything needed, even umbrellas which came in handy one day. The area is within walking distance to many of the important sites and convenient to groceries a few minutes walk away as well as other shops and restaurants. We would absolutely not hesitate to stay here again!

Great stay

The host took time to explain the details of the apartment as well as sites in Florence. His recommendations for food were spot on. One of our best experiences with a VRBO host. I would recommend this property for its excellent location, beautiful apartment and responsive and caring host.
