About this property

OceanSong on Plum Island

OceanSong is an upscale beach house on the south end of Plum Island. It’s just 140 steps to an uncrowded, sandy ocean beach and a five minute walk to the National Wildlife Refuge. Island restaurants are in walking distance and Newburyport’s quaint shops, restaurants and nightlife are four miles away.

The beach house has walkout sliders to decks on three sides and an outside shower. The interior is set in a white and natural oak motif with hardwood floors, tide clock, charts and recessed lighting to create an upscale, beachy feel. The main level features an open living room and dining area, kitchen, two bedrooms, two baths and a sunroom. The second level sports a loft and bedroom with skylights. The third level is a lookout.

OceanSong is designed as a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a beach vacation. It comes with everything from linens to wine glasses. It’s great for a family or couples. Come and have a great vacation!

Ocean Song definitely exceeded our expectations at one of our favorite vacation spots! Richard is a great host & took the time to give us a tour of the property & beach access which is just a short walk from the house. The house is very comfortable & well stocked with everything you need. It's also just a short walk to restaurants, stores & Surfland (best bait & tackle store around!) Yearly Plum Island Mother & Daughters weekend

The good life on Plum Island

Very comfortable. Short walk to beach and very close to Parker River Wildlife Refuge. Well stocked kitchen and extremely helfpul and friendly owner. Would definitely stay again.

OceanSong will only accommodate up to six (6) guests (adults+children). Elisabeth’s review suggests 7 guests stayed. I’m very disappointed. On arrival we discussed, and Elisabeth confirmed, only 6 guests. I will not rent to Elisabeth again.

A lovely weekend

We enjoyed our stay. The home was just as described & was exactly what we were looking for. We greeted some weekend sunsets & sunrises overlooking the ocean......from the cool house lookout area. We would definitely stay again.

Cozy Beach House!!

Richard was so helpful at check in and made sure we knew where everything was. The house is stocked with everything you need. I only stayed one night, and my adult kids stayed on night 2, but we all had a nice stay!
